Been a long time here in SW Florida since I was able to get this close to a deep piling due to winds and currents. congrats on the success so far Omar!
Sorry for the late reply brother. I thought I had replied. I’m just glad to see you back on the water. I’ll be catching up on your last couple of vids here soon.
I'll be kayak fishing (for the first time ever) at the 331 bridge. I'll be setting myself off at the North Eden Park park. What would you recommend using?
I mainly use artificial lures. Right now I would throw a 3” paddletail on a 1/8 or 1/4 oz jig and probably an artificial shrimp(I prefer a vudu in a natural color. If going live bait I believe some sheepshead may still be hanging around so fiddlers and/or live shrimp may do the trick. Redfish and trout will also eat a live shrimp. I’ve caught redfish and trout along the rocks and the bridge structure.
Hey Omar! What video glasses are you using? I just realized you were not wearing a head go pro mount and the video was super clear. I need to grab a pair. My yak arrives this week after a 3 month back log. When i get it all kitted up gonna hit you up so I can learn from the master. This is Veasley from Group HQ. I retired and i just hunt and fish now.
What up! I only run GoPros. The GoPro 11 Black is what I primarily use. Every now and then I mount a GoPro 8 to the front of the kayak. Sometimes I don’t bring the 8 but always have the mount so I’ll take the head mounted GoPro and put it on that front mount to get that footage. I’m hoping to get on the water in the next three weeks. After that I won’t be on the water until the end of May. Feel free to hit me up. You can also find me on Instagram and shoot me a message @oa_fishing_

@@oafishing all good! Keep slaying!
Nice flat day on the bay. Appreciate the entertainment!
Thanks Bro! Finally some calm conditions. I definitely enjoyed this trip.
Awesome battle Omar! What a tank.
Thank Joe! Now I just need a redfish that size!
was that today ???? nice job
Thanks! It was on Wednesday.
Bay Baits did not have any live bait. I tried the paddle jig. Caught one, but it spit it out.
That’s unfortunate. The fishing should be picking up with this warm weather and baitfish moving in.
Have they started charging a toll for using the area under the bridge yet?
That HOSS should be required to have FL #s and a current registration
Hahaha no doubt!

Looks like frozen shrimp work better
They get it done when the water temps are down.
The chili peppers would be proud
😂😂
Man! Hit ya like a freight train! Bet the bay dropped a couple feet when you pulled that toad out.
People may frown on big uglies but they are so much fun to catch when they’re that big. The water levels are already low enough haha
