I love how Helena Bonham Carter kind of steers the plot through her past lessons to Enola, like a mischevious pixie whispering in her ear. Do the thing. Do it!
The scene with Enola and Sherlock in the girls school. I am always completely distracted by the sheer size of Enola's white collar. It's gigantic. She could make wings and fly from the school with them. I love all the Harry Potter cameos. Helena bonham carter, Fiona Shaw, and Frances De La Tour. It's so good.
Because you asked, generally it depends on the type of plant and house that the plant is growing on. Plants can destroy/damage the masonry of the home, so if the house isn’t built to purposely have plants growing on it then it isn’t usually a good thing.
People sometimes forget Millie was 16/17 years old when she produced this movie! And definitely is a Hit. Loved y’alls reaction to this 1 and hope to see the reaction to the sequel(which is loosely based on true events)! 💗🔥 and with the 3rd movie in development. See y’all soon for the next!
As someone who was introduced to Enola Holmes through the books rather than the movies, there's a distinct difference between the two versions of the story they're telling, and while I like the story told by the books which is... an interesting dichotomy to compare.
“Mycroft you’re not the boss” well that’s not entirely true. At least during this time period the eldest male would become the head of the household if the father was not around!
This movie was pretty good I pretty much enjoyed it all the story is great and the actors gave a really awesome performance ❤️❤️ I enjoyed your both of yours reaction 😄😁👍👍
38:50 I always agree with most of what you say in your reactions. Here though, I think you are missing the point of the movie by saying this. "you are under utilizing your talents". Sherlock, like Enola, is doing exactly what he wants, what makes him happy, not what he SHOULD do or what is best for society. That is all we want in the modern world, that is what Enola wanted, what we want to do not what we are told we should do. Sherlock is right where he belongs because it is where he is happy. He would never get anything done in politics because it bores him so he wouldn't fight to make any changes.
I did a self defense class in school and if you are being attacked and it's a life threatening situation, you need to make sure the attacker won't wake up when you counter attack. So you were right. Once the opponent is down, you need to make sure they stay down, so you have time to go look for help. But in every freaking movie, the hero only hit once and then run. It's so frustrating to watch. Lol
This was such a fun mpvor. You guys ate amazing keep them coming ypi are my favorite reactions leep it up if I see a new video ypu poste i jump on it. great work. Love both of you ❤❤❤
I loved these movies! they're so good & I feel like theyre severely underrated also they went through a lot of shit cos this ver of Sherlock(after he got sober) is still under the Arthur Conan Doyle estate. so there were copyright(?) issues, thats why most depictions of Sherlock he is still in the middle of his addiction, but it is actually canon that he gets clean & is a better man @9:22 Petunia Dursley
43:00 "Omnia mutantur, nihil interit," Everyhting changes, nothing perishes. Everything always changes, like a great wave it sweeps over us, only by riding the wave can we can regain some measure of control.
You know, it'll be an interesting series for you. Both to watch if you would have the cha cartoon called. Swat cats. It's an interesting show in interesting characters. Please check it out
PLEASE REACT TO "SPIRIT: STALLION OF THE CIMARRON"! It's a story about a strong, beautiful horse with a spirit that can never be broken. I cry every time I watch it! It's a INCREDIBLE film, and the songs are so cool! But it's not a musical and the animals can't talk. 😭💔🔥
Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes DO NOT have a sister in any of the real canon. I hate that the writer took one of the most iconic surnames in Crime Fiction, and used it to try and legitimize her creation for naive children with no sense of History. If you want to create a separate female detective in Victorian/Edwardian London, who maybe knows Sherlock and doesn't like him because he patronizes her then that's fine, but don't make it his sister.
Why are you so upset with somebody writing something based on something else? It’s how fiction works in a lot of cases dating back to Homer. There’s not a lot of originality in literature as a whole because a lot of experiences are universal - Maria
I hope you guys watch the sequal as well! I personally think its way better then the first.
It's such a good sequel
I'm very much looking forward to it 😄 I saw David Thewlis is in the sequel, yay - Maria
Yes, I loved the sequel!!
I love how Helena Bonham Carter kind of steers the plot through her past lessons to Enola, like a mischevious pixie whispering in her ear. Do the thing. Do it!
For sure 😄 - Maria
This movie has such an unique collage style. It's great.
I like it too 😊 - Maria
Enola being alone backwards I take as being her being the opposite of alone. That she will always have someone on her side
I love how Enola and Tewksbury both subvert gender roles
I'm looking forward to "Enola 3", and I thought she was pretty good in "Damsel", I hope they also make a "Damsel 2".
Totally fair 😊 We’re looking forward to Enola 2 now. And Damsel was so good! - Maria

Sherlock is definitely me. He just does whatever interests him and that's what I do as well.

This is literally her fisrt time applying what she learned from her mother. Why are you guys expecting her to be perfect and do everything right? 😂😂
Maria, I felt seen when you talked about detective stories. LOVED THEM SINCE FOREVER!
“Mycroft you’re not the boss” well that’s not entirely true. At least during this time period the eldest male would become the head of the household if the father was not around!
Oh Maria I love the purple lipstick matching the purple on the vest! 💜

11:00 Mycroft as I recall is essentially in charge of the british government. He's not PM but he controls the PM.
Not me not recognizing Petunia Dursley until seeing your reaction video 😅
Did you also recognise Madame Maxime? 😊
Now that the premier's over, coming back to catch the part I missed at the beginning

Loved this movie when it came out. Most people seem to like the sequel more but I personally prefer this one.

@9:22 Petunia Dursley
defiantly enjoyed this movie when i watched it, the second one is really good too and i think they tightened up the writing in the second one
Hmm I don’t remember this movie as much but it was a great rewatch with yall
5:30 If done in a controlled fahsion it can serve as a layer of insulation but if not controlled it can tear the house apart.

Yeah and also it’s literally fiction, Sherlock Holmes doesn’t exist? He can or cannot have a sister if you want because he’s fictional!
