I swear I watched this like 12 times already and I came for the 13th can never get over this
A new world record (at least in the world of Kansas)! Within in a minute of watching this I was applying it. I had some nice guitar tracks all cued up. I drug an acoustic guitar sample over, reversed it and ran it through the micro phaser and Voila'! - actually more like - !a'lioV - so much fun. Thanks, as always, again.
Nice one! Glad you found it useful 👍
That was very helpful and to the point, thank you!
Good stuff. Right to the point
THANKS FOR ALL your videos brother
Hey, Patrick. Good one! One of my favorite features! Cheers, my friend! Have a great weekend! 🙂
Cheers Thom, glad you enjoyed it mate! 👍
@@TheGaragebandGuide always, Patrick. The humor is also good! You have a very dead pan sense of humor. You've helped me a great deal. You made GB easy! Thanks, again! 👍
Great stuff man, very inspiring! Thanks!
@@drdrrock713 thanks for watching!

thank GOOOOOOOD! most GB tutorials are all about the app. some of us are old school and use your our computers lol 😂
Always knew about reversing but never used it properly, so never got good results.
Using it as fills on drums and percussion is one I’ll be using for the future. Thanks Patrick.
Great tip! Glad you enjoyed the video man 👍
Your channel has helped me so much. Thanks homie. Much appreciated.
Great tips. I’ve used this and it does add nice touches and interest. Nice vid 👍🏻
Nice one Andrew. Simple but really powerful in the right circumstances.

The reverse playback button is nowhere to be found. Any solutions?
Why I came here. No checkbox anywhere. ALL tutorials say the same thing, with no hint why the checkbox might be missing. Maddening.
It’s a pencil in Mac
Many thanks indeed
Yeah thats what I Came for ,I had forgotten ,I thought you could reverse loops ! -wwahhhh! :) hope you are doing great !
If it won’t let you click it, I’m check follow tempo and pitch option, I learned the hard way
Thank you! 🙏
Has it gone in the latest update to 10.4 (GarageBand on the Mac)? I have a pen, not scissors. And I can’t see anything to reverse a section.
Awesome trick but shame you can't use it on drums ,then again it should work on a drum loop right? Cheers Pat keep rockin'!
Patrick is there any pack that sounds like Pierre Bourne or Icytwat??
Hi Partick, just discovered your channel, great stuff!! Quick Q? If you can help please....i am just about to buy a mac and use garageband, but currently(for a few years) i have been using my BossBR1600CD to record demo's and the like, i plan to use GB and would like to import WAV/MP3 files from the boss to GB, the question i have is will the song file export as one 'lump' into GB, or will i be able to see the individual tracks and edit/add accordingly? I have to record each instrument individually into it's own channel input on the boss, but before i buy a mac, would like to know if it's possible. I have looked into the manual of the boss but it doesn't cover exporting files to much depth, it more or less just explains that you can...i hope you can help, and thank you. Gary
That was pretty dope...what you did with the reverse vocal
how can I do this on ipad ?
Every single thing I work on with Garageband on my phone uses reversed audio (as well as HEAPS AND HEAPS of distortion, and effects), to create rythms. There's not a clean sound that I use. Then again, old, 80's industrial music is my thing.
But how do you get reversed singing in rhythm?
why's "reverse" greyed out for me??
they can take our sandwiches but they'll never take our FREE HAM!!
Take it back! LOL. Reverse!
One hop this time!
