Finally got the time to watch this. Something to take away from this is when you ride with a big group of friends, the more of them you have, the safer it is and the more fun the whole experience is.
That was the coolest story I've heard in a long time, u live a blessed life my friend.. I can't wait to start working on my 2006 predator, right now its running to good to rip apart but as soon as i get something esle i like as much I'm going to bring her back to showroom! I love ur video's and have learned a bunch... Keep up the great content!!!
So cool watching all the people come together to help you out. part of riding is the all the cool people that will come together to help you out when you are having problems with your bike. cant wait to see the 250r once you get it back. curious to see how much more power it makes when he gets done with it.
Man who wouldn't want to ride with these guys the equipment they bring is just crazy the trailers and quads are sick too much fun.love the videos mike ✌.
This is awesome to watch. I grew up on 2 stroke quads and its really nice to see that there is still a community out there for them! I am on the west coast and really wish there was a group out this way that got together like this in Glamis! Im thoroughly enjoying the content thank you for putting this up!
That was epic havin all those guys in the trailer helpin. That's a lot o talent in one place. Love the series of vids ur doing now, little bit of riding little bit of knowledge. It's cool to see your vantage of the dunes and we can see Pete Hagars ride on same dune on the same group ride. Tks for all that filming!
Sorry for my ignorance but how does a ignition get wet/condensation like that? Ive never seen that before. And probably was a blessing in disguise having that issue, meeting all those legends and learning from them is awesome. Thanks.
The ignition was supposed to come with a grommet that seals the wires coming out of the case. It wasn't so much your fault. Only that you didn't notice it was missing and decided to put case sealant instead . Hey man I really enjoy watching your videos and think they are super cool. To be honest I wish I was riding along on my own bike
You lucky lucky man Mike Every cloud has a silver lining, you may have had more problems out on the dunes but look a the tutorial you received and the networking/contacts your making from the best in the business It’s all part of the sabo story ! 🤘
Remember when you put skipped the grommet on your side case and instead you put some kind of gunk on the wires coming out of your stator to seal it.... yeah I seen that coming and what happened ?? Eventually water got in
I lucked up and got a Dave Moore built polanda. Absolutely love it, amazing looking machine you built Mike! Keep up the content and hope someday to hook up on the trails!
Looks hella fun, I hope 1 day I can rip some dunes. I've only ever rode dunes when I was in Dubai but that was in some kinda SUV and that was crazy fun! Great video bud. Live Fast, Ride Smooth 👍
Is ThAt A aTc 250R i WaNt ThEm ALL Edit: It’s really great to see all of these two strokes out riding two strokes, aren’t getting enough love as they used too.
There is nothing like a great ride. I would definitely want to have a bigger front sprocket for top speed. Yeah it may of started with a pull. At least it isn't your timing key. I had a problem where I kept shearing off the key.
So sick I know its a bummer having the bike break down again but almost worth to have guys with such a wealth of knowledge share their wisdom and time to teach God i would of been the same way just sucking that up like a sponge so awesome so cool to see people just band together in time of need like this 💯💯💯💯
Brings back memories! Raced for long time , many championships 250R paul turner race engine (Duncan Racing ) on ice and clay oval sugar Hill speedway. Good old days
I've been wanting to go check out little sahara for years now, just dreading the 12 hour drive pulling a trailer(I'm in Missouri)50 miles out from St. Louis
I would just put the stock honda ignition back on and leave it that way. That aftermarket ignition seems super finicky and sensitive and I personally dont like how the flywheel has no key way, if the flywheel ever slipped or came loose it could ruin that flywheel and mess up the crank. It is nice though that it produces hotter spark and is more adjustable but the honda stuff just seems to work and be super reliable.
great people, would have been a bummer to go through all that and have your bike on the stand for a second time on a second trip but looks like it still turned out
its about damn time somebody that knows what their doing got a hold of that bike lmao you dont just know about 250R's , you learn about 250R's lol its all part of getting your experience
Whenever someone is towing you. Your suppose let the rope have tension. Wtf were you doing man?? Why fuck are you trying pass him. Let the man tow you.
Question for anyone that can answer it? What is the difference between the tire shapes? Like at :31 the red quad has a rounded/ballooned paddle tire and the blue quad next to it has a more flat/square tire shape so what is the difference? Is it just the tire pressure or are they made that way and what is the pros and cons of the two? I’m from west Georgia right on the state line of Alabama (I can literally throw a rock from my yard into Alabama) and down here you don’t see paddle tires cause we only got red clay which if you’ve never experienced is one of the toughest types of mud to ride and bog in. The reason being is red clay is like a combination of play dough mixed with super glue, water and lube lol it will literally stick to everything and when really wet it’s like driving on ice. For example last weekend I went mud riding in my truck and afterwards my truck sat about 2 inches lower due to the weight of all the mud stuck under my truck and once it dries out it becomes hard as a rock. It’s like having pottery stuck everywhere it can get. Sorry for the long azz explanation lol but I was just wondering if a set of paddle tires would be any good in red clay and if the actual paddle tread is hard rubber like a mud tire or soft as in it would flatten if driven on a hard surface. Thanks to whomever is able to answer my questions.
I'd be willing to bet, you have a bad ground. There's resistance and after riding for a while and bouncing, that ground gets hot and no longer allows enough connection. Once it cools, it fires back up.
I'm setting here just shaking my head at the improper piston clearance issue. Hopefully you've finally found your man that can steer you in the right direction with this thing. It sounds like Dave is exactly that kind of person that I've been telling you you've needed. That's so awesome the he's helping you out and that you get to benefit from his R&D with your cylinder. You're learning, so that's what's important.
So awesome that Dave Moore offered to take your parts and help you out and teach you. What a legend. Can’t wait for part 3 ! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
🙏 4 Blake!! His bike is a dime piece!!
That was a fun fast 3pm ride. I was in the middle towards the front. Thanks again for the shout out. Glad I could help!!
Can't believe you got to spend that kind of time with Dave Moore, that is awesome!!
The people involved in the atv world are awesome, there is always somebody willing to give their time and help. I love it
Finally got the time to watch this. Something to take away from this is when you ride with a big group of friends, the more of them you have, the safer it is and the more fun the whole experience is.
I'm glad you found the cause.
And have some awesome guys helping you sort it out.

I like how even if they dont know you, they go and help you and look for you, thats nice
That's how it works. You help whenever you can and when it's your turn to have bad luck someone helps you.
I can’t believe that there are that many r’s left after all these years! I hope I can own one of those beasts one day!
Man who wouldn't want to ride with these guys the equipment they bring is just crazy the trailers and quads are sick too much fun.love the videos mike ✌.

Power washing it and not having a notch cut out of the stator cover will trap water inside.
I answered your question

I’ve ridden a race quad once and can’t get enough of these videos. Little Sahara is a haul from New Hampshire lol
You lucky lucky man Mike

Watching all your videos is pushing me to finally build my tecate 4 I've had for a few years now.
Remember when you put skipped the grommet on your side case and instead you put some kind of gunk on the wires coming out of your stator to seal it.... yeah I seen that coming and what happened ?? Eventually water got in

Great Riding them Sand Hills, I bet they were higher than it showed on the camera. Great that what happened to the 250 R is fixable!
Great to see her running like a ripper, looks like an amazing time!!
Your problem ended up being a blessing in disguise. A life lesson we could all use
So cool to see all the r’s
There is nothing like a great ride. I would definitely want to have a bigger front sprocket for top speed. Yeah it may of started with a pull. At least it isn't your timing key. I had a problem where I kept shearing off the key.
🔥🤘Dope Content 🤘🔥 as smooth as you'd think sand would be..i can see clearly it's not! No sand near me but I love riding in the snow

Looks like that 250r is beating your arms up
I've been wanting to go check out little sahara for years now, just dreading the 12 hour drive pulling a trailer(I'm in Missouri)50 miles out from St. Louis
Same problem with my ATC 250r failing spark but mines also seizes up every time I ride for a long period of time.
I hope next time I go too the dunes y’all are there
I love the sand but honestly with how often you have to be in the power band that shit scares me.
how would a yz250 do out there i ride mine often and it seems that it would suck on a dirtbike
Wsp everyone hope your day going good if not hope this massage make it 10 time's better love you all
i love massages

The willingness of those with years of experience to help at a drop of a hat is what makes this sport what it is.pass it on!

Mike, I am struggling with a shift lever problem. What do you use? I cant shift with my moto boots on.
Any suggestions?
Try rotating it up a spline
great people, would have been a bummer to go through all that and have your bike on the stand for a second time on a second trip but looks like it still turned out

when is the 2021 legends tour?
When your just watching the long awaited part 2 to the little Sahara series then your first girlfriend decides to break up with you...
To hell with her. This is the sabo ,com'n Man.
Sounds like you need a 250r and a good buddy to ride with.
More fish in the sea bud!
@@MeachPango well I have a 250r but no one to ride with
Gotta learn from the greats while we can.
first second or third. who knows. I joined at like the first 10 sec it was live.

As I watched more after my original comment and looks like I wasn't too far off. Lol
The one dislike is from the stator.
Been giving you some problems so much not be far from perfect
It is fine all project bikes are like that

Didn’t know people even made warriors fast. They were cool but if you wanted fast you got something different. Low ceiling on those machines
250r’s just seem like problem after problem lol
Ya👍life of a 2 stroke rider. Lol just saying 🤷. I've towed plenty out of the bush with my "tractor" 4 strokes for this guy .
*3:10 DAMN, THATS A SEEWT ASS BIKE!!! The bike your on is way bad!
