Dragon Quest Retrospective - The granddaddy of JRPGS

This is where it all began, the first JRPG, Dragon Quest. I have finally got to start playing this amazing series and I wanted to do a little retrospective on it.

I picked up Dragon Warrior Monsters during the Pokemon craze when I was a kids and fell in love with the series, and still consider DWM one of my favorite GBC games to this day. For the main series, I love the Zenithia trilogy of 4-6 that was remade on the DS best, but every Dragon Quest has its own charm. The first one’s charm is the how simple and straightforward it is.
I’m so glad that Dragon Quest has caught on in the US since XI and Builders. Hopefully the later games get freed from the DS/3DS soon.

Great video! Glad this popped up for me. And it’s crazy, I randomly got into this series when I traded a copy of pokemon red to my friend for DW1+2 on GBC and fell in love with the games. It’s always great to hear people get into the series since it’s held such a special place in my life

Hey mate. I have taken them down and just left the podcast on normal podcast sites. I got told it can wreck my optics having both podcast and videos together
