It all looks great! Question, am I the only one wanting to see Bethany's garden, with all of Laura's throw aways?
Bethany's garden must be beautiful!
I'd love to see it! Especially with commentary about which rescued plants thrived and which did not. Of course I wouldn't want Bethany to do anything she isn't comfortable with, but if she's on board, so am I!
I’d love to see!
This was so fun to watch😎
Me too!!!!!
Once your children have a play set like that, you will always remember their joy in their play. Congratulations to Paul on removing such mammoth blocks of concrete from the basketball hoops! So glad the bobcat was able to get the job done.
Incredible amounts of concrete!!!
Did anyone else want to yell “victory” when Paul got the concrete out? Bless him!!
My father helped us build a play set like this over 30 years ago. My grandchildren are enjoying it now! A worthwhile investment.
Paul and Bethany are such a blessing. They help so much creating your dreams ❤❤❤❤
Creating great memories. Benjamin and Samantha are gonna remember their childhood for years to come. Well done, Laura and Aaron!!
It's amazing how easy a chore becomes when using the right tools. Game changer.
I love that you didn't pick a playset that has crazy colors. It's just perfect!
lol laura would never
The kids are so blessed to have you and Aaron for parents. And you and Aaron are so blessed to have Paul and Bethany. Everything is coming together so well.🥰🥰
IDK Laura & Aaron, perhaps in the play area, you can install some temporary posts and strategically place some shade sails until the trees start to get some size and natural shade capability. Shade sails come in so many sizes, shade strength and colors that they can mostly just blend into the surroundings without being too much of an eyesore. You would really only need them In place during the hottest part of the year. They are pretty simple to string up and take down and just needs to block that fun killing afternoon sun. I would think if you had a couple of large shade trees installed, the play area would have enough shade in a couple of years that you wouldn't need the shade cloth after that. But it would allow the children to enjoy the area for more of the summer.
That would be nice to see because I have had terrible luck with sails in our area. We get really strong winds and having wide open spaces the wind really gets with it. If there's a way to make it more secure I am sure Laura would figure it out! ❤
Paul is amazing-there is nothing that he can’t do!
Paul & Bethany are both such incredible workers! What blessings they are to Laura & Arron!
I'm currently looking for that same kwanzan cherry right now! My husband just got out of the hospital, and I spent the last week looking at 5 or 6 full grown ones!!! Absolutely in all their glory! I never realized how incredible the little bunches of double pink flowers were on that tree! Was instantly in awe, and in love!!
Glad your husband is out of the hospital! 😊
Prayers for your husband continued recovery.
Prayers for your husband. If you have locally a Tractor supply store check it out. Ours Carrie's those trees as well as Lowe's and local garden centers.
They where right outside my hospital window too exactly 2 years ago. It drove me crazy that I was missing the first days of spring but those trees where beautiful
Thank you all so much for the kind comments!! Such a beautiful surprise!! He's doing well!
I am just so happy for you, Aaron and your lovely family. It is such an amazing space. The play set is remarkable. My husband built one for our four children. Now that we are grandparents, we have refurbished it for our grandkids. It is a beloved feature and has so many memories attached.
What a difference the right tool makes! That play set is the bomb. I can only imagine how much fun the children will have. You know, you are creating the space where everyone's kids are going to gather. What fun. I am always impressed with how much of a finished and polished job you do with every project. Truly inspirational! Thanks for taking us along!
This is so great! I think you will be surprised about know long your kids will use that playset. My preteen daughter, and my teenage nieces and nephews still use our playset all the time. They can come here, throw off that teenage angst, and just be kids!
The mulch is toxic and will create health problems for the children. Should have stuck to wood chip.
That’s so sweet! Being a teenager is so hard!
Glad to read this! My oldest is almost 8 and I was wondering how much more time she will have with it.
Wow! for someone who didn't know if they wanted a play set, you went for the deluxe model. How Fun! Enjoy!
I would love to be one of your neighbors waking up every morning to see what the next project will be for the day. Everything is really looking beautiful no matter which way you look at your property. Congratulations on your visions for the property.
I like how the kids were involved in putting the mulch. They will forever remember this.
A huge shout out to all your viewers and subscriber's that made it possible for the fabulous play set!
Yayyyyy
We keep them wealthy...lol.
@@ja-uh9gzthat comment was rude and uncalled for! Yes, views help them generate income, but we also learn from them. They deserve to be compensated for providing a service to us.

Aaron is in his element with that new toy! It makes the work look so easy! Benjamin and Samantha will play in that area for years to come. How blessed they are to have a playground to make memories.
Living the dream. So many beautiful spaces to enjoy everyday. The kids will have many years of fun in their play area, keeping in mind as they grow they will have the huge basketball court/ tennis court. Then there's the pond to just relax around. Not to mention all the garden areas with seating an your patio areas to have early morning coffee. Time flies by,all those trees will be huge in just a short time. Enjoy everyday. Your hard work and knowledge of gardening is amazing. May your channel continues to grow, for it's the best one on YT. You're my inspiration to get out an add to my landscape.
The rubber mulch is toxic and will create health problems for the children. Should have stuck to wood chip.
Oh mercy! That was a lot of cement! The playset looks amazing and so fun! I bet there will be hours of enjoyment and a great way to use up extra energy!❤ You guys have given me a new look at trees. I find myself noticing trees more... the size, the shape, the branch structure. Pine trees, in particular. I never noticed before how the branches grow on pines.... some more weeping and some more upward. I love it. There is beauty and purpose in all the trees! Go hug a tree today!♡
The mulch is toxic and will create health problems for the children. Should have stuck to wood chip.
I feel the same about the trees. I'm in Pennsylvania and this place is covered in trees. They're everywhere! But I never really studied them before. It's a whole new world, even though it's always been everywhere I looked, I never really saw them.
Thank you so much for showing how your kiddos are included in the projects around your home! I'm having so much fun seeing them grow. Hope they have a ton of fun with the new playground!
The second post removal was amazing. That new toy really did the job on just lifting it out.
The play set looks great. Have fun kids.
You are creating so many great spaces in your garden where you will never have to (or want to) leave. You have everything you need…..so special! You are truly blessed and I am so thankful to be able to watch it all!
Putting a nice picnic table out by the play area would look super nice , a place to sit drinks on while watching the kids 💙💜💚
Thought the same thing 😊
The camp chairs have drink holders
I love that Aaron is so happy with his bobcat, and will be much easier for you all with big trees. Beautiful playground for the kids, I'm sure they just love that!
Now that’s a play set! The kids must be over the moon! Great to see more trees going in. Love what you are doing for your family.
Horseshoe area near the play area? Gives the adults something fun to do when watching kids. Maybe even a croquet area?
So HAPPY and THANKFUL you guys can get BACK SAVING EQUIPMENT for ALL the heavy work that you do! WIN-WIN for
everyone! Love the FUN AREA!
I remember how you used to say “we have a large enough area of where the children have natural places to play, without a play set”. But, children grow and needs change. ❤
Love the way your yard has evolved. Absolutely beautiful!
When they outgrow the play set in a few years, they'll still have the large area full of beautiful nature to enjoy!
I'm always amazed at Laura's vision for landscaping and tree placement. The kids' playground looks such fun! Benjamin is learning so much about gardening by hanging out with Mom and Dad while they are working. And I love the term the kids have chosen for "the dirtlands"!
Now that you have the kid area up and running maybe a matching pavilion? Perfect for family picnics, birthday parties and general shelter from weather extremes.
Oh god no.The mulch is toxic and will create health problems for the children. Should have stuck to wood chip.
I get so excited every time another tree is planted! It is already beautiful!
The play area is gorgeous. And so perfect for the kids and their cousins and friends to have a place for them to all hang out and have fun. A memory they will always cherish.
Love the tree planting videos, so fun to watch. It's always the icing on the cake, I hope I'm still alive in 20 years (70 now) to see what your place looks like once their mature.😊
Off subject for this video but something I learned last night reading a random facts book with my kids: sunflowers pull poisons & toxins out of the ground! It made me think of you being concerned about planting food in your row where foxglove was last year. The book said they’re planted where there have been chemical spills to clean the soil 🌻 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
Beautiful spot for a little gazebo, chairs and bbq to host cook outs and watch the kids play! I bet the kids are thrilled, its so wonderful!
So happy for Aaron and his bobcat. Talk about a useful machine!! And those auger attachments 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I can’t wait to see the flowering things that appear around the play set! I imagine the children’s garden will expand all over the property!
We have had rubber mulch for 5 years. It does NOT get hot on sunny days. It's magic. Lol. Best thing we did. We haven't had to add a single bag. Besides it being all around the house, we have a huge sloped hill that's about 130x25. Doesn't fall/slide with rain or wind. Still the exact same color. Shouldn't start fading for another 7+years. It's made of old tires and other rubbers that can't get recycled or put in land fills. It's comfortable on your bare feet and on your knees if you forget to pull out GA's knee pad.
Gorgeous play set, love that you went for the natural brown and green colours! So many memories and smiles ahead for your family 😊
WHAT A LOVELY PLAYSET!! I saved up when my kids were small ($2000) alot for us back then, it was sooo cute, multistorey, all the bells and whistles. Kids spent the next year building huts in the shrubs beside it and never went in it ! 🤣 I hope Benjamin and Samantha get lots of use out of yours.
Just wanted to say thank you for sharing your family with us while giving invaluable gardening advice! I have learned so much from you!
One of the things that has come from watching you for years now, Laura, is just doing. I've always been "afraid" to start projects for fear I would do it wrong but you start *and finish* your projects. It has inspired me to do the same around our property. Thank you for all you are doing and the joy you deposit into this world.
My gosh! Are you living the dream! So happy for you! You guys have everything you could possibly want ... A little taste of heaven on earth ... What a fun place for your kids to grow up in ...
So lovely to see the kids working alongside you two. Such hardworking family. ❤
This looks so, so good! And I i love that you are so generous with what you have... having family and friends over to play on the playground. ❤
My goodness, that is a nicer play set than most public parks have! Your children have no idea of how blessed they are to have this in their very outstanding play area. I imagine that it will bring joy to so many.
Pedro's Team for the win AGAIN!
Think of all the things your children can do in this private Eden you’re creating! Growing up there playing, graduating, could even have a wedding or two there. Grandchildren running all the acreage. Heaven on earth.
Laura and Aaron, the playset is so good. I have been very diligent watching all of your ads that are one minute and less. It's the least I can do. I know it's not much but in time it does help.
A penny saved
(or an ad watched)
Is a penny earned.
My God continue to bless you and your families. Amen.
I'm so excited for the trees you all planted today! But I'm thrilled at the memories you're making with your children. They are enriched every time they participate with your family projects! I admire so much the way you are raising your children and nurturing your marriage!
wow! i am always amazed at the amount of work y'all get done in a day... Paul gets the award for removing concrete... and he's always so 'clean' about it!! he is a treasure, for sure... that Bobcat has already paid for itself... LOVE the playground area... hours and hours of joy and memories out there... i love seeing the kids invested in everything, too: helping with the playset, helping plant the trees.. what a legacy you are creating here... and i love that you take us along.. i've watched your videos since the beginning: remember when you were filming in and out of your townhome?? you've come a long way, baby!! love it! 🥰❤thanks for the video!! 🥰❤
You neighbors have to be to happy you guys acquired this space, so much thought taken to correct appointment of everything.
Oh wow, your children will no doubt remember their childhoods with such fondness, they are two very lucky little people to have amazing parents like you and Aaron, this is a playset of dreams xx
What wonderful memories Ben and Samantha are going to have. For you and Aaron too watching your children grow and play in their special playground.
A sunshade would finish it off! They are amazing and keep things comfortable! Look it up. They come in so many types. They are durable here in the Midwest ❤
In my area some of the townships have created playground areas for young children. They installed the playground equipment, but do not plant any trees. When the weather is nice during the day, with cool temperatures, you'll see mothers bring their young children there to play on the slides, swings, etc. Once the temperature increases you never see anyone there for the entire summer. The playground equipment gets so scalding hot that they can't use it. I'm so glad you will be installing trees! Keep in mind the tube slide could get very hot even now. 🌿🌸🌿 🛝
So true, extremely hot in summer, holds in heat
It was so sweet to see the kids helping out. What memories you are making for them. I can see in the future a great and beautiful place for weddings and receptions, for your family and your kids sharing with their kids, "I helped plant that tree 20-30 years ago".
Laura, that playset is so good for the kids! I'm loving it.. and the fact it has monkey bars is so good for them building strength.. I wish it had a balance beam also because that is important too.. make sure you pay attention to if you start getting hornets 🐝 around the playset because they really do like them
How fun would a pool be! It's just about all your missing and you have all the room for it!! ❤❤
Laura has said in past videos they do not need a pool. They use her parents pool with all her family.
They swim in the pond. Its why they built it that way.
Loving Paul getting to use all the toys!!❤
Bethany is a super human! I mean after all the quality work here, when and how does she manages to do same labor intensive chores at her place! I really want to know her schedule and time management tips 😀
Now u need a splash pad and a Pavillion for family fun. It's so great that the kids have a zone for themselves ❤
You have worked so hard for this! I'm so happy
For you all!
That play set is a kids dream! I see your house being the place for kids birthday parties!!
The rubber mulch is toxic and will create health problems for the children. Should have stuck to wood chip.
it's so lovely to see the whole family helping with the tree planting project.
You all are amazing! The playset and area looks perfect! Benjamin and Samantha are going to so enjoy it!! What a lifetime of memories those kiddos will have thanks to a great mom and dad! Paul, you are a diamond in the rough. I hope you plan on staying with Laura and Aaron through retirement...lol. Love, love all the trees! Once they start filling in, it will be a beautiful sight!
Lucky kids! The playset looks like a lot of fun...and looks nice. With the beauty of all the gardens, trees and pond...the open spaces and now the playset, what more could a kid want to play and use their imagination. Laura spoke about getting horses...and maybe a pool at some point? What a wonderful childhood with a lot of fun memories. 😄
WOW!! The kids will enjoy this for a long time!i can see their birthday party out there with family and friends!!🎉aaron loves his toys!!
Hey Laura The playground looks awesome Paul did a Great job removing the basketball goal post and the trees look great.
Laura, Aaron,
That play set--WOW! 😯
I love seeing you and Aaron working together as a family in the garden. God bless you my dear ❤.
10:50 Might I suggest a pavilion? It can come in handy for the kids birthdays.
Omg, Paul needs a vacation! What a beast of a job removing all that concrete!
I'm so glad you said no to the turf. The astro turf would have been hot on their feet in the hot sun. The playset is amazing. Your kids are so blessed! 😊
Benjamin and Samantha Grace must be so happy with the playground and they look so cute planting the tree God bless😊😊
Love the playset area! Laura and Aaron, maybe you could do the berry field in the other side (instead of dahlia!). Move all your strawberries, rasberries, grapes, blueberries ect! And where you have your rasberries now, you could extend what you already have in that area with the paths and larger tree :). Just an idea but i think it would be awsome hihi! :). It would also clear more soace in the cut flower garden where you want to add the strawberry beds to put more perrenials or veggies if needed!
The rubber mulch is toxic and will create health problems for the children. Should have stuck to wood chip.
Excellent idea 💡
I love to see the entire family with shovels in hand to plant the new trees. Such memories for your sweet children. You are certainly creating your own little piece of paradise . God bless you all.
Oh my word!!! The play area for the kids is FABULOUS!! The court area is coming together as well. That was a CRAZY AMOUNT of cement that needed to come out! Paul is such a hard worker!! The new trees are beautiful. Thank you for sharing with us!!❤
I wish our neighbors were as considerate as you guys. They put out a huge primary colored play set next to the our property line (we’re all on large acreage ) and it’s not attractive….but it is good to see their kids out playing because they never come outside. Being metal I’m sure in 5 yrs it will be rusted out with no child in sight.
They lose interest when they turn about 9 or 10 so it will probably be sold then. Most people don’t keep them at that age because the kids move on
@@cutenurse79 that’s the age the one child is…9….and a new baby. We’re in our 60’s. So the play set will outlast us.🤣
Same thing with a pool neighbors all had to get one now the kids already bored and don’t use it much they grew up
@@doreen9838 yes here too….several put them in. I think that’s why the neighbors I’m speaking of put the playhouse on our property line side because they too plan for a inground pool someday.
Bright plastic playhouses are just plain ugly!
Oh my goodness what a wonderful play area! I think waiting until you had more space was wise. Another layer of beauty coming along. WOW!
The rubber mulch is toxic and will create health problems for the children. Should have stuck to wood chip.
Your neighbors must be happy to see all the wonderful changes you are making that they can see. Love the play area for the kids! Love all the beautiful trees and shrubs you are planting 😍
The play set looks amazing! It's massive but the kids will use it for many years to come. Rubber mulch is a good idea, nice and soft and looks good too.
I see so many tree shopping trips in the near future, so exciting!
I love the play area!! So you think you would ever put in an outdoor kitchen and picnic area?
This video brings back fond memories of pockets full of rubber mulch my littles brought home from the playground 😅
Laura and Aaron, I appreciate your example of how to raise unspoiled children with material privilege. Lots of time, love, gentle correction, and modeling hard work and generosity.
This is going to be such a fun area for the kids and friends/cousins! You could build a brick or paver patio in-between the playground and basketball court to tie the two areas together, add a pergola for shade (new home for the wisteria?), and seating. Perhaps Paul could build some lidded storage benches to hold the basketballs, lidded benches with drop-in space for a cooler of cold drinks, and an enclosed space to hide a garbage can??
The children are going to love that area❤
Thank you to all your viewers and subscribers for making this happen for you …
Yeah, I’m not hating on them but I’m not really enjoying all the really expensive projects and equipment videos they are doing. I miss the “garden” stuff..
Interesting perspective….I see “garden” stuff every video. I get to see a beautiful greenhouse - with its many uses, I get to see a pond and all the plants that can live near it. I see old fashion potato planing and tons of veggies. I see gorgeous bulbs, and fruit trees. Really, there seems to be something for everyone. That is the good thing about this channel - there is something for everyone - and with today’s technology, you can just skip over what one doesn’t enjoy! Win , win, win.
My point being, and I don’t think they’re doing it on purpose, but it seems a bit like showing off your wealth.. people may enjoy that, but it’s a little off putting for me to watch the constant stream of videos showing off expensive purchases and projects which has been the trend for them recently.
I have a different perspective, I never feel bad about someone else’s good fortune. And this really isn’t good fortune, they have earned it! I love this channel every bit of it! If it makes you feel bad, just don’t watch. Those of us that love it can’t wait for the next project or area that is developed. I can’t wait to see what they dream up!
On your new tree line, when you start planting shrubs and small trees I bet a big purple smoke bush would look fabulous. Some of the new ones are small enough to fit in a bed but the older ones get beastly in size which would be perfect for that spot.
That bobcat is an absolute blessing. You are putting it through it’s paces!
How about a lavender field over by the play yard? Lots of sunshine...minimal watering...and fragrance! Oh my! 😊
I love to see men with their toys!! Great video guys!!
Yes! Fun watching Aaron!
I love that the old Laura said she didn’t need one of these. I once said that too! Oh the years of enjoyment and imaginative play that this will bring to you and the family. Have fun “new” Laura, the play set mom!
I also remember when she said she didn't want a pond--- she loves hers now!!! Woman's right to change her mind!!!!! LOL
How exciting and wonderful. Looks perfect for growing kiddos and safe. Good job! Benjamin and Samantha and their family and friends will play on this equipment for years to come with joy.
I can relate so strongly to Laura’s supportive ooohs and aaahhs over Aaron showing her how the new tractor works like a boy with a new toy. 😁 The inner child that comes out of my husband from a new big toy with lots of buttons is heart warming to say the least.
On the really hot days my mom used to hose everything down in my play set to cool it off yes you will get wet but still fun especially if you can hold water at top off slide for little water slide 🛝
Searched GA to see a new vid.. it didn't pop up, so I went to your channel... And it was literally _just_ uploaded. 😂😂😂😂
Just moved across the road... Looking to open a garden cottage, library, and gourd and flower farm!!!! Wine, mushrooms, crafts.... Ahhhhhhh!!! You, Jenny from creekside, and Graham Ottoson, the gourd lady, and Gardener's World finally lit a fire under me to get my life at least going somewhere... Thanks GA family!!!
Oh boy! Hoop day! The kiddos must be so excited. Your life is so blessed and Your videos are a bright spot on the internet for us each day. Thanks for sharing.
The playset is great. The kids will have wonderful years of fun using it. The new trees are beautiful. It is all coming together nicely. The basketball/tennis court is going to be so useful too. As the kids grow older they will use that even more. Wow you are so blessed, and you have worked so hard so enjoy. Thank you for sharing with us. I have started my day with Garden Answer so long I wouldn't know what to do without your smiling face and pleasant voice bringing me inspiration and joy. Have a blessed day everyone.
