Man I was anxious for this review. The mic impressed me with the volume, the noise cancelling is not very good, but because it does a great job on raising the volume of the voice when David talked, it was kind of okay.
Overall I'm impressed though. It's awesome to know there is now decent options of a true wireless earbud with dongle and Teams/zoom/etc certified

So glad you managed to get your hands on this early on and do a review. I am quite puzzled why none of the manufactures have made wireless earbuds with a dongle connector. It seems like an immediate buy for anyone who currently uses a bluetooth earbud with a windows PC. This makes even more sense when you realise that all the gaming headsets require a dongle - meaning the problem is obvious and this zone true wireless earbuds is the only one in the market! The price does suck though…

Great my go to channel to get exact info I always foor in the heqdsets and for me the noise cancellation of the mic is the most important factor as I drive a lot and I eed to a mic that can let other side feell noise free from my side (only my voice) I would suggest adding a driving test of road noise cancellation test for headsets mics and also having people in the car along with the road noise. Also another use case for me is to connect headsets to phones directly or via different sort of connectors such as USB C or lightning connector for iPhones.

They look etremely similar to the Jaybird Vista earbuds in many ways. The case looks the same, the custom gels too. I wonder if they are made by the same manufacturer. In terms of the microphone quality they don't sound as good as the Jabra Elite 7 or the Airpods Pro. Great video as always.

After listening to the mic test I have to say I'm bitterly disappointed in how they performed. The technology they are claiming in marketing, in terms of directional mics, aligns with the technology of the poly 8200uc , which I have. And the 8200s are far superior in eliminating background noise. I was really looking forward to these but will continue with my polys. Thanks for the vid. Keep it going!

Just got mine and both the mic and sound quality is servicable but lacking especially for the price but they are the only game in town for now (certifications for the Teams, etc). Agree that the battery case should have contained a slot for the USB adapter since this is aimed for work and on the go or they need to reduce the size of the adapter so it can be kept plugged into laptop while reducing the risk of it being lost or damaged.

Expected more from that mic noise cancellation… The noise keeps going into the call even though the voice is quite clear, but it does create a lot of disturbance when there is external noise in the meetings. I don’t think this ones are suitable for an open space as I was expecting 😔 I guess I will have to keep messing my hair around with my olds Jabra Evolve 75.

    • @HeadsetAdvisor

Hi Alejandro, we hoped there would be more mic noise cancellation as well. I'm really looking more for my voice to come in very clear and reduce background noise when I'm on phone calls, not so much for use on the computer. If I've got the shower running or the exhaust fan going when I walk into the bathroom, or if I'm washing dishes, or have to run the vacuum, or I'm walking out in the very busy and noisy NYC streets with construction going and traffic, or outside in the streets on a windy day, I need true wireless earbuds that are still going to pick my voice up very clean and clearly for the other person to hear me well on my phone calls.
So far I haven't found anything that can match or exceed the call quality for my Sennheiser Presence, single sided Bluetooth headset. I was really looking for call quality that can match, or exceed, that high bar in true wireless earbuds.

Super disappointed in the microphone test. The microphone was way too hot and was clipping your voice in a quiet environment. In fact the microphone sounded way overdriven and I and I don’t believe that was you were always level. That’s annoying. I’m wondering if there’s some other settings that can tone the microphone down a little bit so that you got a little richer tone?

Hey Bryan, we were hoping the microphone performance was going to come out better too, but it was about the same as most other earbuds we've tested. There's no way we're aware of to adjust the microphone tone.
Maybe there's a third party app out there that would allow that.

@@HeadsetAdvisor Thank you for taking the time to respond. Very kind of you. I appreciate the time you took in the review. Notably the Jabra elite for 75 bucks sounded twice as good in the microphone test. Probably my number one axe grind on a lot of these earbuds is they don’t have a mute button for a call. …And I’m pointing at you Apple. It makes no sense. What I like about some of these like Jabra and the logitech‘s is they do have mute. One shouldn’t have to be tethered to a phone to be able to mute microphone audio during a call.

IMO - These are not for me as I am often taking calls in a loud environment.

Makes sense. Definitely not best for those who need mic noise cancellation.

It always shocks me how very poor products get marketed for a specific use case and ACTUALLY sell while there are many others that aren't marketed as good with waaay better quality and less price point.
The ANC quality is very poor compared to 1more comfobuds pro or elecov clear which are 3rd the price

Hi Michael, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Sorry to hear they're not comfortable for you. Comfort is a tough subject because everyones preferences and what they find comfortable differs.

I think the mic quality is still far from good (enough - for professional calls), way too distorted.

These are dissapointing earbuds... distance is extremely limited. Unanswered incoming Teams call knocks out the sound in the left earbud until I pull them out and put them back in my ears. I am so dissapointed in these its not funny. My reglar airpods connect better over a distance 3 times as far (40 ft). Tribits for $60 worked better. I am going to return these for a refund if I can....

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We found the mic to be about the same as most of the higher end earbuds but you get the addition of better connectivity and integrations to computer call apps.
