When the man from the crowd asked “who are the artists that aren’t understood yet that will eventually be” I know she wanted to say “me”. May her soul rest peacefully, she is a gift given to us by greater powers.
Yes, Autechre’s modern style is like surfing a wave of challenging, cutting edge exploration where crowd expectations combats the resulting output. I still hold them in the highest regard.
I like some of her musical work, but knowing that her physical work went into Warps early days as a label we are thankful. A terrible shame she’s gone so young. But she had a lucky life doing what she dreamed of doing. Most of us lot are up to our heads in shit. I think the days of musical culture are beginning to come to and end now. Especially electronic music cos electricity is too expensive :|

I'm glad these videos and her music will continue to live on and inspire others around the world
The news absolutely gutted me; it's been a wildly emotional ride going back and watching all her old interviews.
Sad when you only find an artist via their obituary. Sad. A journey ends another begins. C'est la vie. RIP Chantal. Best to your family & friends.
Same with me. Now I'm hooked on her music.
Such a breath of fresh air she brought to music.
Rest easy , you will live forever in our hearts and ears.
R.I.P :(
You are missed..Your music stays in my crates..period..
Which artist name is she saying at 23.38 ?
just spotted Ed Handley of Plaid out in the audience.
She's right about Autechre
100%

RIP :'-( Xx
RIP :(
Rest in Peace
I'm going to watch her Boiler Room dj set after this, beats Star Trek reruns on Netflix, even though I fancy Captain Janaway.
Ps. Anyone else find this interviewer slightly hostile and a tad patronising?
poor woman is dead R.IP
rest in peace
