    You mentioned having alot of torque. If you REALLY want to feel the torque and gain more acceleration due to actually getting traction, you'll want to switch those rear tires out to and 11 inch wide instead of a 10 inch wide and run a set of GBC XC Masters. I'm telling you bro, ANY kind of terrain you can put that thing through those tires will EAT IT all day and pull/grip HARD AS HELL. I promise you. Make the switch bro! John’s bike just needs to be dialed in perfectly, order a carb sync from Jeff at FAST and eliminate the guessing game. A perfectly jetted bike won’t overheat and is the most efficient way of having a cooler running quad period. Not to mention your throttle response will be crispy like a super cub demands. Keep up the great content I liked how John hopped on the 421 and started ripping! I think that’s the footage everyone likes to see

    @TBullCajunbreadmaker 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    You have the right idea about the jets. You need to put in big enough jets in order not to run too lean. You are probably seeing high cylinder temperatures just for that reason. Not having enough fuel and running too lean can and will actually burn out the top of the piston wherever the temps are running hottest in the combustion chamber. You might get away with just creating a little more vacuum by reducing your air intake opening with a sponge or something and draw more fuel and create a richer fuel mixture which will reduce the temps in the C.chamber. A richer fuel/air mix will place more fuel transfer in the combustion cycle and act as a coolant in the top of the chamber. You will have to play with the adjustments until you get the mix right. You'll probably foul out a few plugs before you get it right but it's cheaper than replacing pistons and whatever else might come apart from excessive temps.

    Maybe he could add a larger fan on the outside of his radiator and wire a on/off switch to it so you can leave it on all the time. Could even possibly set up a double fan on the rad (push air through fan in the front and a pull air out fan behind the radiator). That's what a lot of gaming computers have set up to keep overclocked CPU and GPU temperatures lower even on their water cooled setup radiators.
