Really enjoyed this video Jett, thank you. I like the location of The Strand, but still need to save a couple of bucks. I’ll get there one day. Cheers 🍻
Thanks for the tour of these beautiful condos. Love your channel. I read about the Porsche Design Condo due to begin construction on Sukhumvit Soi 38 with prices beginning at USD $15 M. If they have a model please get some video footage. Way outta my price range but one can always dream.
Boomtharis made a video previewing it th-cam.com/video/GVbq6RYK71Q/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mQzwSf9tJydM19Mg I think for me, I'd rather wait to tour completed buildings as I've noticed those videos get a lot more engagement. Maybe something at One Bangkok 😉
Believe it or not, I've never been in there and know very little about it! Many ultra luxury projects are very secretive and only deal with select agents.

Great vdo 👍. The Gaggenhau hob and fan but a Siemens oven wrecked it for me at The Strand. My OCD could not cope with it lol😅. I joke. Apart from that. Pets friendly sounds great. It's just if you end up living next to a condo with a dog that barks all day I guess. The Ritz Carlton being liquid. Is that a good or a bad sign. I thought I heard you say 138M at The Scope 😱. I would ❤️ my own private elevator 🛗. 🇹🇭🙏 . I am hoping to live in Bangkok by 2026 coming from UK 🇬🇧. My GF she has a 3 storey villa near Ban Thap Chang on the Suvarnabhumi airport link.
Cheers! I think the best way to find out is to have an in-person tour of the condos you're interested in. Your girlfriend's villa does sound wonderful too!
Depends on the unit. Some have balconies. For this particular one you can sort of open some windows but the unit has a 24 hour air circulation system too.
I don't see the value proposition of Scope being 2x the price of the Ritz Carlton Residences. What can you get at the Ritz for 4 million? I'd assume something bigger than a 168sqm 2br.
Airbnb is illegal for the vast majority of condos in Bangkok. There are very rare exceptions. I only know of one condo on Sukhumvit that I think might allow it, but I’d rather not say the name as it may not be true.
@@JettGunther thats what i thought. I have 2 condos in duabi on Airbnb and make good rental out of it.. is it true on rental they provide 6 months upfront with one month brokers fee in Bangkok.. THis BTS Phrom Phong is airbnb
These are nothing for ostentatious people like myself. I’m waiting Porsche Tower next year in Thonglor where prices start at 15 million and go up to 40 million. And that’s USD, not THB.
Not so impressed with the Strand. For a million dollars I would think a pet friendly condo would have a space where your pet could relieve themselves. Seems poorly planned. Surprised you didn’t point that out since pet friendly was an amenity you specifically focused on up front.
“Pet friendly” is just a real estate term that literally means “pets allowed” it doesn’t mean they actually love that you have a pet and want to pamper it and watch you sashay around with it and have it poop in the lobby while they clap 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭
Correct. I was just going to say that most condos that allow pets won't have dedicated pet facilities. In reality, residents with pets are still in the small minority and therefore most people will get much more use out of facilities being done for humans instead.
I agree. Strand is not pet “friendly” at all. They allow pets. And that is about it. A friendly space takes into account who it is being “friendly” with. And Tait 12 is way ahead of Strand in terms of this.
Don't get me wrong, I love Tait 12 as well. Did a video about it. But could you elaborate on how it's "way ahead" for pets? Tait has a tiny park in the back that it calls a "dog park" with a little shower zone. Strand also has a park but no shower zone. How is having a shower "way" ahead? Unless they have extra pet facilities within the condo that I don't know of.

Scope Lang Suan and 98 Wireless are amazing. Of the ones you presented you cannot go wrong with the Ritz Carlton but Scope is by far the best.
I agree.
Informative vid, and solid production as always. Nobody does it better!
Much appreciated!
I've seen many of your videos and seen many other condos. I must say this Scope Langsuan understands the dire need for storage and closet space.

You will! All the best 🙌
I like The Strand. Is it really 65 cm gap between each floor? Sound like a lot.
The Scope is, of course, nicer - but it is like dubble sqm-price.
Big project Porches luxury condo for lover Porche, the third tower in the world, Miami, Germany, and Bangkok. Price around 50-400 mil/unit.

Gorgeous
I agree!
That last condo works out at Bt821k per sqm. Is that a record for Bangkok or have other condo units sold for more?
It's up there! But there have been ones that sold for even more!

The problem with the open kitchen is not that it not suitable for cooking as the fumes and oil will be spread to the dining and living room area.
For sure! And that’s why many condos offer both options. So it depends on whether you prioritize cooking or entertaining.
Is there a way to open windows or get airflow somehow at the ritz carlton?
Depends on the unit. Some have balconies. For this particular one you can sort of open some windows but the unit has a 24 hour air circulation system too.
I don't see the value proposition of Scope being 2x the price of the Ritz Carlton Residences. What can you get at the Ritz for 4 million? I'd assume something bigger than a 168sqm 2br.
In my opinion, everything at Scope is done a notch above Ritz, plus it's in ultra prime location.
Brand name kitchen appliances and toilet fittings do not equate to 32Mb for a 2bed 79sqm (Strand). Fair value, about 12Mb.
You're right. There's also location, build quality, design, amenities, services, overall living experience that add to 36m.
Is it possible to rent a unit at the Strand?
Yes but hard to find. Most people buy to live in themselves.
👍😍🤗👍
