Hello everyone! I hope you enjoy this little compilation episode of the PokéNational Shorts. I plan on doing this every couple months or so as I keep making these so get ready for more!
Now I just need to decide which Pokémon I do next!
You had some solid first picks! Keep up the good work!
do you take requests?? because I would love a trubbish animation :)
@childeofepickness3738 trubbish would be pretty sick with his weird lil arms. Both forms of wooper would probably be a smash hit
@@blainesteeves-dj9en omg yes a wooper one would be so cute
I'd love to see slowpoke or bulbasaur done in this style :)
the narrator did not have to go that hard on Magikarp 💀
My favorite thing to do after reaching the elite 4 would be to get a magikarp to level 100, teach it tackle (depending on the game, or was splash and use struggle) to annihilate the elite 4. Cannot imagine a more embarrassing thing, to be the best of the best in the region, and to be beaten by one of the weakest pokemon lmao
he absolutely roasted the poor guys
@@Suzuki_Hiakurathis is already been proven impossible at least in gen 1 games
@@Suzuki_Hiakurait's level 100 so doesn't count
Lmao right 😂
I like how the narrator sticks to the Pokémon lore and absolutely roasts the Magikarp🤣
It was personal
Magikarp so cute ❤ my favorite Pokémon got roasted 😢 he didn’t deserve that kind of treatment
The amount of disrespect to Magikarp is just rude.
Pokemon lore says magikarp jump over mountains and have killed people from landing on them at terminal velocity
@@Eevee860 magikarp lore is based on a Chinese mythology when a lone Karp that overcome a harsh waterfall through sheer will and determination that the gods were impressed by it that they turned him into a dragon
I’m actually shocked that Pokémon doesn’t have an ongoing series like this. I’d definitely watch!
I’ve been hoping Pokémon would have done it by now but still no
The Pokémon Company will never do anything they don’t absolutely need to do in order to release the exact same game for 20 years.
@@Gouka07 TPC is responsible for merchandise and stuff, so what do they have to do with the games exactly? And how is it relevant to the video and comment in question? But I guess Pokemon "fans" can't go one day without hating on the series.
@@Gouka07it’s closer to 30 😂
This would cost way more money than they’d even be willing to imagine spending
The contrast between Mr. Attenbo... I mean Mr. Morgan's soothing voice and the violence of magicarp's slander was so unexpected I made me maniacally laugh in the middle of the night. Still, poor pokémon... 😢
They have longstanding beef
@@EliousEntertainment did he get repeatedly used as a landing pad by Magicarp falling from the sky?
Its giving me the Game Changer bit of "David Attenborough hates toads"
It's not slander if it's true.
Saying true things to make you dislike a person is technically detraction.
@@marvalice3455 given that the rare case of orbital Magicarp is a thing such a stance is definitely untrue.
That Magikarp bashing in the second episode had me dying of laughter.
Man made it personal as if he was gifted that as his first pokemon when he was a kid. 😂
I was really expecting something about Garadyos.
To be fair, the pokedex roasts the shit out of magikarp as well
You are an NPC
Same
I love how all this is played straight until Magicarp. Everyone else gets a dignified entry before and after him.
Except Mimikyu also got “fake af” XD Both cracked me up
Magikarp was literally 1 to 1 dubbing of its pokedex entries, yep, their Pokedex entries are that cruel :(
@@Savyflores
The long pause makes it better
@@anon2447 I'm disappointed in the Pokedex entries in regards to Magikarp. Tf, man. IT AIN'T USELESS.
"Fake AF" in an upper class British accent had me dying 🤣
fr lmao
He said it just as I read your comment lmao it was perfect
Ye same
@@caseking3656I love it when that happens.
The way Mimikyu moves under the cloth was really well done, it really captured the concept of how what we see on the outside is a facade
Thank you
Yeah, for some reason i also really liked that his cover is somewhat transparent so you can almost see the form of his real appeareance inside the cloth without actually seeing anything
I like to imagine the people in this universe watching a youtube series called "National Geographic" about giraffes, cheetahs, and pigeons and thinking "Woah these creatures are MESSED UP"
Really though, this was absolutely fantastic!
People in the pokemon world freaking out over dinosaurs
Let's hope they don't learn about dolphins
@Ditto.007 ahh the dolphin copy pasta
It's kind of bonkers once you realize that every piece of pokemon media could actually exist in that universe. It's not crazy in our world to have games like petz or nintendogs, we have boardgames that simulate battles, I'm sure no one would find a movie about a dog being a detective that abnormal.
they're gonna see a platypus and go wild
This is absolutely the best piece of fan made Pokemon content ever, I need an hour long documentary
Thank you very much!
I truly appreciate you maintaining the tone of Magikarp's Pokedex entries for this video. I always thought it was hilarious how mean they were
Thank you for knowing I wasn’t just roasting magikarp and that the Pokédex does it too😅
Baltoy: "...Very cool."
Claydol: "Thanks m8."
I'm in love with this, this better be a real show in the future
Let’s hope Pokémon takes the hint!
Would love that, each episode could take a glance at each biome in the pokemon regions and show us the variety of different pokemon in each
I could literally watch this ALL DAY, its like a miracle
@@EliousEntertainment That's why you did that, for people to "take a hint"?
Good to know your true intentions.
@@NuiYabukothought you did something there didn’t you 🤡 😂
It's all fun and games until that Magikarp evolves into Gyarados and destroys a few underdeveloped coastal villages.
When Pokemon are put into a realistic perspective, you've got to admit, it would be wild scary to just run into some of these guys in the wild, lol
I would be terrified to go outside sometimes
No WONDER the people of Hisui were so wary.
"Mimikyu's actual appearance is Unown"
I freaking knew it.
The narrator absolutely TORE MAGIKARP TO SHREDS
Why you gotta do my boy like that
Awesome work! Felt like a real NatGeo production!
I bet Magikarp are weaker now from ancient Trainers/Breeders inbreeding them en masse to get a shiny as quickly as possible. All non-shines were released and now they've degenerated.
The tragedy of Magikarp
thats a really good headcanon
@@EliousEntertainmenttragekarp
I thought maybe he was slyly referencing some possible reduction in their stats over the generations (though I don’t know why Game Freak would nerf Magikarp of all Pokémon lol)
This was extremely impressive. Not only were the renders fantastic but I really enjoyed the mock documentary aspect of showing them! Can't wait to see more
After all that smack talk about Magikarp I was really hoping that a Gyarados would lung out and attack the camera.
This was incredible, it felt so informative and the textures on the pokemon were fantastic, this would be something that I could genuinely believe people would watch in their pastime, well done!
Thanks so much!
So much hate for poor Magikarp, loool. I think my fave thing is the texture on Mimikyu. Well done overall!
Thank you!
I mean, Magikarp is useless and pathetic, is part of its charm
I’m convinced this is a real show in Pokémon world
Same
Put on by Pokestar studios
Pokémon needs to let you make a series out of this completely. Or you need to do your own fan made series because I love this type of stuff. Amazing.🎉
It’s definitely a goal to make a full series of this one day!
@@EliousEntertainmentin that case, color me subscribed ✅
You know you were wrong for that Magikarp slander. Even if it is weak such contempt is uncalled for 😭😭
It’s personal don’t worry about it
As funny as it is, magikarp’s pokédex entries are actually like that though 💀
It’s wild!
I've wanted a series like this for years
Never stop making these please. I need a full 10 season to binge watch
How do this not have more views?! This is absolutely fantastic!
Thank you!
1:56 damn someone regrets their ¥500 Magikarp purchase
This is brilliant! The Cubone skulls were a nice touch.
Thank you! That skull was actually me testing if I could make it look good for a possible cubone episode in the future!
@@EliousEntertainment Cubone is a favorite so that would be awesome, also any appearance of Ivysaur would be appreciated.
If this was a full length television show I’d watch it! This would be so cool as a series!
Brilliantly done! The rendering of the folding of the Mimiku’s costume as it deflated was seamless. Well done!
Thank you very much!
@@EliousEntertainment It is "FAKE AF!" (really did not expect that in your video xD)
So hype to see where this goes!
This is my Roman Empire.
But seriously this is literally some of the best content on the internet, keep it up :)
DAVID ATTEMBROUGH POKÉMON HELL YEAH
Hell yeah!
Magikarp doesnt deserve this slander
He does
Very interesting narration with so few pokemon, imagine a whole world.
Damn you didn't have to keep violating magikarp like that 💀😭😂
I did
You need to partner with The Pokémon Company to make more of these! It's amazing! You rly have a talent at bringing out childhood dreams to life!
I would love to do that! And thank you
My dude!
This is amazing!
I would love a real documentary of Pokémon just like this!
Send this to National Geographic, they would love it!
The textures and colouration of the pokémon in these shorts are AMAZING, and so much so that I spent several minutes just on the beginning of this episode enjoying the detail put into not only the pokémon, but their interactions with each other and their environment as well.
Such an example, so much as I feel like Magnemite could be less textured (metal can be pretty amazingly smooth, and these are magical creatures we're talking about, at base), its metallic iris was a gorgeous addition. And my God, that Phantump's iris edge as seen by 3/4 view!
I am extremely impressed by the Baltoy section in particular. The renders were believably textured and the use of heat distortion was outstanding. I think some of your renders looked more realistic than some of the Pokémon in Detective Pikachu.
Sounded like Eleven Labs was used for the voice (good choice).
I run a Pokemon tabletop game and finding this really helps set the in game background atmosphere and other things
these are just wonderfully made i really do love and enjoy your work
Thank you for the support!
And a Pokémon tabletop game sounds really cool! Is it like a d&d type of RPG or something else?
A tabletop pokemon game? You have all my atention
@EliousEntertainment Yes kind of like D&D but with its mechanics that can be kind of intense for newcomers to tabletop games
But if you are interested in it look up Pokemon tabletop United here on TH-cam
Although the Pokemon Live Action Movie had good texture render, this is what I would expect how Pokemon would look like if it were real. Fantastic job!
Ah man, already right off the bat I was mesmerized by how you made the Baltoy! The way each body segment moved separately, yet still in union. The environments are also well done!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
The claydol one should have been claymation
That’s an interesting idea!
These models look great. Very well done. Usually these videos are dull and have no care but you definitely changed that.
Thank you very much!
i am absolutely in love with this mockumentary I NEED MOREE
I never thought I needed Pokemon NatGeo until now. This looks amazing.
I always hoped someone would bring a video like this to life. Well done!
Thank you!
MORE!!! this was so good and fun to watch!
More is coming!
This is what we have all been waiting for.
Instantly binged and subbed. PLEASE DO MORE! These are seriously well done, both in terms of art and writing.
Nintendo: My, what a wonderful and artistic fan content you have there! It would be a shame if it were to... disappear from the web... forever.
Seriously though, I LOVE IT! I'd love to see more!
Don’t jinx it! And also Glad you like the work!
Your channel is about to blow up. The best pokemon content on TH-cam.
I need more of these videos in my life. Absolutely love the creativity here- makes my childhood dream of pokemon being real come true
That Phantump at the beginning tricked me into thinking these were gonna be practical effects. It looked so much like a puppet! I hope that sounds like a compliment, because I really was impressed.
Starting in Route 111 made me hope we’d see Cacnea 😢.
Cacnea may be in a future upload so don’t worry!
this is very entertaining!! pls make more
Gotcha!
I pay my internet for this kind of content. Great work! I hope to see more of this amazing videos in the future
More to come in the future!
I’m so happy Claydoll was put in this video.
It’s often forgotten but it’s one of my favorite Pokémon.
They captured him perfectly too.
To me, claydoll gives the creepiest vibes and I LOVE IT
This is incredible
Edit: Poor Magikarp. I think we need a less intense descriptor than "pathetic". I love our Karpy boi.
Thank you!
Amazingly well done. TH-cam did well in recommending me this. And I hope it'll become a series.
I hope so too!
Leave my boy Magikarp alone. He's done nothing wrong
Please I need a whole series. I can just watch this all night while having my fireplace on. Relaxing with some hot coco
any appreciation for baltoy and claydol makes anyone instantly awesome
Holly crap, this is amazing! This came up in my feed and after watching it thought this has to be some official Pokémon channel or something! I’m definitely hooked and looking forward to more!
Glad you like it! More is on the way!
I love Baltoy and Claydoll
Same!
Love this. Absolutely love it, just what I want from the pokemon universe; more realism. Can't wait for more.
Imagine if David Attenborough just broke character to roast koalas for 60 seconds. That's what happened to that poor Magikarp
so rude to magikarp 💔 but i really loved this animation! i'd love to see more if you ever plan on continuing--
he just said "fake AF" while i was typing and i started cackling LMAOOO
They should have the narrator roast animals in actual documentaries
It would be hilarious
I will seriously watch every episode of this!
The Magikarp/Mola Mola bit is a really classy reference. Masterpiece.
You'd think this would have been a thing in all these years of pokemon, great idea we need full length videos of this!
More to come!
As a fan of both National Geographic and Pokemon, I think this idea is awesome !!
I wonder what pokemon you're going to do next... Will we get to see any shinies ?
I’m thinking about either doing Diglett or Koffing next! As for shiney’s I wanna give them their own episode so that might not be for a while
@EliousEntertainment I'd say Koffing would be a nice choice cuz you've already done a ground type, so it'll be nice to give a Poison type time to shine
I would unironically watch this more. Just MOAR
YT algo winning with this one. Nicely done OP
Have you thought about turning this into an actual series
Maybe one day
I'd love it if this was an official series! Surprised GF hasn't done something similar yet tbh. Great work, especially on the textures of the 'mons. Super realistic, felt like a real nature documentary.
Gamfreak is only in charge of making the main series video games and designing the new Pokémon.
Everything else is TPC
1:58 “so empty-headed”, and water type? Can only be Magikarp 😂❤
I never knew i needed this... *UNTIL NOW*
Magikarp did not deserve that-
If you knew what they did you’d agree
Hm, they sadly look too much like dolls or clay puppets, not realistic enough :/
That’s fair
I've never played a pokemon but this was very enjoyable.
Glad you enjoyed
Baltoy, Claydol, and Mimikyu are some of my favorite Pokémon! Makes me happy you did an animal planet style story on them.
This is great, subscribing so I don't miss new installments.
More is coming!
ネンドール大好きなので見れて嬉しい!
Can’t wait to see if you cover the legendaries/ mythicals
This popped up on my TH-cam page and wow I'm glad it did! That looked so real
NOOOOO!!! GIVE ME MORE! I need more! This was too good!
Also, my poor Magikarp, so much hate on my poor boy! 😭
PLEASE make this a series!!!
Next do The Lives Of Pokemon starring David Attenborough
Baltoy is my fave pokemon in the whole entire world and seeing this almost brought me to tears 😭♥︎ absolutely stunning
This is like national geographic but for pokémon this is awesome. Keep making these
This brought joy and wonder to my heart again after a hard day. Amazing work, and thank you.
Saw this on Facebook that someone shared and here I am. Loved every second and you now have a new sub ❤
Dude… this deserves like 100 million subscribers.
