She makes the trips very fun to watch. She is one of a kind. A very elegant and classy lady with a naughty child's free spirit. I like her very much. You are an inspiration as a family. No dull moment when Mom is around.

My daughter found some 1960 or so eyeglasses with points and sparkles, an aqua blue green color. She took them to a local box eyeglass store, and they changed out the lenses with the progressive darkening lenses for sunglasses. They look like they were probably something a secretary wore. My daughter wears them everywhere.

2:04 In the '70s, I went to a private elementary school for two years, first through second grade, and they had the exact same old desks from the '50s. What fond memories!
So much to see a “great wheel” in the wild! They were used for spinning cotton, but people did use them for flax and wool as well. A friend of mine uses her great wheel at home to cool down after her runs since it requires a forwards and backwards walking movement to twist the yarn and then wind it on to the spindle. It looks to be in great shape! ❤

So much to see a “great wheel” in the wild! They were used for spinning cotton, but people did use them for flax and wool as well. A friend of mine uses her great wheel at home to cool down after her runs since it requires a forwards and backwards walking movement to twist the yarn and then wind it on to the spindle. It looks to be in great shape! ❤
