This aircraft has never never been flown at an air show to the edge of its envelope ✉️ it’s classified. As to service ceiling, airspeed . Maneuverability, Weapon’s Radar, avionics, etc .
I'm 38 now. I have zero chance at any sort of job let a lone a career of any description within this kind of working environment. Love the footage. Wish I knew more when I was younger.

You have to see this in person. A video can’t do it justice. I was at a motor show at the Half Moon Bay airport in California. There was an announcer over a loudspeaker. “Ladies and gentlemen, we have a special today. The air-force has kindly had a jet come by to give us a show.” It wasn’t an F-22. I think it was an F-16. This jet comes down the runway. It’s a very short runway. This thing takes off and goes vertical. The sound was amazing.
Then why did we run like scalded dogs from Afghanistan leaving billions of dollars of weapons and thousands of people to die at the hands of ISIS or some other unknown random obscure group of unmentionables.
I got to see this recently at an airshow. It is simply amazing the handling characteristics of this fighter jet. It was almost my new favorite jet until I remembered the F-15EX exists

Imagine bringing a ww1 biplane pilot to this time and showing 5th generation fighters doing post stall maneuvers, and having a thrust to weight ratio so big that they can ignore gravity and basically submit th forces of physics... the maneuvers the f22 and su57 do, are insane

Videos don’t do the vertical climb any justice. I was laying on Waikiki and watched two of them climb vertically from the joint base. It was absolutely amazing!
At 3:16 or so. Where was the camara mounted and on what and how, so that the camera didn't move with the aircraft. The camera stayed still and the aircraft spun.
One huge computer with wings....we used to do engine tests on the jet with tie downs in the middle of the night....QC would come out to EOR and ask if we had heard explosions...we would smile and say no...

The EE Lighting, F-104, F-16XL, Concorde, TU-144D SST, and several more were able to exceed 1 Mach in level flight without afterburner. Hell, even the F/A18-E/F and F-135 CAN do it. It’s just not an advertised feature because it wasn’t ever part of the design.
Once got caught in a straight line wind on the way home one day...rode by private airstrip where they kept an old jet... straight line wind broke the morings and flipped it up side down

A minute in, sadly this vid this late, but I am excited, yet depressed, YET understand due to cost... like a week or so ago saw our birds leaving from UK to ME on YT, Godspeed our military, just into almost four minutes, DAMN! What I saw from UK perspective just recently, unfortunately from a great a distance, when a dozen left, they left in semi-loop from take-off [not disapponting on trajectory, just distance] (caught myself saying cobra loop, damn rollercoasters, but it is amazing they do not need much of runway to go acrobat before you know it episode: amd they're retiring, damn). Sorry almost year later seeing it, yet I see awesome and being retired in a blink of an eye. The Raptor are as beauty as we see everyday in animal birds flying like its nothing... what is the F-22 next predecessor? Again the cost of maintenance is very expensive, but what is +1 on this one? It's a tiny off the shelve insta 360 action camera, you can point it anywhere you like and after filming and you can just tell it to hold still.
