Not quite single-handedly but enough to be mentioned and praised, this man has continuously inspired and reinvigorated my passion & faith in modern film and reassured me that there are still spaces yet to be explored, cinematic experiences that are about to be probed, and maybe most exciting yet frustrating that the "greatest" film has yet to be made and never will be. That being, we'll consistently come across a new work of brilliant Cinema that seems to impress above all and be a landmark in film history and inevitability that will eventually be surpassed as well. Unfortunately, for those who think that film is dead & that it's never as good as it was, they just aren't looking hard enough.
man - i love the fact that Noe loves his movies. He could have just been a radical radical, but the fact he knows his shit makes me love him more. also - im drunk.
Fascinating how open and disclosing Gaspar is, and manages to remain throughout. Unfortunate sound mix, and it would have been a treat to be allowed the luxury of the actual film clips. Still, thanks for this.
thank u so much guys for uploading the video and the moderator is the best I've watched he gave so much time to talk unless so many interviews I've watched
just off of body language, you see how inflated the host's ego must be. Gaspar has to be the one to position his body to him, which is ridiculous considering he's the GUEST. i swear hosts/critics have this weird superiority complex when they haven't made one piece of respectable art in their lives...probably explains their overcompensation. but then again, who gives a f about my comment
Je pense un message pour toi je te parle avec toi la musique c'est pour moi c'est pas pour les femmes quand je vois tes nuits je vois la musique c'est la vérité c'est pas pour les femmes bientôt
quillftw 44 oh wait I take that back, I'm a jerk. for at least some clip references, there's no indication of what movies he's talking about. I understand now, sorry.
Gaspar about to give an album a 10
Gaspony Notano here

Enter the Void is the greatest opening credits ever!

I really appreciate this mans artistry.
The fact he’s a fan of Thomas Bangalter and Aphex Twin makes him a worthy pal, although his films are criminally insane.
Anthony Fantano called, he wants his flannel back.

The fine line between genius and insanity.

I love Gaspar He is so unique and brilliant!
Gaspar is a genius, but that interviewer made hard to watch this...
Fascinating how open and disclosing Gaspar is, and manages to remain throughout. Unfortunate sound mix, and it would have been a treat to be allowed the luxury of the actual film clips. Still, thanks for this.

Does anybody have a link to the Brian Reitzell RBMA radio show “music in film” ?
@30:05 - First the Fantano flannel. Secondly, this...
This host really gets on my nerves, I almost punched my screen

@@Michael-ld2np I do
He annoys me to in this conversation but you need to look up Brian Reitzell before thinking he hasn't done any notable work himself.
So they don't show the clip. great.
Was that Antony BamBamtano in the thumbnail?
yes dude!!
And he mentions 2001 Space Odyssey at the beginning as well
Hero Status!
Brian Reitzell has the same voice as Glenn Greenwald!
37:07 "Sound Designey" hahaha who let this man interview Gaspar
What was the clip they showed at the end from?

quillftw 44 speaking for people who've seen the films, I don't need that. you can go ahead and make an effort to see the films on your own.
quillftw 44 oh wait I take that back, I'm a jerk. for at least some clip references, there's no indication of what movies he's talking about. I understand now, sorry.
quillftw 44 Wow now I'm a jerk again for the prior comment because the clip references are in the video description.
17:00 omg this guy is so annoying
