If you own or thinking about purchasing a 2023 or 2024 11th generation Honda Accord...Beware. The gas line, brake lines and evap lines are plastic and are not fully protected by Sheilds, Guards. These cars have about a 14 inch section were these lines are exposed to road hazards. I had something hit these pipes, one was cut almost completely through, others severely damaged. The repair bill at the Honda dealership is over $7,000.00. I reported this to American Honda as I feel this could have been prevented had lines been metal or at minimum run behind a protective cover. These undercarriage on these cars are almost completely covered by shields, guards, you even have to remove the skid plate to change oil, filter but Honda decides to leave this section of crucial pipes non protected from road hazards. Honda has refused to take any responsibility for not providing a guard which would prevented such damage. I could have lost my brakes and or a fire started due to damage occurring.
I just got this car a week ago. I had a corolla hatchback 2022, and I can tell that I feel very pleased with this car, it feels strongly built, very comfortable and smooth. Great car !
Hey, I bought a Honda accord ex 2024. The manual shows I can fuel it up by 87 octane or higher but in the Honda website it says 91 or higher after September 2023. I am not confused on what gas to use! People on Reddit and other platforms are discussing that turbo engine with increase in compression ratio from 10:3 to 10:6 makes it demanding for premium fuel and is also a reason why people are facing head gasket issue with low grade fuel. I think most of the accord 2024 owners like me are confused on what to do. Well I don’t want to be the one paying 2800$ for head gasket fix and fuel up with premium gas now if it saves the gasket. Can you suggest something in this topic ?
It has 40 inches of leg room in the back seat which is great. That’s why Accord is good for picking up visitors at airports and at hotels to tour them around.
Looks at his 2004 Accord V6 with 70k miles (they last 350k)]. Sweet review bro, but I'm good. LOL Getting ready to dump thousands on completely fixing her up. All molding, plastic, etc.; anything the sun has faded. Protip! Get the engine detailed when needed. I cannot stress how important this overlooked car maintenance task is that most people skip. My engine looks almost as good as the day I bought it and still runs buttery smooth. Take care of your Honda and it'll take care of you.
My mom got this car and I don't like how low it is. It's difficult to get into. And I'm only 33. It's ridiculously low and the seats are like bucket seats.
Honda is not aggressive with their updates. The Accord was basically the same from 2018 to 2022. The 2.0T was not distinguished from the 1.5t. Get ready for another 5 years of minimal changes.
Seemed like a lot of lag. My mom’s car doesn’t have any. All cars are 4 cyckendar with turbo now. Kind of lame. But def difference from 4 cycle sets of 2000s
Most rear vehicles have become a billboards- in case you forget what you’re driving. . The accord badge can easily be removed because they ain’t paying you to advertise for them.
They just do not look like a 2024 car whatsoever. Thats my problem, if I'm going to spend my hard earned money on a new car I dont want it to look 5 years old off the lot
I just bought the 2024 Honda Civic Sport and like my car way more than the Accord. To me, the interior is bland, unexciting, and just plain to me. And that exterior is just as bad.
Looking at front end hurts my eyes. Failed design. Wouldn't park in driveway. Wait for next model design. Or Get the new Camry instead. Camry was and is the better design 2018- 2027
One of the greatest car ever made. To my amazement: no back seat vents. Thanks for the review. Keep up the good work.
EX-L and up trims have the back seat vents (and two USB ports).
Thanks for the info.@@marksimonds13
You have under seat vents for the rear and the top vents don't provide much air flow. It's primarily a looks issue
I absolutely love the front end!!!
This is a really neat, exhaustive review. You've covered all the aspects of the car, thank you!
2020 Honda accord 2.0t was the sweet spot for Honda being 1.Reliable 2.Room 42/40 3.Regular unleaded use 4. Speed
Accord looks better than the new Camry.
Insane new Honda Accord sedan I can buy.

Awesome car! Congrats! 👏
Amazing review bro.
Beware of the 1.5 turbo and oil dilution. I'm pretty sure they haven't addressed this issue..

The car looks very classy, very simple and elegant!

Accord EX or Camry SE, in your opinion? I’m in the market, and considering those two options.
That color is the best!
Why does a Honda Accord look this good? I drive an Audi A5 Sportback but this Honda caught my eye. It’s sleek!
Does this drive compared to the VW Arteon?
The new Accord is back to looking like an old person's car. One thing about it is don't have to worry about the Detroit homies stealing it

this car is beautiful i think im about to get it in white
Give us 2.0 turbo and manual again🤣
No
Forget the turbos... just somethings that's going to fail down the road.
I wonder has Honda sorted out the problems with the 1.5t engine?

I'm surprised it doesn't come with rear seat ventilation or charging ports.
Rear seat ventilation 🤦🏻♀️ WTF 🤣 We’re in 2024 NOT 2034!
@@cindymiller2748 Believe it or not but cars do come with rear seat ventilation in 2024.
How is the legroom in the backseat?
It’s big. The most I’ve seen in any reasonably priced sedans.
Most rear vehicles have become a billboards- in case you forget what you’re driving. . The accord badge can easily be removed because they ain’t paying you to advertise for them.
Two exhausts nice! I do not like the cargo rail arm design.
I'll take the accord over the camry. Overall the new camry is a nice car, however, I just can't get past that cheese grater grill on their sport model.

Exl 🙏🏼
The audience looking at the rear view mirror instead of seeing through the windshield is 👎
No leather wrap steering wheel. Ugh. That's cheap AF. Deal breaker
Lord please do not use gloss black on the interior. Gloss is the worst. You see every spec of dust
It looks like a dodge charger and a 2018 Ford taurus mixed together
Design wise looks bland. 2025 Toyota Camry definitely takes the win for me in design alone.
It’s bland but it looks regal going down the road.
😂😂😂
The hybrid models with 19's look great. Sport l is the best
What is bland? New age jerks need silly cuts and stupid designs.
That grill on the 2025 Camry is ugly af
2025 Camry looks better. Honda is getting bland/boring w their newer models.
Looking at front end hurts my eyes. Failed design. Wouldn't park in driveway. Wait for next model design. Or Get the new Camry instead. Camry was and is the better design 2018- 2027
New Camry🤣🤦🏻♀️ No thanks, that screams…look at me now im in desperate need of attention. This Accord is perfectly styled.
@cindymiller2748 honda Taurus 😂😂
The rims are not exciting... I know subjective.
so we're back CVT? no thank you..
design is so ugly and lazy
This is one ugly car. I’d drive one if it was given to me but no way I’m spending money on a car that has no design team.
needs chrome to much plastic little toy car
It’s ugly thank god I have my Acura TLX!
