    1.In the part interface, you can hold the "shift" and move your cursor over the triad over one of the axis and click that axis ("doesn't matter x or y or z)and it will rotate the body every 90 degrees, similarly if you hold "alt" it will be 15 degrees, and "ctrl" key for 180 degrees.
    2. To make a reference plane quickly, you can hold the "ctrl" and hover your cursor over the edges of existing plane( front or top or right) , then you can make a new plane just by dragging from those edges at a distance normal to the existing one.
    3. Use shift+c to collapse the feature tree.
    PS: I loved the tip for the "D " key. I was searching for that green check mark which I always loose when i move the cursor. Really saves a lot of time.

      true! Good ones. The D key was the best wasn't it? so simple! But yet won the competition

    Hello Aryan,
    I wanted to tell you that I really admire your work, I can't wait to see more videos.
    I also had 3 suggestions/ideas/questions for your next videos.
    First, could you talk about the sheet metal module, you never talked about it I think
    Secondly, could you talk about how to organize our parts, assemblies, drawings in a folder
    Third, question, is it better to work in an assembly, or to work part by part ?

    • @with-Aryan
      @with-Aryan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it's better to work in the multi-body mode first then assembly

    Another way is to hold the Alt key down when your mouse cursor is over your actual sketch you are extruding (not the extruded preview) and just slightly move the mouse. You will then have your original mouse icon cursor appear so you can right click to accept or confirm.

    • @with-Aryan
      @with-Aryan  ปีที่แล้ว

      yes, but it doesn't work everywhere e.g. sketches

    Advance Assembly Tips-
    While working with a huge number of Components in assembly its harder to edit an individual component .
    Tip 1- ISOLATE one or multiple components you need to work with.
    Tip 2- Sometimes we need to create a sketch but can't see the face due to overlapping of another or multiple component so use SECTION PLANE & Exclude the component you are editing.
    Tip 3- in assembly grab the reference plane, surface or do convert entities then open the part in separate window now you can use these references & edit your components accordingly,
    Tip 4- if you create a part with many features & you want to create another with same features but exact Mirror aswellas linked to original part ,use MIRROR in assembly mode and create separate part with different name or you can create mirror configuration.
    TIP 5- Use MULTI BODY part wisely instead of subassembly. this will solve managing the mates & references.
    TIP 6- If you are using same parts more often like linear Bush, Pneumatic Cylinders,Caster wheels,etc which need mounting holes , Clearance hole etc to transfer another parts use SMART COMPONENT .
    This will take some time at first to create smart component but saves time each time you need it.
    Tip 7- Use REORGANIZE COMPONENTS feature to Arrange components in long feature tree in assembly mode.
    Other common tips- Shit+C to Collapse feature tree
    - Use Tab key to hide components, shift+Tab at same cursor location to unhide component.
    -
    Last tip - as an example if you create a simple rectangular plate with thickness of any .now you need to insert Fillets at all corners first you have to click on an edge then you rotate the part a little and select another edge now you see a edge selection popup where you can select any of them but the trick is to get this popup when you are at first edge.
    Just select first edge then click the same edge to deselect & then reselect the same edge , you will see the popup & all four edges can be selected without rotating the part.
    There are many tips for productivity.
    I always combine & take advantage of them.
    Love from INDIA ❤

    Feels like the tip didn't deserve 1st price.
    The command could be easily accomplished by just pressing enter or escape to cancel.
    Instead there were many other good tips that could get 1st price. 2nd one deserves the 1st price.
