Yep, this is the best thing that happened today in '80 . RCMH basically Dead Set was my first exposure. I am drawn to these recordings. I never saw Jerry play acoustic- let alone chilling on a stool. Thank Mr.T good vocal work, quite the mellifluous Jer Bear.🐻
Tobin, you sir, are a legend. Thank you for all you’ve done and continue to do. This is absolutely sublime. That Roses always makes me weep. God I love Jerry and long hair Brent. Forever grateful. 💀⚡️🌹
Just something else, cant compare it to anyone, anything, anywhere, anyway, nothing! The grateful dead where there own band, these cats played all types of tunes. They are the band in the music world, like batman was in the super hero world. But they were better,so much talent, glory, beauty, love, emotion, peace and just loaded as hell, but they could handle,i believe the drugs got overdose on the deads tunes hahaha. And allways remember Robert hunter, respect to him, dont know how he dun it but he did something glorious for this world.Theres so many great soldiers who made this band more than grate.Bear dont forget him,he dun a very awesome job.Love respect to all deadheads worldwide.
Thank god this exists!
Jerry's knowing grin at the "one pane of glass in the window"....priceless
Fly through the night. RIP Brent. RIP Jerry.
The both and onlies
RIP Robert
RIP Phil.
Elizabeth Cotten's Oh Babe It Ain't No Lie, and Jerry/Robert Hunter's Ripple are both just sublime.
Sr in high school cut that day and scalped tickets to this show
Far out
I was a sophomore, we took the 11A bus from Hackensack to NYC, bought tickets at some head shop a week before...it's the night I got on the bus

The banter is awesome lol
From Patti Cornell love you Bobby
Yaaaaaa
What’s the instrumental jam they play about 25 minutes in
Do you have any of the hell's angels footage from the radio City music Hall shows?
What guitar is Jerry playing here?
Great question. Wish I knew myself
From Patti Cornell
biggest onstage band argument i've ever heard
You heard it too huh? It was Mickey and Bill going at it.
what is going on with the banter here? lots of colorful language
I actually thought these were a current band like form the 2000's
Jerrys hands always shaking when he solo
You have shake your hands when you solo on guitar. That's normal procedure.
@@usarmyveteran177 also, drugs
it's a combination of vibrato and his stage fright
