I can only imagine the gallons of coffee needed to actively discuss a case at 7 in the morning.

Err maybe in the States, but over here we only study one thing for our degree so I only do history. Then after graduation, a lot of history grads go into business and so I guess after that I could do a business course if I wished.
    does that help?

I'd still give the edge to Wharton, where the emphasis is still on the actual numbers and less on charismatic sweet-talking

BoxOfOranges84 would you give the edge to Wharton over Columbia?

Probably gunning for extra courses or the likes. Or maybe as far as their new or another degree. I've found that most students that seemed old in my classes were in-fact working for a company already but took extra courses and such either for a promotion or whatever it was.
I don't remember if I really had a follow up question. I hope my answer gave you some form of clarification.
Also if you study history there's less of a chance you'll be connected to any business-type classes? Am I wrong?

How old are these student? Generally.
I'm English so I have little knowledge of the American education system. But one of them said that they were a first year and looked about 10 years older than me and I am 20 and a second year university student In England.

I really don't like MBA like degree program and teaching methods such as "Case Method". It looks nice from academic point of view. In a real life, this waste of time and waste of money, if you want to be an entrepreneur and already have an idea. I recommend to earn a technical degree such as MS in Computer Science or Engineering or Science and invest $100K+ (MBA tuition) for your idea / venture. This is my personal opinion.
