    Thank you. For me, the tip about editing sketch pattern was the usefull one.
    By the way, instead of right clicking + select midpoint, you can just select the line and solidworks allows you match center line with the point from the context menu. It is more efficient.

    Sketching a rectangles center to match the coordinate system typically depends on how the part will be mated and used in the next level assembly. Both methods have their place.

    Arc to Line works also ("A"-key). Also, the tangency can be controlled easily. No need to press Escape. Simply return to the start point and move the mouse in a different direction. There are three solution: tangent, complementary tangent and center of the arc coincident to the line. You might want to update the video. :)

    Hi Ryan. I greet you from Mexico. Thanks for the tips. I ask: in solidwrks, how can I constrain a reference point? That is, in a solid body I fix a reference point and constrain it, is it allowed? Can you enlighten me? Thank you.

    • @with-Aryan
      @with-Aryan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      im not sure what you are trying to do with it once it's constrainted cause it matters but you can right click on it and FIX it. i need more info

    • @alcidesgarcia7118
      @alcidesgarcia7118 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The idea is as follows: Imagine a tube with a diameter of 8 inches and a length of 12 meters. This tube is supported on its lower bed at 5 points and its upper bed supports a pressure of 6,000 kg/m2. I need to determine the reaction force at each point where the pipe rests. Now, the tube is a solid element and my idea is to place 5 reference points on it and constrain those points to obtain the reaction forces. Solidworks allows constraining reference points? And if it allows it, how to do it? I have tried it and it does not allow me, it only allows me to apply point loads at the reference points. Thanks.
