I know it was a bad idea to pull out the end of the baseball bat because of the bleeding, but I can imagine that a having an object in your abdominal wall while you try to move would be very very painful.. especially getting up on a horse where there's a lot of twisting and compression involved.
A trauma doctor who reacted to this episode pretty much said the same, the reason you are taught to keep it in the wound, is so that it can be taken out in controlled environment where the wound can be treated immediately by a professional, that's not even remotely an option for Joel here so he might aswell remove it immediately to avoid it causing even more damage. 🤷♂
@@RaXXha Yeah, anatomically, there's the external oblique muscles that are very taunt when standing and help us to twist at the waist. Any sort of movement with that bat handle imbedded in the obliques would cause a great amount of pain whenever Joel tried to bend or pivot. Getting up on the horse would've been near impossible for him without removing the handle. People who watch shows and movies have learned that "if you remove the object, you'll bleed out" but what most of the shows don't tell us is how our bodies simply can't move or "do things" when we have an object interfering with motion.
some of the small things they changed are kind of fun about this episode too. In the game Joel is the one who says "adios little brother", here it's Tommy who wishes his big brother farewell, which I think fits more seeing as how Joel has depart somewhere nice to go off again
3:45 Kansas City, Kansas. No worries not knowing. No American nor someone outside of their own country should realistically know, and expect others to know, every state/province in every country. Then we headed to Wymoing to finally reach Tommy in this episode, in Jackson, which is to the west side of the state. Locations from the show (from the start of Joel's journey until now in order): -Austin, Texas: The DEEP South of the United States. Joel and Tommy's home. Where they lived before the apocalypse and the site of Sarah's death. -Boston, Massachusetts: The far East coast, somewhat near where New York is. Where Joel and Tommy ended up after the apocaylpse. One of the bases of the Fire Flies and Marlene/Ellie's home city. Also the foundation of the United States revolution against the British. Some would say this is where America was founded. -Kansas City, Kansas/Missouri: A weird one for you both. A rural state, even now a days, with little population, which may be why it's easier for Tommy and his settlement to fight off the few that there are. To be clear, Joel and Ellie have now traveled the majority of the United States at this point with very few states Westward if they were to keep going straight West. -Boulder, Colorado: (briefly at the end of this episode in the university) a relatively shorter distance than what they've already traveled (although on horse back it would take awhile), it's about 530 KM (330 miles) South from Wyoming where Tommy's camp is. I don’t get why people get butt hurt about the communism scene. Communism working in a post apocalyptic world doesn’t mean it is making a statement about it in our world
@@bigpictureguys8415 Exactly, communism works fine for a town-size city state where everybody knows everybody and on top of that you grow and make most of your own stuff.
In this episode, the series, having come out after both games, shows two very important elements of the second game by integrating them perfectly into the story of the first. In fact, the city of Jackson is shown to us already built and populated as seen in the second chapter, when in fact in the first it was not in that advanced state, and the little girl who is seen hiding behind a pole, while Ellie is eating, is a very sweet easter egg for those who played TLOU Part 2, showing us something that was only told in the game :)
They initially intended on having the town of Jackson in the first game. but they could not make it happen due to time and budget reasons. They had even made some concept art for it. But ultimately we ended up seeing the town from a distance and visit the dam for the town.

I love how much thought you put into these reactions and your discussions before & after you watch. Definitely some of the best reactors i've seen, thank you for your videos!!
Episode 7 is the one of the best ones. Can't wait
I love your reactions and your conversations.
15:23 I'M WHEEZING BRO LMAO😂😂😂😂😂😂
this is the start of the "baby girl" window where lola and milena's baby girl senses will go overdrive.
stop spoiling
@@cliveklg7739 not really a spoiler considering they call characters they love “baby girl” and “my boy”
@@toxichawk5752 it is considering it happens 2 times and they are relevent. It is a gotcha spolier and there is no call for it.
@@cliveklg7739 It literally wasn't a spoiler until you said it was a spoiler.
@@Roxasxion1314 it was from the start, it was a gotcha mention of something upcome. That IS A SPOILER.
👍🏾 Y’all’s faces when Joel came back in the morning hahaha I think that was everyone’s reaction.
We need Milena to watch more suspense or scary shows/movies
You guys are the best reactors I swear, I love it 😂❤
The free version peasants like myself have been waiting for this!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Every episode is the best episode.
As a Texan when I heard the Kansas and Texas comment I was like is that how we're seen? Did the pause double blink
They need all the awards
Starting at 7:01, the lady in the glasses is correct. The show starts in Texas
I was so glad Joel wasn't injured in the exact same way as in the game. Whew.
I will give my life so Milena doesn’t have to.
You two are the best. Like my Serbian sisters. I’m from Arizona which is southwest of Colorado and south of Utah where Salt Lake City is located.
4:51 can relate hard to that statement... Although, Serbia not on our level whatsoever, so don't worry)
It fascinating to judge this show through non-gamer pov, but also through people with similar taste in storytelling and characters (Attack on Titan, Breaking Bad). Game already was a perfect movie/tv series in my opinion and the show improved only small aspect of the game re: episode 3.
I hope that Milena will get a Yale sweatshirt because that’s where Rory went to college.
Joel would never abandon Tommy. The whole journey for Joel to this point was to get to Tommy.
Girls I love you so much, you are so nice¡¡¡ I discovered your channel a few time ago and I cant stop watching your videos. When i see you crying I cry too hahaha
You guys are my favorite!! Can’t wait for the rest of the episodes 😅😇
even us in the US dont know the geography of all the US states lol. I'm on the west coast so I know all those but if i had to quiz Id fail a lot of of the east coast i think haha.
"I would like to see more of Marline..." (O_o) Oh you will, my sweet summer child.
just coming here to say that Succession is definitely one of the next shows you gotta watch
Kansas City proper, just to make it more difficult, is NOT in Kansas. It’s in Missouri lol. It’s Kansas City, MO. I’m one to know, having grown up there 🙂.
So, um, I'm a single guy that grew up during the cold War with 3 sisters, so I've always kept "feminine hygiene " products around the house and even include them in my bug out bag, for bare minimum of trade goods. Three sisters and a single mom...
Kansas City, Missouri
It’s probably been pointed out but Kansas City is in Missouri not Kansas.
You all are in it now
15:24 jajajaja
please bring more the last of us to the channel!! we love both of you
Boston => Kansas city => Wyoming, last known location of Tommy (Jackson)
Every reactor, " Don't pull it out!"
@20:51 -- that's the face of someone who's been taught that communism (and probably socialism too) is the same as totalitarianism.
I don’t get why people get butt hurt about the communism scene. Communism working in a post apocalyptic world doesn’t mean it is making a statement about it in our world
@@bigpictureguys8415 their butt hurt is a symptom of their indoctrination
@@bigpictureguys8415 Exactly, communism works fine for a town-size city state where everybody knows everybody and on top of that you grow and make most of your own stuff.
12:24 EREN YEAGER
Lola ❤❤❤
I would love you guys to watch a comedy series next. It’s going to be hilarious. Brooklyn Nine-Nine? Please?
Must feel like a long time ago (whimpers in non-Patreon). I am looking forward to the show with you two, but sad I can't watch it with you.
To answer your question no I didn’t know you guys taught me something. I’m a guy I have never needed to know
You ever live with a woman? Or have a long term relationship?
@@bigpictureguys8415 yes and yes
After the show, you should react to the trailers for the game The Last of Us Part I. Might be fun
15:23 LMAO!!!
what happened with episode 7? having issues with dmca?
16:38 Milena : Hehehehehe hehehehehe :''D
😯
😯👐My God! Don't do that to me!
Was it me that scared you? 😁
🤣🤣🤣
Literally no reason to say anything at all about part 2 in these comments.
😢 now we have to wait for a week for the next ep
did milena go to harvard?
haha where are these girls from, been wondering since their ATLA reactions. Also in 13:06 that scene is not in the game but I think there's a concept art of it right?
They're from Serbia
please do a reaction of the german show dark one day, is really great
If you ever visit Canada. You can visit any Indigenous community and meet all kinds of cute old cranky couples like them. And they will all treat and make you feel like part of the family before you leave.
Also, Kansas City is not in Kansas, its in Missouri. Why? Not a frickin clue. lol
Anyone know what Milena said at 6:42 ? i really want a translate xD
"We are actually going to Texas now"
@@TheNeptuneArc thank you ❤
Council communism is based
I just gonna warn you guys in advance, the next episodes hit really hard, especially episode 8 I find very difficult to watch, so try to prepare yourselves psychologically...
I knew what the menstrual cup was
Any guy who has lived with a woman knows.
I didn't until last year and I'm a woman 😅
@@bigpictureguys8415wasn't trying to brag.. they asked so I answered. Tip- don't behave this way because it causes people to dislike you
Jackson is in Wyoming. Colorado lies to the south.
More of the Last of Us, right on, keep it up good luck with spoiler free
Next episode!!!!
Thank god lola and mila didn't have to go through an american geography class.
Please watch succession
Not a good reaction show. It's too convoluted and it's not even a good show
love
jjaajajajajjaja vaya susto se llevo jajajajajajajaj
Dont worry- absolute nobody would know what state that was in. Probably midwest or Appalachians, but thats about it lol
It was filmed in Canada but was supposed to be Wyoming.
Next serie Succesion
❤❤
What county are you guys from:)?
