  • This is a short video in the scheme of things. It has always been my aim to have one of each of the original 1 to 75 series models in restored condition. This model was one that I did not yet have, so I decided that I would finally restore it. It is a simple, charming little toy and looks great with its red body, grey wheels, gold sign writing and silver trim. I hope that you enjoy this episode as much as I did making it. Marty.

You could do a simple upgrade on your tyre wash jig by removing the 5 nails from the block of wood and glue a waterproof foam on to the top of the block of wood itself, then put in thr 5 nails by removing the heads as you did before. The reason for this is so that you can remove the small wheels a lot more easily using your fingers particularly if you have big fingers/hands, the foam will press down giving you more leeway to lift the wheels after cleaning them a lot more easily. 🙂 Fantastic work as always... I've been a fan of your channel now for a couple of years and long may it continue 👍

We used to call it 'Nest-lee' in the UK too until they took over the big Rowntree factory in York and so got a big part of the UK market. Then they started marketing a lot and we learned it was actually 'Nestle'. ...My wife loves Kevin's appearances! ;) Another great video, thanks.

Nestlé is a French company. The second ‘e’ with its accent, has an ‘ay’ sound. Ness-lay.
