Nice review. Props! I've had mine for about 2 years now. First off the pots went bad fairly quickly. The gears are not very good either. But, it does look good, though it's not ever going to be a top notch guitar. Gibson is Gibson, PRS is PRS... but... For the price, it's a steal.
Clear, concise evaluation as always... A port in a storm this is. I especially like the use of an aquarium tank background being repurposed to good use!🤘🤘🤘🎈
Thanks for the review.! That was helpful. I bought one of these guitars. Feel good in my hands but i haven’t done any set up or even changed the strings yet. I was surprise to hear the pickup readings. I have a guitar with. Some Seymour Duncan JbS that I will comparison to.
Thank you for this review. I couldn't find any info on the pickups to know if they could be split. As of writing this review, amazon is selling this guitar for $151. Add a push/pull pot, and you are still under $200 for a beautiful guitar.
Nice...how much is it though?, because the harley benton cst 24 is basically the same guitar but comes with a graphite nut, stainless steel frets,, push/pull coil splitting and a trem for £235 ($250)..
They're currently on sale for $135. I just bought one used for $110 (US). As the owner of several Harley Bentons, I strongly suspect that they contract with the IYV factory for some of their production.

I have one. Plays great, no fret buzz. No sharp edges. Sounds fantastic to me. My only gripe is how fat the neck is but it's definitely manageable.
Good video, I like how you structure your reviews.

Can you reccomend affordable pickups to replace these which would give some nice Jazz tones?

Probable 43 gauge wire vs. 42 gauge wire on the pickup resistance. FWIW
