    One of the best videos I've seen so far. Good tips on knocking out those wings. Definitely the hardest part of a custom. It separates the men from the boys. Suggestion for customizers...grab a pair of 1.75 magnifying glasses from the dollar tree, they are game changers. Nice video!

    Also what can help are wearable glasses that are magnifying you can find on amazon or even eBay. Even the as seen on TV glasses I got from Ross another thing about cleaning the brush. You’d want to use a damp paper towel and clean the black paint swirling the tip to keep it sharp and clean. Also what I do is mix gloss angelus finisher with the black paint just a 1/16 portion to dilute the paint enough to easily fill your logos out. And you can also if you get paint where you don’t you can use a soft damp piece of paper towel a small q tip or your finger nail to remove the excess paint. Angelus is water soluble so it’s real easy to work with. Great work suheel!

    Question for you ,, all .
    If I'd want to paint the stitching Air Jordan logo on the back , heel areas of LOW 1's ,,, and the color of the stitching is dark ( black or red ) ,,, and I'd like to make it white . Is there ANY prep that needs to be done to dark stitching before painting white ? .. or is Angelus White paint mixed with 2 soft , and a few coats painted on ok ? Thanks .

    • @FeelgoodThreads
      @FeelgoodThreads  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No real prep besides make sure it’s clean. Also I’d start with white but not a lot of 2soft in the beginning. Black to white takes several coats so be patient and you may need to compromise a bit of texture to achieve it

    • @FeelgoodThreads

    • @FeelgoodThreads
      @FeelgoodThreads  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      E t you can but dye comes out blotchy. I’m saying some people dye a white shoe black first so it seeps in the pours of the leather and stains it black. Then they paint it black over. So if you hit a curb on the street and your black paint scratches off, you have a second coat (the dye) that still keeps that section looking black.
