Thanks for the comparison. In summary, since I like more room, I suppose I wld prefer the Model Y☺️ The one piece glass roof is cool & the hatchback WITH a trunk space, yes & yes!😍

I have owned a M3 for a year and just traded it for a MY, when they lowered the price in January. I love the space the MY provides as well as the same pleasure of driving. I was afraid to loose the sharpness in tight curves because it’s a bit higher, but I am very happy to feel the same way. I simply love it.
Nice. Glad you’re enjoy the Y! There definitely is a lot to like about the Y. Honestly I do prefer the higher seating position for road trips, and it is so much easier to load large items. But I’m just a sedan person I guess 🤷♂️
I live in central Oregon and want to know which one dogs prefer. Do the back seats of the model 3 hold up well to dogs, how about the space in the model Y?
Good questions. So I have a dog seat cover that has straps that go over the rear and front headrests. Only takes about 1 minutes to put on. Helps protect the seats, but the seats are very durable regardless. Over 5.5 years still look great.
For small to medium size dogs I prefer the model 3 just since it’s easier to load them in the lower seats, but if u don’t mind lifting them into the model Y or if they can jump up high enough then Y has plenty of room. The nice thing about Y is that since it’s a hatchback u can put the seats down and then put large crates in the back for dogs. I just seat belt them in the backseat for trips to the dog park.
JMO, I love the hatchback of Y, but I prefer the way the 3 looks. The Y seems too big for me. I prefer smaller vehicles. Like the Bolt, for its size, but not for its charging. All in all, I think Tesla Model 3 is my dream car. Hopefully someday I can afford one.
I agree! 😃 I love the size and drive of the Model 3, compared to Model Y, but for families I guess Model Y is more practical.
Model y is cheaper,easier to get in and out,the hatch back is nice. I like the model y long range with the acceleration boost option.i had the performance 3 and wouldn’t recommend it if you live on rough roads the tire sidewalls will

Thanks for the comments! That’s cool you had a Performance 3. I’m really curious how the new one does with potholes. The suspension, ride quality, road noise are all so much better on the 2024 Model 3 that I can’t wait to drive the 2024 performance 3 and see how it handles rough roads.
Model Y for me, 3 is to dinky and small.
Model Y is definitely the choice if you want more room 😃
