Forget audiobook, this should be adapted into a full on play. The chemistry is just as strong as it was all those years ago, incredible stuff
What’s fascinating is that about half way into this reading “Garaks” pitch begins to go higher and sound more like that of when he was on DS9 and “Bashir” accent begins to change into a cadence and tone more like that of when he was on DS9 - it’s quite lovely hearing this and actually hearing them drift into character ❤
You're absolutely right, everything clicked so nicely when they hit the right accent

A good friend of mine once gave me this novel as a birhtday present. I am glad that Andrew Robinson dug that deep into the character of Garak. And that Garak wrote down his first hand account.
Spectacular. DS9 is my "support" show I turn to when I'm down (and given the times...). I always find some solace in it. I have read Stitch in Time but's it's been awhile. Time to revist.
This is UNBELIEVABLY good. The chemistry is still there, and better than ever. Such talented voices!

My husband and I read this book sharing it between us while on a trip to Japan in 2000, thoroughly enjoying it! We had the pleasure of meeting Andrew Robinson at a couple different Star Trek conventions in the early 2000s and got to relate the story of our reading of the book while traveling .
I've read hundreds of Star Trek novels and yet "A Stitch in Time" remains my absolute favorite of them all.

I listen to Audible 4 hours a day these two gentlemen absolutely need to read a book any book their voices are so expressive
What a perfect timing! I've actually started A Stitch in Time a few days ago and from the very beginning I've been hearing Andrew's voice in my head while reading it. I couldn't help but grinning when going through this chapter and hearing Andy's and Sid's voices for real this time.
I love the book so far, I'm gonna grab the audio version as well, for sure!

I have this Book and love it so much, thank you for this reading...I remember you both coming to an event in Norwich UK which I attended and after a talk and talk about this book you did a play and involved some of the audience in it (we were part of Garaks dream). to this day I still have your autographed pictures on my wall.
This is just wonderful! Garak is one of my favorite characters on DS9. I love how he always plays with Bashir to help Bashir think out-of-the-box and at different levels. In episodes like The Wire, Julian Bashir helps Garak on multiple levels. Just wonderful, both of them!
We need this on screen in full streak universe 🎉 well done both.. I hope paramount would do a one off..

I had to listen to them as if listening to an audiobook ... I love both of these fine gentlemen SOOO much that I just can't bear to see them AGE!! LOL!!! It's funny, I half expected to see Andrew wearing his 'Cardassian' make-up and dress and I was, admittedly, a little disappointed when I didn't .... but it was still worth it ... to hear these 2 guys have a conversation while in role was oh so worth it!! If you ever come to NC, let us know! We would be happy to have you over for tea and a chat!

Mr. Robinson, please do a 2nd book. This one, for $1 on Kindle, was great, & left me wishing for more. I know it must have been a huge amount of labor, because I enjoyed it nearly as much as a Master & Commander novel, or something from the Potter verse.
How can I thumbs up this twice?!!! I only wish Alexander Siddig could have voiced Dr. Basheer on the upcoming audio book.

Is this going to be a dramatized audiobook, or is this just a special performance for the excerpt? -- I'd love the audiobook, dramatized or narrated. -- I miss Deep Space Nine. I've been doing an oft-interrupted rewatch of TNG, DS9, VOY, and am reminded ow good they all were, and I was so glad to get to see the What We Left Behind documentary. -- Of the three series, DS9 had the most character development and story arc, the most dept of exploration of life in space, the human condition. (Yes, tNG and VOY also had good explorations of those.) I was just past college age when DS9 started, and now when I rewatch periodically, there's always more to each series. I wish we could have a continuation, what the crew of DS0 are up to now. Thanks, form this fan, to all the cast and crew who made DS9 a reality. (I also wish Ro Laren cold have done a guest episode.)
