Now we need your reactions to the other 3 albums! Starting with "Castle in the Clouds", then "The Lost City", and then "Valley of Kings".

This band is “fantasycore”. The first 3 albums are a trilogy story that’s incredibly fleshed out and super detailed. The narrative for the first 3 albums is amazing. Atlas Ruinica is the start of a new trilogy and it’s got an incredibly deep story as well.

It feels more spirit-journey than fantasy based story telling to me, I think.

This is my album of the year without a doubt. I think it's so good that I consider it up there with most iconic metalcore albums of all-time.

sunchaser invokes this feeling of nostalgia despite having no partocular memory behind it. Can't explain it. Such a goof song. That chorus..

I met the guy that plays guitar and does background cleans for this band at a super small basement show a few years ago, with seraphim, red handed denial and hollow front! Literally in the basement of a guys house that throws concerts all of the time there for smaller bands. Super nice guy! Interestingly enough, my dad actually knew him from going to a few concerts at the same place, and that's how I met him. My dad isn't even a metalhead lol. Used to listen to this band back then but it's been awhile. Their old stuff is good too but these riffs are fuckin nasty!

So far this has been my AOTY. The only other album I'm really looking for is the new RAven Age album.
