i have some Cusco knives as well. Most i picked up at estate sales. but i remember having a friend’s kid get a job for college selling Cutco and came to show me them and demonstrate. she had me literally “ cut/saw” a penney in half she held between pliers to show how sharp and great they were. they are great, but extremely sharp! and the best is you can ship them back to Cutco and get free replacements, which i have done many times. awesome! you were lucky to be gifted these knives because they cost a fortune but totally worth it. the kitchen shears are great. only utensil they sell that isn’t is their ice cream scoop. something causes the bowl of the scoop to blister/breakdown so i have sent that back for a new one a few times. your meals look awesome! do your kids eat everything you make without complaining? that’s a bonus…that you cook and no one complains! i would sigh and do the major eye roll when my kids would do that…like really! what am i ?
Good morning Kim and Party people, I have one of those burger presses and I Love mine. Just a suggestion when making fries in the oven, I line a baking sheet with foil and then I use a large cooling rack sprayed with cooking spray and place my seasoned and oiled fries on the rack and no flipping required, learned that from Rachel Ray, hey did you know her show was canceled 😢, she said after 17 years she is ready to move on to other projects. That dough, made with flour and Greek yogurt, makes great flatbreads, you roll out and cook in butter in a frying pan. They are delicious to eat with melted butter, or to make into sandwiches, using any ingredients. I couldn't believe how easy they were to make, and how great the flavor was. To make into a dessert, spread on melted salted butter and sugar/cinnamon mixture! You could make several at a time, on your large griddle!
the yogurt dough is one of the best made gluten free as well!! i've been GF since i was 11 and all of my cooking has been gf. most doughs are more like batter but this one you can use your hands to manipulate and mold it. so fun and delicious!
I heard the patina on pans helps with even browning on the food so don’t worry about replacing pans, the coating is good like the coating on cast iron.
Hi Kim. My mother bought me the set of Cutco knives about 55 years ago and I have only had one of them sharpened (they will sharpen them for free)I have a full set of their steak knives and boy are they sharp. I love them.

Thank you for another fun video! I like the southwestern egg roll recipe but I'll use more of a Asian style filling. I've used the 2 ingredients dough recipe of self rising flour and plain greek yogurt for making a full sheet pan pizza or personal size in a fry pan on stovetop. I can't remember exactly what the ratio is but it was like 3 cups of flour and maybe 1-1/2 cups of Greek yogurt. The amount for the personal size was 3 TBSP flour and 3 TBSP yogurt.
When I make spaghetti and meatballs, I use around 3/4 of the meat for the meatballs, and brown the rest with the same seasonings and onions and make it a meat sauce with meatballs. So good!! I watched an Italian cook on TH-cam and she mashed a few meatballs into her sauce. Yum!!

From one FL girl to another. Two Publix hacks, you can use the loaf of Italian bread for peanut butter French toast and to make bread crumbs. Next, they sell a five pack of Italian sausages in the meat department. I use those for breakfast bowls and pasta with chicken broth and cream. Add veggies, garlic, seasoning, your choice to make both dishes however you would like.

I always do what You did and sprinkle everything on the top then add the liquid on top of that then mix it all together! But while I was watching you I was thinking? Why don't we just mix the seasonings with the liquid and then mix it with the vegetables so it is covering them even much easier? I would think that maybe we would get a better coating out of that. And not work so hard! I don't know if that makes sense but it made sense for me while I was watching! That's what I'm gonna try and do from now on! Try Mongolian beef...sooo good and simple 2 pounds of stew meat, cubed 3/4 quarter cup soy sauce(Coco aminos) 1/4 cup of hoisen 2 tsp ginger (grated or get the minced) 2 tsp minced garlic 1 cup of water 1 cup of packed brown sugar **I usually double the recipe though** we love leftovers! Lol. Sear meat in pan Put the meat and all the sauce in the insta pot and put the timer to 22 mins. I let it naturally release but you can do either. Turn your instapot to saute, and do a cornstarch/ water slurry to thicken up..as thick as u like. I serve mine over white rice and I put green onions on the top! It is amazing!!!! Crowd pleaser for sure.
A few years ago my husband and I went on a marriage retreat and they showed a video of a husband wanting to “bless” his wife by cooking dinner for her on the grill. She ended up having to do all the prep work and the clean up. It’s now become an inside joke between my husband and whenever we want to “bless” each other, but need the other person’s help. In the end team work makes the dream work ❤
You are completely wonderful - at twice your age (and on the other side of 5 children - watching my 4 yr old granddaughter bandage her teddies) NO NEED TO WASTE TIME WASHING EGGS “Egg shells are POROUS - they have a micro membrane coating on them called “bloom” to keep potential baby chicks and their environment safe and clean. The taco braid is basically a Stromboli. Those meatballs remind me of the spaghetti and meatballs I had at this great Italian restaurant in Williamsburg.
With the Hoisin sauce... if you can get your hands on the Lee Kum Kee brand... it is FAR superior to the one you are using (and probably why you don't like the flavor of it) LKK is the brand used by most restaurants and it is DIVINE!
Kim…if you haven’t tried this, you must. It’s from Walmart in the deli area and it’s called Bearos Original submarine dressing. It’s delicious on all sandwiches, hamburgers etc. so I will put real mayonnaise on my sandwich, how ever much you want, a touch of mustard then I shake the sub dressing up real well and put on top of that then mix on sandwich. You will love it! A must try! Curious, so do you find around dinner time people just show up to your house? Lolol
I love that you loose your utensils and you spread egg wash with your hands, and your not apologetic for it. Makes me feel okay about all the “ not so put together “ things that I do.
I buy butter lettuce and the living lettuce when its buy one get one and I put in water and regrow it many times. So good. Inside because it's Minnesota temps lol
The brownies look amazing! Have you ever been to Toffee To Go? I love their toffee! Several flavors and they used to have the crumbs that fell off when they cut it for a little cheaper. Great on ice cream or in cookies! I miss them so much!

“Egg shells are POROUS - they have a micro membrane coating on them called “bloom” to keep potential baby chicks and their environment safe and clean.
Bacteria has a hard time getting inside a dry egg. Washing dirty eggs removes the bloom and invites bacteria to be drawn inside the egg.
And washing eggs in cool water actually creates a vacuum, pulling unwanted bacteria inside even faster.”

With the Hoisin sauce... if you can get your hands on the Lee Kum Kee brand... it is FAR superior to the one you are using (and probably why you don't like the flavor of it) LKK is the brand used by most restaurants and it is DIVINE!

Kim…if you haven’t tried this, you must. It’s from Walmart in the deli area and it’s called Bearos Original submarine dressing. It’s delicious on all sandwiches, hamburgers etc. so I will put real mayonnaise on my sandwich, how ever much you want, a touch of mustard then I shake the sub dressing up real well and put on top of that then mix on sandwich. You will love it! A must try!

I love that you loose your utensils and you spread egg wash with your hands, and your not apologetic for it. Makes me feel okay about all the “ not so put together “ things that I do.

I make meatloaf with ketchup on top only. So no sugar mixed in but a little bit in the top.
I buy butter lettuce and the living lettuce when its buy one get one and I put in water and regrow it many times. So good. Inside because it's Minnesota temps lol

The brownies look amazing! Have you ever been to Toffee To Go? I love their toffee! Several flavors and they used to have the crumbs that fell off when they cut it for a little cheaper. Great on ice cream or in cookies! I miss them so much!
