Better Neck = Better Ankles (My Favorite Exercise!)

- Hi there! In this video, we're going to look at the connection between posture and ankle mobility, as well as my favorite exercise for exploring and improving this connection.
As a lot of us know, forward head posture is incredibly common. Most people assume that FHP causes neck pain, but the truth is that there is little research evidence that supports this.
However, while the research between FHP and pain is very hard to interpret, there is significant research that demonstrates the FHP can have dramatic impacts on multiple systems and capabilities in the human body which often makes it work addresses.
Today we're going to look at the link between FHP and limited ankle mobility. If you've ever struggled with getting into a deeper squat or have ankles that feel like they are stuck in concrete after a long day of walking, your neck position may play a critical role.
In the video I'll be demonstrating a simple and effective exercise that can be done just about anywhere, and it only takes a few minutes. Whether you're an athlete or someone who spends a lot of time sitting at a desk, this exercise can benefit you.
If you're interested in improving both your posture and your mobility be sure to watch and give it a try for yourself! Thanks for tuning in.

Very helpful 🎉 thank you.
why would it be such a big difference with doing a squat with an inch or 2 of the heel being lifted.
i have to widen my legs, still a challge with balance, but, that has been an issue.
What does it say if tucking the chin makes it harder/more uncomfortable?
