I started wit a 95 gallon tank and haven’t switched up. My goal at the beginning was 9 cars a day for 25 to 30 a car to try to seal a 225 to 270 dollar day. Now I do 4 a day and am past that mark with better efficient service. It takes time but it’s worth it

I was talking to a customer the other day about this topic. They'd notice I downgraded to a smaller tank (250 go to 100 gal) 3-4 cars is all i need at my price point...it took a while 😃 to get there!! Great topic Ant! Keep winning brother 🏆

Great video. Best I’ve seen on water tank sizing. It’s hard to give someone a direct answer because there are so many variables that can change things but you explained those very well.

    • @AAProfessionalServices
      @AAProfessionalServices  ปีที่แล้ว +1

I agree. Once you figure those variables, you should be to pick a tank

I use a 50 gallon tank with a 1.7 gpm pressure washer. I can do 3-4 cars with that set up. Mainly because a lot of the cars I do, don't have caked on mud/dirt. Also, I pretreat the paint and my two bucket system consists of a bucket ONR with about 15 microfiber towels that I use once. I use a Ram C/V Tradesman, so space and weight played a big factor. I wanted a smaller vehicle so I can cater to clients that live in buildings with garages. Basically, it's easier to maneuver and park. I only break out the foam cannon, if i'm doing a paint correction and/ceramic coating. In other words, the more they pay, the more water they get.
Weight should also be a major factor in choosing a water tank. 1 gallon = 8.35 lbs. So if your vehicle has a payload capacity of lets say 1600 lbs, the water is going to take up half that. And that's not including passengers, gas, and all of your equipment and supplies. If you overload your vehicle, there will be more wear and tear.

The guy that had the van before me left the tank so I upgraded from 65 to 100
But unfortunately he messed up the van by driving it with too much weight and i bought a bad van.. now paying to fix it but i love it. Learn and grow

Water weighs close to 8-1/2 pounds per gallon. Don't forget to figure that extra weight in on your van, pickup or trailer, and make sure your vehicle can haul and stop that extra weight. Saw a local guy pulling a pontoon boat with a small pickup go right thru a light and hit a car. Too much weight for his truck.

Either color will need to get rinsed off as soon as you can of soap
Spray some “Superior formula 4 spray wax” when you are rinsing the car off the soap
What that Superior product does is beading that water and leaving a coat of wax, leaving a look like waxed car.
Giving you also a water spot free car and now take your time to use your favorite rag to get the car dry even under direct sun light
Read instructions to use this product, dilution rate
      Safe to use
Spray the product everywhere in the car, safe on glass
Order it on line @ oreylli’s auto parts, $25 I guess but it lasts a long time as you dilute the formula
Superior products has some good stuff for car maintenance
Several videos here on TH-cam using this product
Or use p&s bead maker, same concept different $price

Shouldn't you pre rinse all the dirt and contaminants off? If you just foam it and contact wash, wouldn't you be rubbing contaminants into the paint and creating micro scratches? I'm genuinely curious. Not hating lol.

Do one third super clean, two thirds water and two dawn shot glass pours and that’ll do just fine. Just don’t let it dry on trim. Everything else should be fine like tires and paint. For interior just do 10 parts water one part SC

Vehicle too small and tires are at the wrong rating would be my guess. Water is about 8.4lbs/gal. I dont have anything lower than a 3/4 ton truck for the weight cap and E rated tires. You can get a ticket for being overweight for the gvrw of your vehicle also.
