    It’s a pity that they didn’t say anything about creating music for the game, because for me this is the best audio accompaniment in the entire gaming industry. And every single melody from Gustavo is a masterpiece that fits perfectly with this story.

    Playing the first game with my dad was such an experience. When part 2 came out, my dad was going blind. So, I would be explaining to him what was going on. Him hearing Joel die and him telling me to do something and me telling him that I can’t and just accepting that he was dead was hard. My dad died a year later. But, we talked about if there was going to be a part 3. And we would come up with ideas of what would that be like. I hope there’s another part. That scene is obviosly not sexist, its just a depection of a brutal thing that often happens in reality, but the article fails to mention the director of that game, david cage, who absolutley is a misojynist, since in his previous game he got the team to created a fully nude and detailed model of eliot page (at the time ellen page, they transitioned) despite that specifically being against their contract.

      @user-nu9so2ki6w 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

      @@TheGamersGrotto No they didnt. nothing about this sentence functions as double entendre because that's not what that term means. Double entendre is when a single statement carries two (sometimes opposing) implications depending on how the sentence is approached. What actually happened here is that the OP typed a word according to how they've heard it spoken, which is a really common occurrence on the internet these days, probably because of modern illiteracy rates and the rise of podcasts/youtube. A decent example is how you sometimes see people write 'piqued' as 'peaked', or 'should-of' instead of 'should have'. I've seen a person write 'esque' as 'esk'. 'Debree' is another one. 'Milk toast'. 'All intensive purposes'.
      I understand it sounds insulting or elitist to point these things out, but I think everybody should be concerned with how people's writing ability is diminishing in a world in which we read little beyond government letters and internet posts. It being a social faux pas to correct people for these sorts of language failures (i.e., your comment to me), means that the vast majority of people who write incorrectly are wholly content in doing so and feel no personal issue with it, which carries bleak implications
      also the term you're looking for is homophone, not double entendre

      Here's a better storyline. Joel gets rectal cancer after TLoU 1. After much hesitation, he seeks contact with the Firefly healthcare system who are the only ones powerful enough to potentially help him. There he learns that the surgeon he killed (Abby's dad) was the only one who could have potentially helped him. Knowing he is dying with no one who can help him, he moves in with Frank and Billy, getting hammered drunk most of the time and watching whatever soap operas he can find on DVD until he meets his inevitable demise. Billy plays "Funeral of Queen Mary" on the piano while they mourn him.
      Meanwhile, Ellie remains in Jacksonville and gets depressed about Joel's condition and death. Abby arrives, looking to get revenge for her father, but open learning that Joel is already dead, she and her crew builds a Disc Golf course in Jacksonville instead and challenge Ellie on a skins game disc golf match. The end.

      I think, legally, this should only be allowed if the people doing this have sufficient rev share from the final product. There's a lot of outright lies in this video. The real production of TLOU2 was a The Room-esque disaster offset by heavy Sony funding.
      That inherently disqualifies it from even *being* a Making Of.

When I did go out, the entire city was empty, walking through the streets and not finding anyone. I don't know if this is something that could work for you, but I'm kind of in the same boat. I can't play these games again, even though they're probably (TLOU and TLOU2) both in my Top 5 of all time, from the HUNDREDS I've played.
      But what I love doing is watching other people experiencing these games for the first time (playthroughs). If you do however, I suggest looking for playthroughs in the past ~2 years, as the first year was riddled with people who were only playing it for views and didn't really care about the story, making the experience much less enjoyable
      Watching these give me these same feelings again, without having to play them again. It's a win-win :D

    Almost 12 years ago now I was at a friend's house who's brother was playing uncharted 2, my eyes were glued and I couldn't believe what I was seeing, the only games I played were Wii sports or Mario kart. That Christmas I begged my parents for a PS3 with uncharted, and thanks to my kind parents I beat uncharted 1 and 2 that Christmas day/night. Your games are the reason I fell in love with games, they showed me the power of art, you have inspired me to tell stories of my own as I work to get a degree in filmmaking/screen writing and embark on my journey to make people feel the way you made me feel as an 8 year old hiding down stairs playing uncharted 2.
    I've suffered waiting for each one of your games since haha. I always manage to have butterfly's as I finally put in that new disc and see the new naughty dog game pop on my screen because I know I'm about to experience something I never have before. You've managed to raise the bar each game you make and somehow you keep beating the bar you have made.
