Now that you won’t have any oil in the pickup tube, oil isn’t getting to the crucial parts as fast on start ups. Banks makes great stuff but this is one of those marketing ploys.
Lmfao…. Banks has a video covering this topic. They did a ton of r&d. Now is this essential for everyday drivers no. But for hotshot drivers this could be a win in keeping the oil cooler when hauling heavy loads.
Right - well here’s the deal. I have hauled 12k-15k across the country and my oil temp averaged 190° and never went over 225°. Since most good motor oils flash point are well over 300°, tell me how this is going to “save your engine”. Also - Banks R&D is going to support whatever they want to sell. I don’t dislike Banks at all but there is still a multi billion dollar aftermarket diesel industry to feed…

Off topic question, but how’s the bigger fuel tank holding up? Any more issues with the gauge? Also can’t wait for my banks stuff.
More about that Fox steering stabilizer when you get it all figured out please
