The fact that this show has so many musical stars. Charlie is voiced by Erika Henningsen (Cady from Mean Girls the Musical), Vaggie is voiced by Stephanie Beatriz (you know her from Encanto as Mirabel), Husk is voiced by Keith David (Dr Facilier from The Princess and the Frog) and Adam is voiced by Alex Brightman (Beetlejuice in the stage musical) among many others. This show really feels like a wacky love letter to theater kids.

Richard Horowitz ( invader zim himself) is also the voice director for both shows
So the hierarchy of Hell in it's entirety goes:
1. Lucifer - King of Hell, fallen Angel, Embodiment of the Sin of Pride
2. Lilith and Charlie - Queen and Princess of Hell (Lilith and Lucifer have split but I think she's still Queen).
3. The Seven Deadly Sins - or rather six since Lucifer outranks the rest of them. They can leave their Rings of Hell but they don't that often, they still outrank everyone else. If they ever do a crossover of 'Hazbin Hotel' and 'Helluva Boss' I want to know if Charlie knows them.
4. Ars Geotia - I'm sure that's what they're called, royal demon families in Hell, who mostly look like some sort of bird. We know the Morningstar family knows them because Charlie and Lucifer both have them in photos (we see Lucifer's photo when he finally debuts on this show and I'm sure we saw some photos with Charlie in the pilot episode). They're more like aristocracy of our world than real royalty though (that's the Morningstar family).
5. Overlords - Demons who are Sinners (humans who were condemned to Hell) but who have obtained power and influence over the rest of the regular sinners, such as Alastor.
6. Sinners - human souls who were condemned to Hell when they died. They're immortal so if they get killed by each other they'll eventually reform (I think) but if they're killed by exterminators then they can't come back.
7. Hellborn demons - various species of demons who were born in Hell so I don't think they can leave, these include Incubi and Succibi.
8. Imps and Hellhounds - like the demons they're born to Hell but for some reason they're at the bottom of Hell's hierarchy. Imps are generally small and red with horns and tails, Hellhounds are various species of dogs and wolves but wear clothes and walk on two legs.
Those we don't meet in Hazbin Hotel we'll meet in Helluva Boss.
One of Viv's aspirations is to have all of the seven Deadly Sins in the same room, something she can't do at the moment because Lucifer is not part of Helluva Boss. But I would also love to see the Sins interacting with one another, not to mention their relationship with Charlie. I bet Asmodeus and Bee would be the cool uncle and aunt, Satan would be the protective uncle who appears to not care for her and Mammon would be the uncle who would try teach Charlie the many ways of extorting money from others only to then extort it from her. I don't know how Belphegor and Leviathan would be like, since we haven't met them yet.
Technically Hellborn Demons, along with Imps and Hellrounds can leave and enter into other rings in Hell as shown in _Helluva Boss_ it’s only Overlords and Sinners who can’t leave Any other ring, but Pride.

so don't know if you caught this when charlie says "that explains so much" in response to finding out she's meeting adam think about who he is to her- her mothers ex husband. Lucifer basically sent his daughter to meet his wifes first husband lol. So when she says "that explains so much" I take it as 'now I see why you left him'

Love that y'all weren't confused by Lilith, so many reactors are unfamiliar with that version of the mythology. They're like "oh they added a new character?" and my storytelling heart despairs.
A small note, the Pilot isn't technically full "canon" in that if there are differences between this episode and the Pilot this version "overwrites" it. :) A lot of the Pilot is still "soft" canon, because it doesn't contradict anything, but it's best to think of it as a separate thing :)

Here are the characters you've seen so far sexual orientations: Vaggie and Angel are gay, Tom, Sir Pentious, and Charlie are bi. Husk is pan. And Al is asexual

Yeah, there are a few things to note about how Hell works in this universe.
Firstly there are two major types of demons. The first are Sinners, who are humans who have been damned to Hell after death. When they arrive in Hell they gain a demonic form that usually reflects how they died and is designed to make them hate how they look. Alastor is a notable example, seeing how his demon form is that of a deer, referencing how he died in a deer hunting related accident. Sinners cannot reproduce, are confined to the Pride Ring of Hell and are biologically immortal. The only way they can be killed is through the use of blessed weapons, which angels use during the Extermination, explaining why Hell is so overcrowded.
The second type of Demons are Hellborn, which are exactly what they sound like. These are demons that were born in Hell. They vary a lot depending on how high up the hierarchy they are, but the lower classes are able to be killed with regular weaponry, whilst royals need the blessed weapons described before. Charlie is the only Hellborn in the main cast of Hazbin, but the sister series, Helluva Boss focuses a lot more on how the lower and upper classes of Hellborn live in this world.
The Hierarchy of Hell basically works like this, from highest to lowest:
1. Lucifer. A fallen Angel. The King of Hell and the Sin of Pride.
2. Lilith. The First Woman and Lucifer’s wife. The Queen of Hell
3. Charlie Morningstar. Their daughter. A smol bean.
4. The remaining Six Members of The Seven Deadly Sins. Asmodeus. Satan. Leviathan. Mammon. Beelzebub. Belphegor. They each run a ring of Hell, kinda like Dante’s Inferno.
5. The Ars Goetia. A collection of 72 noble Demon families with very strong magic and rigid sensibilities.
6. Overlords. Powerful demons who have come into being by providing necessary advancements to Hell. Alastor is the Overlord of Radio, because he brought the idea of radio with him to Hell when he died.
7. Sinners. Described above.
8. Hellborn demons.
9. Imps and Hellhounds. The lowest of the low. Often working class or even slaves.

16:34 We haven't seen the rest of heaven yet. Don't forget, Adam got into Heaven (for some reason) after dying, there are Heaven-born angels as well like there are hell-born demons.
Helluva Boss is more about the Hell born demons and Hazbin Hotel is about the sinners
Sinners are only allowed in The Pride Ring. Probably because Lucy is the sin of pride. Hell born demons can go to any ring they want
2:57 I didn't know the details but I'd heard of her before - in the book version of 'The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe', Mr Beaver mentions briefly 'your father Adams first wife, they called her Lilith. And she was one of the Jinn'. He's talking about what the White Witch actually is, that she claims to be human and claims her right to be Queen through that since only a "son of Adam or a Daughter of Eve" can rule Narnia, but that she's actually part Jinn and part giantess, and its referred to in the prequel book 'The Magician's Nephew' which is sixth in the published order but first in the chronological order of 'The Chronicles of Narnia' when we find out a bit more about her, but her family has always had magic (not the kind taught by rules or books) and has giants in their history.
I don't know whether or not Lewis saying that Lilith was a Jinn was a personal theory of his or was a religious theory at the time, but I do think that it was a very limited understanding of what a Jinn actually is.
Not that we've met him yet in Helluva Boss (though we might in a few months), but in this universe Satan and Lucifer are two seperate entities.
Apparently that was an earlier definition of demons and entities in Hell, that Lucifer is specifically the fallen angel and Satan is specifically the embodiment of evil (without a backstory as far as I can tell). But over time they became connected and people started saying that they were two different names for the same figure or that before the fall his name was Lucifer and after the fall his name was Satan. Not 100% sure though so don't quote me on it.
In this story, Lucifer is the fallen angel and because of his fall he's the embodiment of the Deadly Sin of Pride, and since Pride (though I think it's more accurate when they call it Vanity - being vain or being arrogant is different from being proud but Sin of Vanity or Sin of Arrogance doesn't roll off the tongue as easily as Sin of Pride) is supposed to be the root of the rest of the Deadly Sins, he's the leader of the rest of the Deadly Sins and is also the King of Hell outranking everyone else including Charlie and Lilith.
Satan in this universe is the embodiment of the Deadly Sin of Wrath, we're supposed to meet him soon in 'Helluva Boss' - in this universe Hell is divided into 7 different rings, one for each of the Deadly Sins and each with a demon who's the embodiment of that Sin to rule over them. Sinners however are confined to the Pride Ring so the exterminators only go there rather than going to the other rings where hellborn creatures such as imps and hellhounds reside (I think there are other kinds of hellborn demons but I don't know what they're called).
I honestly think Satan is not that much of a bad demon, considering how Asmodeus and Bee don't even embody the negative side of their respective sins. But Satan really is someone I am very curious about. I mean, the same way Asmodeus is the boss of the succubi demons and Bee rules over the hellhounds, Satan is the one that rules over imps (who are native to his ring), like Blitz, Moxxie and Millie.

Now the question of everyone's mind - if Adam is in Heaven and Lilith was in Hell (not that we know where she is right now), where is Eve?
And where are Cain and Abel?
There's a fan rewriting of the exterminators where Adam is actually ok personality wise and that it's Abel who's leading the extermination because of anger over never having seen the Garden of Eden and because his reward for being good when he was alive was to be killed by his brother. It's interesting but still just makes me wonder where the rest of the first family on earth are.
I hope you guys continue with the rest of the series, and maybe even do Helluva Boss as it’s done by the same creator, and is in the same universe /takes place in hell

Also, if Heaven exterminated all of Hell where would they send angels who rebel? They really did not think this through.
Most reactors to this show seem to get by with fading out the video a bit and/or putting a watermark or "Here Due to Copyright" over the video, with out cutting out bits of the video. Might be worth a shot in the future.
If there's 1 complaint about this series is how long drawn-out that the story opening is. I wish that it could've been its own short so we could see the action than having to hear Charlie blabber on and on and on. If you, later, feel that the pace of certain stories get a bit rushed, I blame Amazon for not giving the team more episodes (13, 15, or even 20 episodes) for Season 1.

The exorcist angels and Adam's main targets are the sinners, AKA human that died and became demons. Every other demon that is born in Hell is technically pardoned but if they happen to be in The Pride Ring on the day of, then the angels will kill them
The angels will only kill a hellborn if they try to interfere with their job. And even if they would kill them nevertheless, they just need to go to any other of the rings of Hell as sinners can't leave the Pride Ring, so angels only go there.

The angels tried to k×ll them thus their Mother k×lled the angels to protect her kids.
Same thing happened during Vaggie's extermination. She spared the life of a child demon, aka, a hell born.
Which she spared and was thus kicked out of heaven for.
Then Adam also tried to k×ll Charlie during the finale when he simply could've beat her up until she couldn't move.
But he was seriously going to m×rder her.
Lucifer stepped in to save his daughter.
They just took advantage of the reclusive, depressed, and neglectful nature of Lucifer to get away with this.
I mean look at how he was behaving before. Charlie came back into his life.

@@nobinary2296 Carmilla's daughters don't look like any other known hellborn species, so they most likely are sinners as well. Being Carmilla's daughters doesn't mean they were born in Hell, only that they also died and went to Hell with their mother. In fact, sinners can't have children. Lilith is the exception to human demons having children because she technically didn't die when she was casted to Hell with Lucifer, so she is not a sinner demon.
As for the child... There are sinner demons that are children and they are mostly cannibals. It is said that the cannibal children may look innocent, but they are as monstruous as the adults.
And like I said, even if the deal says exorcists can't go after hellborn demons, it doesn't mean they won't kill them if they get in their way, like protecting a sinner demon targeted by the exorcists or try to actively prevent extermination when it is happening.
I can never get a straight answer as to whether Lilith originated from an earlier draft of the Bible or the Old Testament or if she's a figure in Jewish folklore and was never part of the Torah in the first place.

We don't know if God is in this show, we know that there are the angels (different kinds of course), though there is one drawing of someone with four eyes who MIGHT be God, we're not sure yet.
Like when The Bible was being put together, a lot of stories got cut out of the canon either because they were too complicated, seen as heretical in the depiction of Jesus, the Apostles and the prophets or just seen as too far out there. The Lilith lore is the latter plus it was too close to the Sumerian and Pagan lore that predated Christianity and Judaism for the orthodoxy`s liking, also it did kinda paint Adam in a more villainous light than the canonical Genesis depiction like this show does in a more modernized way.
