The Yamato is probably my favourite weapon from the entire DMC series. It’s so versatile and all you pretty much need. It can do both close and far range.
Anyone else catch the doppleganger still fighting as Vergil is taunting at 1:27 ? Don't know about anyone else, but I'd definitely like to see more of that.

2 easy was to pary Fury, both use Beowolf first, just jump into him. you get an upgrade that transforms you into a hitbox while jumping. with practice you can easily knock them out of every dash/attack sequence second requires a bit of timing, but use either a lvl 0/1 uppercut. vergil actually turns to the fury and it's pretty effective once you get used to it a bonus one is to get aggressive, especially in Bloody Palace. aka Judgement Cut End. pop that off immediately, especially against multiple Furies, and you can easily make the energy back from attacking them while stunned. they can seem annoying for Vergil but with thos 3 tactics they got ALOT easier

How do you constantly counter the boss while it's attacking? I could understand if it's "Block" but doesn't the concentration needed just runs out if you use it?
Notice very carefully. He very briefly let's go of the lock on. Also, I think perfect dodges on vergil look like nero's table hopper, i.e., he seems to teleport. So even that can be done.

If you are talking about rapid slash then vergil while in sdt can keep chaining rapid slash but the input can get abit funny if you are dashing through enemys to quickly

It’s nowhere near as busted as it was in 4, it literally one shot bosses, in 5 it takes like 1/5 of the bosses health when you are in SDT

you need to lock on+back and foward+trick bottom, you can only spam trick dodge like this, normal trick dodge have some delay

That is not trick dodge, that's trick dawn.
Just practice really. Once you get used to the timing, you can pretty much throw it out whenever you want.

He's just using Doppelganger as you would normally, he's just using the taunt to not move Vergil at the same time. Same way you can do that way V.
Whatever button he presses the doppelganger does regardless if vergil is moving or not, hell he can have it do JCs during EX provocation

Same way as you do with Dante. If your attack hits Cavaliere's at the same time, it parries Cavaliere back.
