Forgot to mention the whole Airport Air Traffic is at a Complete Stop before Potus even Lands until after they Taxi to the secured access port. Then Air Traffic will resume again and before Potus Leaves the AirPort, Traffic is Stopped as the Escort goes through wherever he's going untol hes stopped and out of the car.

I count 8 maybe more I lost track
on the radio from the military tower they said 7 ship convoy but I know there are more helicopters that provide security along the route they have call sign Batman and Phaser

I've watched a Presidential landing at a small airport in West Virginia and there were two air force one aircraft that did multiple touch and go landings before one of them finally landed. Followed by tons of black hawk helicopters similar to this video. It was really interesting to see.

Maybe there were, but I didn't see any fighter jets when he was landing or when taking off. Maybe they were just too high but you would think they would be in view.

I've seen a CH53 use a runway to take off because it had two gigantic bolt-on fuel tanks on the sides. It actually had to make a rolling takeoff just like an airplane.

I just noticed that the POTUS plane has a reverse thrusts on all 4 engines unlike a normal 4 engine jet who has only 2
747 have reverse thrust on all four
Ed is correct 747s and A340s have reverse thrusts on all engines. The A380s don't because the wings stick out too far that the engines stick out on the edge or outside the runaway and this might cause the very powerful engines to suck up debris.

@@davidck1 all the engines on C5 have reverse thrusts. The wings on a C5 are mounted high on the fuselage which allows more ground clearance vs mid wing mount found on most passenger planes.
