A Lot Like Birds is an old band where Kurt from DGD was the vocalist. People love their albums, I am not as much into them, but a couple of their singles are undeniably some of the best post-hardcore tracks out there. Connector and Vanity's Fair are must hear songs eventually. Connector's music/lyric video is incredible too
A Lot Like Birds had one album before Kurt joined them (with his dgd departure) and they made 2 albums together. Then his departure from them, they put out one final album without. The two albums Kurt is on is some of the best music ive ever heard. Definitely recommend

The "first two" feature Kurt Travis sharing vocals with another guy named Corey Lockwood. Tbh I like them and Hail the Sun more than DGD

Also, the drummer: Joseph Arrington is a fucking monster and deserves wayyyyy more recognition.

after sianvars other album you should check out nova charisma, another band that donovan sings in, it's great
