He knows what he is doing. Why is he doing it? To provide entertainment for his subscribers.

Depends on if you’re crazy enough to do it m8 ;) the thrill of being able to throw it sideways at any time or smoke almost any car on Tap is an absolute adrenaline overdrive.
The "rain light" turns on a little red position light on the back of the car. Both the FIM and FIA make it mandatory, so pretty much all race cars and motorcycles have that light and often switch (although it's not necessarily a switch, sometime's it's just a setting)
Doug I own that car and appreciate the humor of what you went through on the video! To me its obvious being 6'++ made your life worse than mine in this instance. First, reach under the roof and grab a piece of roll bar, right foot on the seat, left hand now goes on the door, lift that long left leg and slide it in with your butt following, you won't have to remove the wheel but in your case, remove it! Loud?? OMG! But, anyone driving it is Helmeted, and with ear cups and sound deadening for the race radio, its not unpleasant. Incidentally, when driving at HDPE events people frequently say things like "your passing me was a highlight of my day, hearing that engine sound wide open that close was a treat!" Hot?!? The car has AC, its required in the Challenge series, keeps the driver alive you know - along with with a cool shirt (mine has cool shirt system to swirl ice-water around my upper torso ,who need AC then?). The AC doesn't help much for sure, especially since we never drive with the left window in, and remember we drive with a 1-3 layer nomex full body race suit on, try that at COTA in Texas, in the summer!! The ride - yes its worse than a UPS van but that van won't go through a U turn at 80mph! And BTW, there is a speedometer, press the page button on the wheel and the screen will go from "warm up" to "practice" to Race. Its small, but its there, and remember no one is paying attention to speed its your lap time and how you're doing against your friends who are tapping you with their fenders while driving your beautiful untouched Ferrari (in your case). Come down to Texas sometime and rumble with me.

I'll tell you a secret from training Brazilian Jiu-jitsu about how to move your body in order to get out of the car easily. Stop trying to stick your legs out first; your goal is to get your hips out. If you just get your hips out, your legs follow easily. Think of your hips as the conjunction that holds your entire body together. Wherever your hips are, the rest of the body will move. Once you hip over the cage, then you can just retract your legs and they come with you. Doing BJJ has changed my life. I can move around in tight spaces, my car, my bed, etc. so much better because of it. Sounds weird as hell, but it really increased my bodily awareness and control.
viksra here’s my theory, when a car with a turbo switches gears the Turbo has a whistling sound and when you are in process of switching gears the amount of air that hits the turbo actually stops for a few milliseconds so the air becomes less dense in the turbo meaning that the whistling sound goes to a low frequency making that laser sound, notice that It went from high to low when he switched gears. Hoped this helped (:

lack of SRS , like airbags , no emissions control , and the fact it's registered as a race car.....it has lexan windows....modified driver restraints and a roll cage....thats what makes it not street legal.
+Maksym Z the challenge transmission is fairly tricky. if the car isn't receiving enough gas, the ECU will automatically kill the engine. that's the main gist of it. it's rather interesting. take a look at the channel @superspeedersrob and the video is called something along the lines of "race car in the streets"
Pretty sure it does have a clutch, but you only need it for 1st getting started. edit: it has a sequential manual, so you have to use the clutch to start.

I'll tell you a secret from training Brazilian Jiu-jitsu about how to move your body in order to get out of the car easily. Stop trying to stick your legs out first; your goal is to get your hips out. If you just get your hips out, your legs follow easily. Think of your hips as the conjunction that holds your entire body together. Wherever your hips are, the rest of the body will move. Once you hip over the cage, then you can just retract your legs and they come with you.
Doing BJJ has changed my life. I can move around in tight spaces, my car, my bed, etc. so much better because of it. Sounds weird as hell, but it really increased my bodily awareness and control.

8:02 what is that "dart" / high pitch sound that occurs at the start of the acceleration?
viksra here’s my theory, when a car with a turbo switches gears the Turbo has a whistling sound and when you are in process of switching gears the amount of air that hits the turbo actually stops for a few milliseconds so the air becomes less dense in the turbo meaning that the whistling sound goes to a low frequency making that laser sound, notice that It went from high to low when he switched gears. Hoped this helped (:

not being mean. but you dont know a whole lot of about cars. you dont need a real vin to register a car the dmv will assign you one. plates dont matter i drive a MC car with no plates if pulled over i show some paperwork. as far as his skyline it was 100% legal. the only place he wouldn't be able to register it is California that because of the epa new law.

lack of SRS , like airbags , no emissions control , and the fact it's registered as a race car.....it has lexan windows....modified driver restraints and a roll cage....thats what makes it not street legal.

how can you stall an automatic?
+Maksym Z the challenge transmission is fairly tricky. if the car isn't receiving enough gas, the ECU will automatically kill the engine. that's the main gist of it. it's rather interesting. take a look at the channel @superspeedersrob and the video is called something along the lines of "race car in the streets"

Pretty sure it does have a clutch, but you only need it for 1st getting started.
edit: it has a sequential manual, so you have to use the clutch to start.
Dude just drive it in the snowy winter, no noice cuz it gets stuck, no bumps cuz it gets stuck, and no hotness cuz is cold, overall the sound is good enough
