With the party system it also added the feeling of someone possibly being replaceable. Most people now can be cynical and know obviously, there's not going to kill off goofy, and Winnie the Pooh isn't going to cast firaga or violence, but at the time it was a real scary moment. Especially when in the same game axel immolated himself, the game prior had a major character erased from existence, the beginning has another character erased from existence, and birth by sleep wound up with major characters possessed, stuck in a coma, and stuck in the underworld constantly fighting for years. There was also the mobile game which was essentially a existential crisis simulator. Pretty heavy stuff aside from spending 10 minutes fighting a Disney villain

There's no way they could have just looked there by going up to it and pressing X, where's the minigame in that? It'd be too much like the minigame where Pooh had to find his friends in plain sight and press X. Hope this clears things up!

Let me try to explain. In the story, Eeyore has lost his tail, so Winnie the Pooh and his friends decided that Pooh can take a look from the sky to find it, hence that swing minigame.
I remember being so focused on the fight that i blocked out what Phil was saying cause he was annoying, i basically yelled: Shut up Phil! I'm trying to figure out how to beat this level! XD
I’ve never played Kingdom Hearts, but I’m a fan of Final Fantasy 7, so hearing Donald Duck speak to Sephiroth was incredibly surreal and absolutely hilarious.
I highly recommend Kingdom Hearts! Disney brings the wackiness and lightheartedness while Final Fantasy brings the slightly dark tone. Throw characters and worlds from/remiscent to each in there and ya got Kingdom Hearts! 😁👌🏼 Sadly Kingdom Hearts III doesn't have Final Fantasy characters, which is very strange IMO since they've always been in there. Other than that, lovely cameos (I wanted Noctis and gang, and maybe others to be in KHIII tho)!
As a Kingdom Hearts player I would not recommend kingdom hearts to anyone unless they wanted a joke game. It's a wild hell I'm trapped in, fun and ridiculous, but boy is it weird.

I never got to play the games in order when I was younger, so I had a whole different take on the story. I can guarantee you it was a whole lot darker in my little 5yr old mind. I just wish I wrote it down so I could remember what I thought it was about for laughs.

In the story, Eeyore has lost his tail, so Winnie the Pooh and his friends decided that Pooh can take a look from the sky to find it, hence that swing minigame.

I’ve never played Kingdom Hearts, but I’m a fan of Final Fantasy 7, so hearing Donald Duck speak to Sephiroth was incredibly surreal and absolutely hilarious.
I highly recommend Kingdom Hearts! Disney brings the wackiness and lightheartedness while Final Fantasy brings the slightly dark tone. Throw characters and worlds from/remiscent to each in there and ya got Kingdom Hearts! 😁👌🏼
Sadly Kingdom Hearts III doesn't have Final Fantasy characters, which is very strange IMO since they've always been in there. Other than that, lovely cameos (I wanted Noctis and gang, and maybe others to be in KHIII tho)!

As a Kingdom Hearts player I would not recommend kingdom hearts to anyone unless they wanted a joke game. It's a wild hell I'm trapped in, fun and ridiculous, but boy is it weird.
Alison Claire KH is a good game because it was our childhood and we’re blinded by nostalgia.

I have played each game in the series multiple times and I can confirm you're right on the money.

@@salmon-stan essentially it's a temporary attack mode that uses goofy's power to give the main character new abilities (and a change in clothes). so he shouldn't be able to use it there, since goofy is out of commission
