You know what the best part about this is? It's not that You can indefinitely go super mode, it's not that you rematch Sephiroth, it's that you get to see Valor Form with an empty MP Gauge, something otherwise impossible unless it were to gain magic casting, which goes against design.
I’m a bit late but I think how it works is that Sephiroth has immunities to ELEMENTAL attacks. Reflect and Magnet have no element, so they’ll smack Sephiroth as normal. Also apparently normal attacks have the “weapon” element. No. I’m not kidding. There’s actually an element called “weapon.”
I'm more dissapointed in the Wisdom fight. He could've used Thundaga to interrupt Heartless Angel, and used Firaga into Wisdom Shot Finisher to capitalize on the reaction commands.

perkypears the point is that Sephiroth is immune to elemental damage, not magic (because now that one thinks about it, would render him immune to Explosion and Ripple Drive too, which would be horrible) perhaps Magnet is not capable of drawing bosses, but the important part is that it hits sephiroth. With that in mind, using a little creativity the name of the game might change immensely. For example it might be possible to stop Heartless Angel simply by locking on and casting magnet the same way that in 0.2 Thundaga can cancel Mirror Aqua's Blizzaga attack
Two become one and Bond of Flame for Final Form? Most go with Oblivion and Oathkeeper or Two become One and Ultima Weapon for the symbolism but that one is awesome too.
