    I think this may be a game changer for me. I am suffering terrible with plantar fasciitis. When do you know to add load to this exercise? When ready, do you simply incorporate it into your regular squat,deadlift etc routine?

      Glad you found this video! Work on this exercise unloaded and without movement to start (for example, just standing in place), then progress to loaded bodyweight movements (squats, lunges, single leg RDLs, etc.), then progress to loaded movements with external weight. These progressions should happen over the course of weeks/months so you can slowly build strength and tissue resiliency. Tissue adaptations take time. Also, we recommend looking into our other videos for plantar fasciitis. Here are a couple:

      @@MovementUpgraded thank you , you sweet angel person. I actually recently discovered your work via Steph Gadreau’s podcast. Mildly obsessed with your content. I keep telling all my friends who are stuck in diet culture fads and workouts that being able have freedom of movement is way sexier than trying to achieve a thigh gap. Thank you so much for responding. I appreciate you.

    Hello I'm 1,70 cm , 20 year old and i have very very short feet my size are 36 so i can Correct them or no ???

      Hello, the title of this exercise "short foot" is not meant to be taken as literal as "it increases foot size." In fact, it's very unlikely to increase the size of your feet the way you want through an exercise. This exercise is to work on building strength of your foot muscles to better maintain an arch in the foot - it would be great for those with flattened feet. We wish you the best.

      @@MovementUpgraded me i have scoliosis so it's the cause that i have small feet , but now with chiropractic I will be fine with no scoliosis , Maybe massage foot and other exercise can stretch The muscle And My feet grow a little , so if you have seen one like this before , she can Stabilize her feet or No ???

    • @MovementUpgraded
      @MovementUpgraded  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kimouelmatador1510 Scoliosis doesn't cause small feet and it's unlikely to increase your foot size via exercises/stretches. We know that this may not be what you want to hear. This exercise is for stabilizing the foot's arch and strengthening the foot's muscles, so if you have plantar fasciitis, weak foot muscles, or flat feet, this exercise may help you.

    This completely ignored the Windlass Mechanism…

    • @MovementUpgraded
      @MovementUpgraded  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Correct, because that wasn't the point of this video. Just because we didn't talk about it (in a video that isn't about that mechanism), doesn't mean that we ignore it.
