Are you guys producing a Mark III? I have been with the 1 series since my film days [ Canon 1V ] was my last film body. I am currently shooting 1D Mark IVs. I have no desire to shoot mirrorless. I hope you guys does not abandon the DSLR shooters.

A little late to the dance here, which is the story of my life, but I've got one of these bodies on my KEH wish list. Nice, refreshingly candid review.
I have been using my 1DxII for years (exclusively as a pro wire service sports photographer), and never knew about being able to use the screen to set focus point. Probably because I'm almost never in Live View, but it's good to know this is there.
This is one of the best and honest reviews of this camera i ever saw. I would confirm everything you said about our camera. Thumbs up

I can shoot an entire event and not look at the screen for a single image..... I am old school and used to shoot a professional soccer game in Germany and turn in my 300 rolls of film to the agency for developing..... now at 59 years of age and shooting Canon for over 40 years, I really don't use the screen .....and traded my (3) MKii for three MK iii .....and I even purchased an R3 and returned it, I live in Arizona and it overheats out in the desert ....
You can get an aftermarket charger that charges the batteries in the upright position. It is much smaller and lighter than the OEM charger

What is consider a good price for 1Dx ii in 2023?

Hey, I do not shoot any video what so ever, only 100% stills, and some say the 1dx and 1dxii are roughtly the same for stills in quality, what is your personal opinion, have you shot on both?
IF there is minimal quality + handling differences, then I can (almost) get 2x 1DX bodies for the same price as a 1DXii body in some places.
Just looked up the price of the old Mk. 1, Jiminy Crickets, those came down in price!
I've owned both the MK. 1 and MK. ii.
The MK. ii did have noticeably better stills/AF performance than the MK. i, but not sure if it's "twice the price, good."
For low-light photography, I found the illuminated AF points on the MK. ii to be a great asset.
If you need 2 bodies and/or don't need the video functionality, you may be better served getting the MK. i, which is a superb camera.

A battery does not hold amps, it lats you draw amps.🔋🪫
