Great video! But the shot of Elmo Lincoln at 0:56 is from Tarzan, the Ape Man (1918), not from the serial The Adventures of Tarzan (1921), also starring Lincoln.
Glad you mentioned Tarzan, Lord of The Jungle from 1976 CBS-TV-Filmation. It is often overlooked. However, there were new episodes being made until 1980.
How DARE you not include the animated film by Disney from 1999!? Instead, you just showed us some mediocre-looking animated feature from that year, and then just the sequels and spinoffs to the Disney movie! 😠
The original celluloid animated version doesn’t air on tv anymore and is technically at odds with modern culture. While the live action Disney version of George of the Jungle is more like the Weissmuller Films’ family friendly spiritual successor in the West, the Canadian digitally animated version is much darker than both the original and the live action versions due to heavy uses of violence and getting crap past the radar.
I knew there where a bunch of Tarzan movies made on the 30's, but I didn't expected to be THAT many. He certainly was a popular character on that age.
