- Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share this new around the house happenings video with you! I felt a bit productive today as I was coming out of a funk, some days I just have to push through! I got some laundry done, got some cleaning done, I made lunch shared some recipes that would be great dinner inspiration! I threw dinner together last minute so great motivation for you if you're looking for what to make for dinner tonight! I also had to run a couple of errands so I'm excited to hang out with you today! When I got home from school in high school and college, my dad was there, he worked from home, he would have the table set with a table cloth, cups and saucers, napkins and some kind of goodies. We would wait for the mail man (a close friend), and we would all have tea. Good memories.
Pickles with cream cheese wrapped in ham is chefs kiss! Alex knows where it’s at! 😂
Clauson pickles (refrigerated) are a must. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on ham, wrap around the pickle and slice 1/4” thick rounds. To die for!

Pickle roll ups are a real thing-spread cream cheese on a thin piece of ham, wrap it around a dill pickle then slice. They are an appetizer at all our family gatherings.

Honestly Kim, if I come over as a friend to your house, I won’t be judging you from my perspective on how to live a perfect life cause mom life’s not perfect. Instead, I would offer a helping hand in any way I can or just simply hang out. Adulting is tough enough but being a busy mom of multiple children is even tougher. My family lives in the Tampa Bay area as well, tropical climate. Your videos always inspired me and gave me more positive energy to take care of my home and family. You’re the best!
Ohhhhh KIM!!!! Little Meredith is growing up so fast!!! How does this happen??? I think we’d miss it if you weren’t showing short clips of her here and there. I hope she keeps liking to wear all those party princess dresses!!! That will be a sad day when she grows out of that season of her life. But, there will be something new to appreciate when she does. You have the best kids… because you and Alex are the best parents… shhhhhh it’s mostly YOU Kim!!!!

💜🧡💚Kim, I am so excited for your addition! I love the sunlights everywhere! I have a few suggestions for your H2O bottle/storage issue: An over-the-door clear plastic shoe storage thingy on the under the stairs door or one clear, plastic tub in the cabinet where they are now...just slide it out and dump them in. ALSO, in your laundry room, since you don't use the rod between the two cabinets, you could put a shelf there for at least two more baskets like you have underneath. Thank you for posting 3x a week, I enjoy hanging out with you and your family 💚🧡💜
Or a cheap wine rack works well, too, look at the thrift store.
I’ve heard of that water bottle storage idea, just haven’t implemented anything! Lol all I hear in my head is the clinking of everything as I open and shut that door 😂
@THE WADS 💚🧡💜 If you tack it all around the edges, it won't move when you open the door. If the bottles rattle around in their little "sleeping bags," you can use a paperclip to make each slot smaller if needed. Mine works like a dream, and everyone can see and grab their favorite. It's a real time-saver, I really hope you give it a try! 💜🧡💚

Ending my Saturday with Kim! The addition looks great. I bet the girls are excited about their new rooms. My son and daughter-in-law bought a fixer upper home so my husband and I have been helping them with painting their entire house. Two more days and we will be done. Have.wonderful weekend.

Years ago my friend and I met when she had two kids and one in the oven. Hers were 6, 3, and one cooking. I had girls that were 8 and 4 years old. She used to always tell me, "Sorry, my house is a mess." Most of the time it was far from a mess. I used to tell her, "I don't care! I came here to visit you, not your house." She was such a great mom and her kids were always so cute and kept. That is what really matters to me.
Kim, you are still Wonder Woman. Never worry about the state of your home. You have 5 growing children and you live in your home. Love the addition! Skylights will be amazing letting the light in. Keep on living your best life! 💕💕💕

I have a very strong prescription and used to always wear contacts till eventually my eyes decided no more! I have several frames now so I can switch them out since I have to wear them all the time. Warby is fun but honestly my favorites in terms of comfort come from Zenni.
you have five kids that need mom's attention and your floors will always be there and your kids will grow up fast. so don't worry what some stuck up people say. You spend the time with your family and worry about house work later. Plus you do more work all day then most people I know.

You should consider giving Meredith Wentworth's room as she will want her own bathroom as she gets older, and the boys can share the hall bath. It could be the Boy's Wing. Boys don't really care about privacy as much. Just a suggestion. Love the addition so far. Good for you Kim.

Please don't take this the wrong way Kim its meant with genuine love. When you was showing us the extension, Wolfgangs facial expressions are similar to the Wallace and grommit characters. I am a HUGE fan of pair eyewear. You buy base frames that have small magnets in the corners and you can buy “toppers” so you can change the color of the outside of your frames.

Happy for you all, more room...Hopefully your older girls will help you out by keeping their nice new rooms clean, so you don't have more to do. Make their friends pick up before they leave. Make that a friend over rule. That would help. You are inspiring and keeping it real. I cleaned a little today and put up some easter. Utah is cold and snowy, and I was just not feeling it. But after I watch you, it really does inspire me. Stop by Utah this summer, I will load you up with garden produce especially tomatoes. LOL Thanks for your energy.

I love your videos and your dinner inspirations! I can never just pull things out of my freezer/pantry/refridgerator and make a meal, you make it look effortless! As far as Alex's weird food when younger, we make pickle wraps ALL OF THE TIME for family events, pickle/cream cheese/wrapped with dried beef! So dang good and always the first thing to be eaten! Also, btw, Wolfgang and Meredith are just so adorable!
