- Florencio is back with another crazy game of StarCraft 2. In this Protoss versus Zerg he goes by the name of Old Greg as he goes up against a Diamond League Zerg player. As expected, this game also gets crazy really quickly as it starts with a Cannon Rush and then transitions towards cheeky Stargate strategies.

Until that last fight, this Zerg player was probably one of the least mentally broken players I've seen Flo play against.

@@nar2130 I mean, he lost long before that anyway. You simply can't lose 100 workers to 1 and win in this game.
@@lizgayle14 the only thing he had going for him were the hidden bases but once flo found it, it was over.
Liz Price The issue is that they had that many workers in the first place. They were waaay too passive, as evidenced by they didn’t go over 40 army supply until 12 minutes in - on 4 bases. Have Flo way too much time to recover. If they had been more aggressive with the Corrupters and even 1 or 2 waves of lings, it would have been an entirely different outcome.
@@disiesgroto1881 the inner zerg in me agreed with the turtling honestly. The issue I had were the oracles. I would have kept the corruptors chasing them to try and prevent any more worker losses because there were too many of them. And lings wouldnt last long against that many oracles
Controlling two sides of the map, then teleporting an air army between the two was super awesome

Same play-style, two vastly different skill level.
You see the difference is, Has is trying to win. Florencio is actively trying not to win, but to drive his opponent to scream at their monitor through tears or rage.

@@StarboyXL9 I mean, in some context yeah, but Mr. Tixt means that Has actively tries to just win while Florencio actively tries to terrorize his opponents and *then* win. Has is a straight up victor, but Florencio is a terrorist that manages to win after the fact. I think.

These Florencio videos are the best. No boring top level routine playgame.
Once I saw Florencio moving out at the end with all those stalkers, I realized that zerg had way too many corrupters.

Man...that poor Zerg player. They got so rattled by the constant pressure. It's no wonder by the end of it they weren't thinking the straightest, but to keep it together that long after so much had been lost would've fatigued anyone. I've been in that position before, and feeling like you're being toyed with just tanks your confidence in your units, even if they're more than adequate, and makes winning feel like it's getting further and further away. Florencio played a great mind war, even if mechanically he isn't as skilled as others we've seen on the channel.
OldGreg is the original sewer mermaid. He has a mengina, and Bailey's.
yeah at 14:10 he wasn't hoping on trapping the hydras, he was hoping on draining the queens hp, putting it in a stasis trap and then leaving. This is florenicio.

maybe ive seen too many florencio videos, but when im in game, if there is anything besides mega standard, i immediately send lings to every base. ive caught hidden bases so many times

Lost it when Lowko noticed the lack of warpgates for Florencio. You need to watch more of the Sewer Mermaid man, it's part of the standard build. Also, not having any upgrades

omg he completely missed it. Florencio cancelled the nexus because the corruptors were puking on it, then rebuilt it as they went to leave, then cancelled, then rebuilt, then cancelled, then rebuilt a final time. It was the perfect play because it distracted the corruptors long enough for the entire 'toss army to move across the map.
Imagine a short reaction video of Lowko watching Old Greg videos. I'd watch the #$@# out of that. lmao

Kinda late, but I'm assuming Old Greg is a reference to Greg 'Idra' Fields being senile and switching to protoss and resorting to cheese strategies to win games. He has a lot of famous moments from back in the day. Kind of a genius alt name tbh.

Old Gregg is from The Mighty Boosh.
Zerg at no point showed any signs of micro. They had one hotkey for each unit type and always moved each unit type as a complete ball, even when it was hugely suboptimal. Observe, for example, some of those hydra moves where the tall of the ball was most of a screen away from the head and simply couldn't close with the air units . . . even though it was excellently positioned to get a partial surround, the tail was never commanded separately.
Florencio was actually doing a lot of the same, only with fewer of each unit and better strategy so that it actually worked.
Now I want a BO7 of Has vs Florencio.
