My great grandma always kept her tree up until the superbowl. She always had a big party and I keep the tradition going (except now I have cute football ornaments to add 😊)
Klaus is the only Christmas movie I've ever liked, it's so cute and the story makes me tear up every time. Also for some reason my cat likes it? 10/10 would recommend
I love this video!! For my Christmas decor it's all about the Gingerbread!! With red, green, gold accents. For winter I'm feeling evergreen trees or trees in general. Warm white lights and a ski lodge vibe.💚🤎🤍
One of my go-to gift ideas for the trendy/nerdy/gamer etc. are BLIND BOXES. So much fun to open, and very nice to receive! But definitely more on the wasteful side of the consumer spectrum. And my non-negotiable holiday movie is It's A Wonderful Life. Reminds me of what really matters in one's life, and how important it is to eat the rich
I just want to say I really love your content. I was so burnt out for a week and i couldnt think of anything but ur vids are so cozy and comforting and learning to create my hobby has made me feel like myself again. People say things like their a waste of time and im all grown up i shouldn’t do things like that but it seriously makes me a better person. I feel better and do better idk if that makes sense. Thank youu ❤
I did that viral wrapping - homemade gift bag hack. Worked beautifully and looked so awesome with all the other regular gifts under the tree. I started coordinating wrapping last year with velvet ribbons - highly recommend.
ahhhh no way, I was going through your winter/Christmas blogs earlier while painting ornaments! so excited I have a new one to watch, love u Kennedy!🤎🤎❄️🧦⛸️🍪
You listed 2 of my all-time favorite winter movies! White Christmas is my all-time favorite, it was my grandads favorite and I would watch it with him every year. It's so beautiful and such good songs. I just watched it in theaters and I highly sugguest watching the classics in the theater. It's so magical. And I love a year without Santa Clause for the exact same reason. Love Mr.Snowmiser and heatmiser! Also love Little Women! I also love the Nutcracker so much!! My mom and I would go to it every year. And we just Watched A Christmas Carol as a play.
@emilypossom Amazing! I feel like scarfs are so much fun, becuase you don't have to be super fucused. By the way, I was crocheing a little rendeer plushy and I'm finished now. It's so CUTE!
this year I'm really trying to pull together a cute christmas aesthetic and I'm calling it *sugar plum fairy* ~ very whimsical and colorful with bows, and stars ✨:)))
finds I am loving: a red and black plaid wool blanket from Italy, scored at home Goods! and finally, FINALLY, a comfy, perfectly fitting pair of knee high boots! (I wear a 10 wide and have muscular calves. My feet were not made for shoe companies.) bucket list: going to a movie and Chinese food on Christmas day. and I bought a watercolor workbook after you were showing them off in the fall.
I fully support going to the movies on Christmas and getting Chinese food. I've been going to the movies on either Christmas Eve or day with my kiddo since she was little. The first movie I took her to see for Christmas was The Princess and The Frog. This year, we're going to see Nosferatu. A couple Christmas' ago, we went to dinner instead of cooking and it was so nice! The restaurant was so peaceful since most people are at home with their families.
It’s so true this did come out at *chefs kiss* the perfect time today! Was just organizing some christmasy ideas for the week, and writing down my favorite things that I did this year, was very therapeutic!!
For me important part of Christmas season is to be involved in local charity events, like Pennies from Heaven or Toys for Tots, and on a personal level I usually ask cashier to pay for groceries for someone in a store (you can choose the budget so it’s manageable amount) . It’s not much, but it feels special and bring more joy to everyone involved 🎄♥️😊
Things that I have in the house during the winter are gnomes I bring them in after all their hard work and decorate the house with I put them back outside in the spring as well as the fairies I collect 😊😊😊 my tree has a bit of a nutcracker theme Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤
Love all the things you picked out. Helped out with gift giving, thanks!!! 😆”Eat a jean jacket”😂that’s exactly what I’m wearing.😩have a beautiful weekend.
Your videos are always so cozy and inspirational! I am not a sweater person however by watching your videos I love cardigans. They are the best! I think stargazing is a nice activity! I have been watching videos about self-care like Diane in Denmark video 3 ways I organize our Danish home - hygge baskets, where she talks about having a self-care basket, reading basket, and snack basket, and Mariane Cresp videos about self-care. I also have been watching vlogmas videos from Morgan Long, at the end of her vlogmas videos she has a voice message/ written message from members of her community that offer encouragement and Mateo from the channel the winterisblu vlogmas videos- he travels in his van with his cat!
I love so many of these ideas. Some of these ideas I already employ and have for some time, but it's always nice to see other ideas and incorporate them. I'm very behind in my Christmas decorating this year. We're about 80% decorated because the plan was to make homemade salt dough ornaments, and I decided to wait until it was cool here in New Orleans so our ornaments wouldn't get weird before we modge podge them, but also I was just busy. We finally made our ornaments this weekend and the plan is to modge podge them today so we can put them on the tree along with our satin ribbon bows we're gonna tie onto the tree. We've been slowly going to see the Christmas lights in the evening, listening to holiday music exclusively, but I really want to do my mini puzzles and some paint by numbers while watching Christmas movies.
You have my favorite Christmas movies on your list! The Holiday and The Family Stone. I especially love movies like The Holiday where the movie really isn't about Christmas, it is just set at Christmas time.
my holiday "themes" are always mix matches of different things that make me happy. i thought about putting themed ornaments on my tree this year, but decided to use my silly little guy ornaments instead. also my tree topper is a nightmare before christmas santa hat lol
One of the best holiday movie that no one knows about because it’s more of a UK film…but it’s my favorite…”millions” by the same director of slum dog millionaire and many other favorites… it’s so cute and sweet. I dare you to watch it!❤
Re: intential gift wrapping: I have a wax seal set that I pretty much only break out during the holidays. I'll either seal a bow to the gift with a wax stamp, or I'll seal a little handwritten note on with the wax. People go nuts for it every time!
I will put my tree up only in january when we will move back home. We are in renovation process and I don't care if Christmas is over. I will put only the lights, full of lights ❤️
look up the czech-german movie Tři oříšky pro Popelku - it's somewhere out there in english (or at least with subtitles) and it's the most magical take on Cinderella ever. also it kind of leaves out the damsel in distress character and Cinderella very much helps herself but also gets the prince ;)
Hey Cozy K!! Another great video!! You always manage to get me even MORE into the spirit of FALL and The Holidays!!! I didnt even know I was a cozy person until I started watching your videos lol I have been very interested in your watercoloring... Im also attempting watercolorsn and im intimidated.... The water dispenser gadget you have on your storefront I ordered and cant WAIT to get!! But I see you using also a sketchbook type thing that has the picture on the left side and the opposite page is blank ... where can I find it ? Its exactly what I need!!
For wrapping, we save paper grocery bags all year and break them down into big sheets for wrapping paper. We use ink stamps to add cute repeating patterns on them ❤ this year I used stamps I had of baby woodland creatures
#1movie is definetly Home Alone 2 its my absolute favorite I watch it every year and for TV shows: Bobs Burgers! All the Christmas episodes! Basically when Fall strsts so do the Bob's Burgers holiday episodes (Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas)
The Die Hards, Its a Wonderful Life, Love Actually, White Christmas!!! Those are my go to although I do watch A LOT of all sorts of Holiday movies... I got my mom the hallmark channel in November and shes been bingeing all sorts of silly love story happy ending type holiday movies lol NOT my thang but I know that for a lot of ppl they dig those... Also is the new LITTLE WOMEN as good as the 90's one? The one with Winona Ryder? Thats the one I grew up with and it IS SO COZY !!! Im afraid to watch the new one even though I love Seorsia Ronan (i know i misspelled that)
I used to play Mario & Sonic Olympic winter games when I was little on my DS and it always made me feel so cosy and winter-y, I loved it; maybe that’s one you could check out? I loved playing the story mode where there’s different worlds to discover.

If I can squeeze it into the budget, there's a series of fleece pullovers that I also want to get for my brothers and my older brother's girlfriend that I hope they'd like. Something with a straw would be great as well so she doesn't have to worry about spilling it on herself as her hands shake. No, I will NOT buy her a Stanley cup. I so agree!! Why are they so tricky to shop for lolol. And for the cup - hydroflask’s cup with a handle is probably perfect! It has a suctioned on lid so no screwing necessary, much less leaking, a bendy straw so easier access.
@CozyK Oh, the Hydro Flasks look great, thank you! I had been looking at the Thermos website last night for ideas, but I think the one I'd been eyeballing had a screw top, lol (also, never knew Thermos was a brand...I always just thought that's what that style of container was called 😅). Thank you so much for the recommendation! I think that'll work for my grandmother 😊
Hi cozy K I was in a grumpy mood so I needed this video right now my brother would not leave me alone and I am so happy that I am going to be moving into my new place 😊and be able to decorate my home I have been feeling really unhappy this December because my sister Georgia is not coming home for Christmas 🎄 and that breaks my heart ♥️ 😢I just got out of the shower 🧼 and I feel so much better i needed to mentally reset my body because I felt so gross and showers always make me feel good 😊 I am heading to bed 🛌 I will watch your video at 12pm 🕛 because that’s when I am waking up ❤
