For the first question regarding standard envelope, I think we have to understand that tracking is just a perk. Because if you were to ship something outside of ebay and pay for the stamp yourself, it actually costs 3 cents more and there is def no tracking that. So I dont really get too fussy about it because at the end of the day, you're paying $.63 for the labor costs of transporting something sometimes as far 3,000 miles away. My suggestion is to try to convince the buyer to wait a bit longer for cards to arrive. Some cards will take close to 2 weeks. I have yet to have a card actually get lost(i have had a few bounce back to me). Another suggestion and I have no proof to back this up is to consider using a different mailbox. When I first started, I noticed a lag in time when a client gets their cards too. Now I use a mailbox that is outside of a post office and I swear the turn around time has been insane. They both go to the same distribution center, but maybe different staff handle different boxes of mail. So play around with the different mailboxes.

I've been so very lucky with shipping PWE 1000's shipped this year and only 1 problem. USPS sent it back for insufficient postage I sent the buyer a full refund and sent it right back out next day it was received a week later.
I sent a buyer the wrong card the other day. I told him to return it and I would send him the right card. He got the label and it was sent. Ebay forced me to refund without getting my card back.. I gave them the refund and asked if he sent the card back. He said Yea I sent the card back but somehow it was return to me so I am keeping it. I was like you are keeping the card and the money? He said yea because it was the card he paid for. I was like yea you didn't pay for any card.. So now you have the card and the money. His next sentence was hilarious. If you send me the card I paid for I will send this one back.. I told him with his track record I was not sending him anything else to I got that card back. Needless to so I didn't get my card back. Turned out to be Maxie Baughan who just died a few days ago. It was his autographs.
@@Cjay819 he was supposed to send the one back so he got the card and got the refund. That’s not cool anyway that you look at it. Then he wants me to send him the right card after keeping that card and the money and says he will give me the card he was supposed to give me to start with. Just because I accidentally sent the wrong card doesn’t make it right for him to steal it. I didn’t send him a second card to keep for free. I wonder if he did something to my address that made it come back to him.
I've had 63 of the last 198 cards not track at all. Some arrived to the buyers. only know that because of feeback. A lot i had to refund and claim insurance. Hit my service metrics a little hard. Noticed a pointed slow down in quality traffic as soon as that happened. Never had a good experience since the service launched.
thats an insane percentage! interesting to me that it slowed down your traffic though since its not something thats your issue and doesnt show as that.
@TheFlippingSportsGuy it's tbe only thing that I can correlate the slow down to. It's been going on since January for me. Everytime I got the "you have a high number of items not received" email from eBay, it always followed with a slow down of sales for a few weeks. I've called ebay about it and they said it shouldn't slow it down either. My experience shows me it does effect traffic quality and sales. I've started using just a regular first Class lettermail envelope label bought directly from usps (with a slightly higher postage rate unfortunately) but the tracking has kept up and I've noticed an increase in traffic as more sales are converting and no new item not recieved cases coming in because of ebay standard envelope.

Im a desperate man over here and I ran across your channel and was like, ‘oh if there’s one man that may be able to crack this case, it could be this fella’. I am gonna call eBay for the 5th time tomorrow and hope they can finally help me, but it all depends on the person that answers the phone and how much effort they’re really putting into helping. On desktop, when I try to print the label, it says something like, “. Something went wrong when trying to generate your label” (I will tell you the exact message I get when I sell a card probably later today or tomorrow trying to use the standard envelope option. When I do it on mobile, I get the message “something went wrong try again later. That’s the exact message and I know it because I’m literally trying to generate a label as I’m typing on the mobile app. Anyways, I’m bleeding money over here and I just can’t seem to solve it. Any help would be so greatly appreciated.

same here i've had minimal issues. I've refunded less than 10 customers this year, and filed insurance claim on all, so no losses
