Coolers don't do anything in the current version of the game, upgrading them is 100% useless. Also recommending to add the turrets to the ship to get a meta build is also completely useless because this issue will be fixed in some days.
It's 100% essential for this build to work because they instantly overheat without them. So Coolers definitely do, do something in the current version. Also, I'm well aware that this issue will be fixed soon as stated in the video, however, there's no harm in having fun, shredding ships while it lasts.
