Bruh, I'm glad I came across your channel. I just got some all white Jordan 1's that I'm gonna customize and was trying to figure out all kind of ways to paint that area. I even though about having a custom stamp made just for this. Had to sub for this one. What kind of sealant do you suggest?

What kind of transfer paper do you use?
I use cricut brand transfer tape. If you buy it make sure it's NOT the strong grip.

I use cricut brand. Works great for me. Just make sure it's the standard gripe not strong gripe.

I use a weeding tool and just take my time with it. Some area's are really close together so It can be tough

What is the durability of this method? I have a hard time thinking that it will hold up.
It's the same type of vinyl people put on there car windows. Runs thru car washes, sun, dirt. It holds up
@@RonGotSole Understood. But the medium in which the sticker is being applied to is different. Furthermore, the sticker on a shoe has a lot less to adhere to and is subject to the stretching and bending action of a shoe, something a car window will not do. In your experience, have you personally had any issue at all with this method. I am aiming for quality and longevity.
@@itsgoff from my experience (so far) its held up very well. If anything it can also be used as a paint over stencil

How have these held up? Interested in trying this method on some royal toe customs.
Its permanent vinyl. So its holds up very strong as long as you heat set it and press it onto the surface and let it properly adhere and cure
how do you logos in the program? can you just look them up?
I Google the image and look for an "svg" file. Most of the images you still have to erase the parts you don't want. But svg's usually have the background and insides already erased for you
How high of temp do you use the dryer for? and how long? Last question: Do you apply finisher after-the-fact?
I just used a normal hair dryer on the lowest setting for a couple seconds. And yes I put a finish on top of it to knock back some of the gloss. A finish not required tho

Man great video!! If I have size 15-16 Jordan ones and I wanted to make a wings logo, what dimensions would you recommend? I know they’d likely have to be larger
I usually go up a couple centimeters for bigger sizes. But it's probably best to measure the width to get the most accurate reading

Great video bro, I subscribed right away, what material did you use for the black wings logo and the clear transfer paper, I just finished a custom and don’t have the steadiest hands to make the wings look crisp
I used oracle 651 black glossy vinyl. And the transfer tape is cricut brand. If your interested I sell them pre made.

What size is the wings logo?
2.3 width 0.9 in height. Depends on the size of the shoe your using tho. Might have to make some adjustments for bigger or smaller size shoes
What size would you use for a 12?
The same measurements. Size 9.5-13 are the same. Size 8-9 are only slightly smaller

It's incredible how you make them look so nice. I have been wanting a pair of Jordan1 Chicagos for a while now but as a 14 year old struggling to make a lot of extra money, the only option I had to come to was to make custom chicago mids by painting the toe box white. But even then the chicago mid toe is like 150$ on stockx and that's still quite a bit of money for me. So i haven't made them yet. I'm also scared to mess them up. So i was wondering if maybe you could make me a pair of custom chicago 1s and how much i would have to pay. I hope you have a great day!

do you need transfer paper?
Yes. You can use a low tack masking tape if you dont have transfer tape. But it's alot harder

I think that would work. But that's heat transfer vinyl. I used oracle 651 vinyl.
Okay cool. I try with regular htv just to see how it will fit. And it's a little off. Shoe size 9.5
I went down a size and up a size and still off. Just like you said 2.3 and 0.9
