I use an electric scooter to pass out cards and I’d say it’s atleast twice as fast. In the neighborhoods where the houses are far apart it makes a bigger difference. I can pass them out 5 days in a row also without wearing myself out before the spring rush

I've done lawns on the side for years but decided recently to take the plunge to go full time in the lawn care business, I am very intrigued what your approach is how to grow your business, I'm definitely learning on this whole marketing thing, I have door hangers and business cards looking into ads FB and more along those lines as well, definitely trying to learn more about marketing

Go running on trash days and hang the door hangers on the trash bin handles.
You can triple or quadruple your reach because you don’t have to walk up to the door AND BACK TO THE STREET.
I was walking and I could pass out 100+ an hour easy. Response rate was 2-3%

Everyone will see it even if they throw it away they have to look at it at least once same as a door hanger except the trashcan method will save you tons of time and expand your reach. You Can triple the amount of houses if you hang them on trash cans instead of Doors

Yes any and all time is charged. You need to think if you had to send an employee would you be paying them to go. We do a flat fee up to "x" amount of hours. You will never become truly profitable if you are not charging for everything.
Time is extremely valuable, for all of us.

Why are you pushing people to do door hangers when we are in a digital age? I’ve never seen you talk about ads online or even free Facebook groups is that because you’re pushing the door hanger business I mean what’s the deal here? This is painful to watch, easier eays
He said in a previous video that he was starting with $1000, he also said that he didn't want to focus on Facebook or google ads for the video because this is supposed to represent what you might experience if you were boot strapping your own business, aka tight budget. Now, he has a goal of 300k a month, so you can almost guarantee he's running google and Facebook ads but what does that help you if you cant afford 300 a day in ad spend you know?
@@PixelatedSlag pretty sure it's 300k a year.. Which is 25k a month on average across all 12 months. Or around 35k a month if they don't do much during winter months.

I still think it would be worth showing a basic Facebook page and posting in groups or very low budget dollars behind it.
Earlier in the challenge I went over this. We are mid season and didn’t get a great CAC from google or Fb. I would agree with you otherwise 100% but when demand is low and no one is searching gotta pound the pavement. I also want to do it to show that it can be done even if someone doesn’t have a massive ad budget
