My son (who's 40) stopped by while i was watching this. Noticing what you were planning, he said "oh look, For Cynthia, my favorite". That is what he called it when he was Samantha's age. We both laughed.
Bethany is a smart girl… That’s how I garden, I save as much as I can just move it to another place. Laura, it looks like you need some of those elderberries out in the Dirt Lands! That way they can get as big as they want and how gorgeous they’ll be.
Each part of the garden has its own charm. For me, the west side is my favourite! The nice pathway, the shadow of the big trees, the colourful flowers, the roses, the green wall of trees, the paved road between the trees and the flowers…astoundingly beautiful!
I am always so motivated after watching your ideas. My husband and I went out and did our yard work; cutting grass, pulling weeds and trimming shrubs and filling our garden pots with flowers - now we are on the patio worn out🤣
I recently placed my first order from your shop and I gotta say that your fulfillment team is on it! They packed and shipped everything within 24 hours from the time I placed the order! I'm an artist that sells my work online so I know it's a lot of work to keep up on shipping. Just know it's greatly appreciated!!
Yes, the fulfillment team is awesome. I have stopped shopping at merchants that take too long to ship. Customer service is key. Way to go Garden Answer.
I’m excited to see those forsythias in bloom from across the field next spring. The annuals in the west garden really complement the existing plantings and those fabulous urns. Weirdly, I think watching the brushcat cutter attachment make light work of those tall weeds was so satisfying! 🌱🌱 thanks as always for taking us along.
It is so comforting that everyone helps, supports, complements and appreciates one another. Thank you for showing how the equipment works, the beautiful field; your love and care for the land.
Yay! Those forsythia are going to be gorgeous next year. Thank you for the mini tour too. I am happy that people are planting currants again. As a lifelong chef, currants are a favorite in many sweet and savory dishes.
Seeing how the West Side area has changed over the. years is the perfect example of gardening with the long term perspective. From the first arbs in the ground, what a gorgeous progression!
Hey Laura You did a nice job backing up to the water tank Aaron did a nice job With the brush mower Attachment of the tractor. Laura You explained every part of the equipment. You're used correct names for the equipment parts.
Cabbage moths are great food for birds and bats! Good to see a few butterflies in your yard, did you add some native host plants ? Also honey bees are not native and are driving the decline of our native bees 😢 but I really enjoy them as well. Nothing worse than a landscape were nothing is moving , or deadscape.
It would be nice if you had a wildflower field for all the pollinators. My dad had 20 acres, 10 which was wildflower. It was so beautiful for all of summer and fall. Just a thought. Love all your vids. The kids make my day when they're on.
I watched this early this morning. I fell back to sleep so watched again tonight. Yes I love seeing Laura covered in dirt, a little messy hair. It’s a great look! 🩷
Laura and Aaron--Thank you for sharing your accomplishment of achieving your aspirational goals. You and your family are certainly worthy of your success. One note, however, is that your rapid and overwhelming personal success is daunting to everyday gardeners. We didn't choose TH-cam to showcase our gardens and we do deal with more than just your high desert climate, i.e., deer pressure, short growing seasons, and certainly lack of the commercial grower and equipment sponsors/supporters you have. For your TH-camrs, you not only represent aspirational goals, you represent the unattainable reality.
Oh my goodness that west side garden is just exploding. The urns are going to be stunning and with the forcythias they are in a perfect spot I think. The current bush is perfect. I grew up with picking currents. Debs amazing.. thank you sweetie. Much love to you all. See you on the next project!!💜💜🦋🦋🌿🌿🪴🪴🌳🌳🌳🐝🐝🐝
I always find it amazing how you remember the name of so many different plants. My garden is a fraction of the size and I am lucky if I can remember half of what I have
Would love to see a picture of Bethany's garden spaces, I bet they are beautiful!!! Those Forsythias are going to be STUNNING out in the Dirt Lands after a few years of growth!
Good morning Laura and Aaron! Love the forsythia moved over to the dirtlands and looking forward to what you put on the containers this year along this fence line. I am also looking forward to seeing how you continue to develop the beds up near the front of your house. Hugs from N.C..❤
So great that Bethany took the pansies. Nothing goes to waste. I'm sure she'll have good luck with them. Your urns are so pretty! Can't wait to see them fill out! I have to say again what a wonderful team you and Aaron are. I love how readily he helps you, and always so happy and cheerful. You got a good man Laura! It must be so fulfilling that you both share the same dream and are really making it come true for you and your family. What a blessing.
Your West Garden is my favorite. It's amazing how much the plants have grown in it since you last showed it, which wasn't that long ago. Purple, white and green, with some pink or rose colors is "my jam" as you would say! Also, the forsythia pots were my favorite all of the designs you've done over the years in those fence line planters. They were beautiful and screamed "SPRING!!" Thank you and cheers!
Thumbs up! Love the interspersed edit between watering and weed smashing! It's neat to see when "one project leads to another" because that's seriously all projects! Good job you guys!
I love my Show Off forsythia! I bought it on clearance 2 fall seasons ago. This year it really took off with flowers on every branch. The urns are going to look pretty. I love a pop of chartreuse green. ☺️
Iris are my favorite flowers, I was wondering if you would ever do a tour of all your iris. Even after they bloom I really love how striking the leaves are.
I am a seasoned gardener, however I learn something from you in every video! Thank you!! Would it be possible to get a tour of Bethany’s garden someday? I believe we could learn so much from her as well!!
My husband has told me that it is not safe for people or animals to be near by while he is bushhogging with the tractor... That is a great safety feature with the auto shut off. Gorgeous forsythia! Thanks for sharing!
Of all the different spaces in your garden, the west side is my favorite! The transformation of that space has been the most beautiful thing to watch! ❤️😊
It’s so wonderful to see how your garden changes with seasons. I love to see how your pots explode with color from these small plants. It’s just lovely to see. 🥰thank you for sharing!
Hi Laura, the forsythias will be gorgeous next Spring grouped in the Badlands/Dirtlands Great placement! .... don't forget to plant your pear espalier tree before it gets too hot, can't wait to see it in it's new home!🌿🌼
I planted five golden currants last year that I purchased from our conservation district since they are a native here in eastern Washington(maybe for you as well?) They were just little pencil sized whip starts and this spring they are already waist high and loaded with beautiful yellow blooms! I can’t believe how quickly they settled in and can’t wait to harvest fruit them from them this summer! I think I will get more from them than my red currant that I’ve had for around five years!
@@Don-ju9zv I wish I could post pictures here so I could show you mine! I also love the foliage. It’s way more lacey than other currants so even when it’s not in bloom it’s still a nice looking shrub.
I really love the black bench by those boxwoods around 19:32. My opinion, you should do that in each one of those sections possibly with a couple of potted plants. It just finishes the area and still keeps it simple. Love your garden choices.
Laura, as I watched you pot up the west side urns it occurred to me that little bistro sets would look absolutely adorable in each one of those sections under the trees. It would open up the area to view both sides of the garden instead of limiting the view to just one side with having benches there. Perfect spot for an afternoon tea party! 😊 Just a thought! It looks beautiful regardless! Love your channel!!!
Thank you Diane. They are not thick right now but they are planted in more shade than they should be. I will look for a better sunny location for them. I appreciate your advice. ❤
Hi there Laura: Your property looks like an arboretum and I enjoyed watching your tour and seeing all you have accomplished. Your iris's are beautiful and glad your hibiscus did not mind being moved to another area. Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for your video!
Everything you do is so beautiful. I went to HD and looked at some PW plants thinking I would copy some of your ideas. Lord have mercy, each individual plant was $16! You must spend a fortune in plants alone. Not to mention all your fertilizers, soils... I'm just going to have to live vicariously through you ❣️
I love watching you and Aaron work...I watched all the shopping with you, your Mom and Monica yesterday. Your Mom's escapades with the hats was priceless .So many great memories for you all to cherish...it is so good that you all take a break and have a day out..🥰🥰🥰 love you all .
A great video today lots of beautiful plants you planted today love were you pop everything. What a show they will be when they start to bloom. You made me smile when you forgot to turn the camera on to show us you planting you currant brush.
What a great video. Love the forsythia in their new home. The urn are beautiful. That entire area is stunning, just beautiful. Have a blessed day everyone.
Lichfield angel roses are cream, not pink. I want to say the pink ones you have there are Alnwick. ❤ everything looks really pretty. Thanks so much for introducing me to both David Austin roses and cats pajamas nepeta. They are some of my favorite garden pieces
The Forsythia's are going to just shine out there in the Dirt Lands, that excited to see them bloom next spring, but I can wait cause I love Summer Time. Great video!!!!!
Gardening with all those equipments/ attachments is comparable to those chefs / bakers with all their kitchen equipments and attachments and makes job easier and faster.❤️❤️❤️
Great video great planting. Love watching Aron mowing down the weeds. The west side looks fantastic. So lucky that Lady gave you that plant how nice. Thanks again for sharing this with us. PS: Paul is on it. ✅✅✅🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I would love to see some videos compiled with the year to year differences in the west side urns, and the pots along the drive among others. This will show how although things change they remain the same.
I love how frugal Bethany is. Nothing goes to waste with her and that’s a very admirable trait.
I 💯% agree, she is awesome in so many ways. 😊
Agree 🌺🌸
@@cynthiag3065 So true!! Bethany and Paul both have very admirable traits for sure!!
I agree ❤
The sign of a true gardener lol

What a nice surprise that red currant must have been! Love the friendly gardening community you’ve built here, Laura. 👍🏼
Bethany is a smart girl… That’s how I garden, I save as much as I can just move it to another place. Laura, it looks like you need some of those elderberries out in the Dirt Lands! That way they can get as big as they want and how gorgeous they’ll be.
Oh, Elderberries would be so cool. Great idea.
Each part of the garden has its own charm. For me, the west side is my favourite! The nice pathway, the shadow of the big trees, the colourful flowers, the roses, the green wall of trees, the paved road between the trees and the flowers…astoundingly beautiful!
Agree and the gorgeous urns!!
I agree. This is my favorite part of the property.
Mine is the chicken coop area lol
Excited to see what she does with that
“One project leads to another.” So true.
All us garden lovers need Laura and Aaron as our neighbors!
I would love that!
I was thinking the same thing! I would love to see all the action on their land ❤
I would love Bethany and Paul as my neighbors!!!

Bethany, the pansies look so pretty in your orchard!!! ❤
Most of this spring's video end with Laura covered in dirt. I appreciate it😂
My pansies reseed themselves and some even winter over. Bethany is going to have a lovely orchard!

That bobcat has been a game changer! Great purchase.
I loved the forsythia and now we can enjoy them again. Great work on Bethany’s behalf ! I bet she has a beautiful garden too.
I love when you show how the machinery works. thank you for sharing the whole process.
I think the irises turning out to be purple is a stroke of good luck! It looks so harmonious in the area.
Put your broken one in water and it will root out and be another free bush 😊
Yay! Those forsythia are going to be gorgeous next year. Thank you for the mini tour too. I am happy that people are planting currants again. As a lifelong chef, currants are a favorite in many sweet and savory dishes.
Good morning all have a safe and blessed day ❤️
I really enjoy seeing the two of you working together on projects. Love from South Australia 🇦🇺 ❤
You get so much done in such a short time it seems. Everything looks so good, I’m really looking forward to the peonies blooming!
"It takes a village."....such an incredible support crew.
I remember the days when YOU did it all.
So joyful to see all the wonderful accomplishments.
My pansies are still going strong. They are in a pretty sheltered area. They are so fluffy and beautiful

Such an energetic feeling to today's video! Always love seeing the two of you working together in a united effort, you are nice folks.
That Instant Karma Elderberry has become SO magical since you pruned it back. I never liked it flopping down on the walkway. Now it's just GORGEOUS! 😍

Hiya! As far as I know, iris do not revert. Usually, they get crowded out and taken over by another color.
That is correct.
I love my Show Off forsythia! I bought it on clearance 2 fall seasons ago. This year it really took off with flowers on every branch. The urns are going to look pretty. I love a pop of chartreuse green. ☺️
Bethany does great reusing your plants, enjoying all the planting videos ❤️🦋😎

Can't wait to see everything in bloom! You guys work so hard.
The West side has a lot purple spring flowers💜 maybe you can add pink and white daffodils to the area this fall for some diverse color over there 😂❤
I like that someone uses the things used to go to the compost before
YOu get SO much done!!! I feel slow... But wonderful results Laura--everything looks beautiful 💚
Love the bright sparkly plants you choose for the West garden urns. Another great, interesting and educational video. Thank you GA Team.

Feel so warm and fuzzy inside when I see your glowing happy face with a little dirt residue on it 😊 you are such an inspiration, thank you 🌸
It's funny how we go through all this preparation and planting for only a few precious weeks of bloom....................and it's SO well worth it!🥰
Thoroughly enjoyed all the different views in this video. Had to chuckle at your reaction to not turning on your camera. 😊
I think we need a tour of Bethany’s garden now!!😊
Love to watch Aaron helping you. He has great input, which I am sure you appreciate. We used a 6' bushhog to clear our land. Great machines.

Probably older variety, but forsythia tend to layer naturally here in Georgia. Spread isn’t aggressive but it’s relatively fast. Deer barely touch it.
