Just buy what you cab afford and be prepared to upgrade asap. 335 gal and above if you can afford it.
When I started detailing, I had been detailing for years in a body shop. Plan and save. In the meaning time learn everything. Don't just watch videos. Get out and do it. Do it free if that's what it takes to learn. Learn your business. Do market survey's. Don't copy a price list from competition. Do your own thing and set yourself apart from your competitors. Be honest and truthful. Don't cut corners to make a buck. You will hurt all of us if you do. Don't undercut your competition, you will regret it later. Give your customers valve for what you charge them. No everyone is cut out for this business. You want the big bucks? You will have to work for it just like everyone else no one is going to give it to you. Knowledge is easy to get. You have to know how to use this free knowledge.
Don't cheat Uncle Sam.
Setup your business plan and work the plan. You will need to modify it as time goes on. Get a separate checking account. You can't figure it out on your own hire a lawyer or CPA to help or contact SBA SBA gives free advice. Make friends with your completion, we are all in this together and friends help you enemies don't. There is no need to be greedy, there is plenty of work for those that truly want it bad enough. You will need to sacrifice sometimes .nothing is easy. I knew my business and did everything right and still struggled when I first started. I did not Rob my savings for this business. My business either stood on its own or I would have close my business before I would have gone bankrupt. Most do not survive the first year. Only 10% will survive the second. Don't do it if you are only thinking about the money. Do it because you love it and have something to sell.
This is exactly what I’ve been preaching for the last 5 years. I love this response. Thanks for sharing
@@AAProfessionalServices i think it helps our profession to support each other when we have knowledge. It strengthens the while profession. Any business is never successful with out doing the home work needed to success. Its not easy, even if they think it so. It's hard spending hours cleaning. Is we didn't have at least some OCD we wouldn't be doing it either😂
Facts! where are you from. Where are you located

Also for those larger tanks that don’t have baffles there are baffle balls online you can reference, hideously expensive but you can build knock offs of your own and put them in the tank to save your transmission if you get that
Rocking motion
Thanks for watching and sharing
Not good to have a wreck because of no baffles. The bigger the tank the more important it is to have baffles. Never over load the capacity of your vehicle 300 + gallons is a lot of water and weight. It get lose, people can die.
This is the first time I seen this but I'll follow just cuz you said it cool
First time you've seen?

I’m looking for a water tank for my yard where I park all my commercial vehicles. I wanna be able to wash equipment such as trucks and mowers maybe 1-3 times a month. What would you recommend ? I have no electricity or water at my yard which is the reason why I’m looking for a tank. Also would a power washer work fine with just a tank? Or it wouldn’t have pressure ? Thanks!
I'd get a 330 gallon tank and gas pressure washer

Oh yeah I found out where I can get a tank from I Google it
Thanks for the info brother. I already have a detailing shop, however a person came in and asked my to do 150 RV's. I told him I would do it. Need to get set-up For mobile ASAP 💰💰💰
150 ? Sounds a little strange make sure you get a deposit if possible
Go for it
I’m a year late to this vid but I have a question. I am planning on starting a mobile detailing business with my neighbor but unfortunately we don’t have our drivers licenses yet, (I get mine in 4 months) so we are going to use his golf cart to go to customers houses. We are planning on doing however many cars a day as we can get but we can’t fit a big tank on the golf cart and nor do I have the money for one. So since we are only going to be washing cars in our neighborhood, after every wash we will stop at our houses, fill the tank back up and go on to next customer. So I really only need the capacity to wash 1-2 vehicles. My options are an 8 gallon tank, 10 gallon tank, or 16 gallon tank. I could get a 26 gallon tank but it then gets a little out of my budget. My pressure washer is also 1.2 GPM. Which one do you think I should get?
26 gallons or just use the customers water. You can fill up at the customers houses
@@AAProfessionalServices should I hook up the power washer to the customers outlet too, would that be fine?
Trust me they wont mind
What’s good bruh, I got a question I’ll be doing about 3-15 seaters vans , 15 Toyota corollas,1 Hyundai, 1 crisis van and 3 mini vans how big of a tank should I get ?
275 gallon should do it
You're like Ezekiel from the kingdom in the walking dead 😂
How so?
What gpm pressure washer do you recommend? I have a 1500 psi pressure washer with a GPM of 1.7
That's perfect.
Where do you get the water, and how much do you usually spend on water?
I fill it up from my house
Can anyone help me I live in an apartment complex and want to start a detailing business but I don’t know where too get water to fill up the tank
Have you started your business yet?
Have you bought a water tank?
I am starting to clean cars of how many gallons do you recommend using the tank
50-100 gallons
My question always is we’re do you get the water ? Besides your house
Mostly from my house. Sometimes I feel up.at my customers house.
What part of Mississippi are you from man. I'm in Clinton
Madison county
I'm starting to want to wash cars of how many gallons do you recommend the water tank
At 50 -100 gallons
I like to use customers water but sometimes people live on apartments or customers are assholes that’s why I need a tanks
Facts
Why not get 275 gallon tank and just don’t fill up all the way just put 55 gallons .. and good to have the extra space if needed
Didn't want to
Where do you get your water supply for your tank?
My home
Thanks for your response.
You use your house water how you get the water to be water spot free.
My water is not spot free
المغرب morrouco. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Will a 35 gallon tank good enough?..
It depends on how many gallons per minute (GPM) that your pressure washer is putting out. How many vehicles per day and how dirty the vehicles are.
@@AAProfessionalServices I don’t have a pressure washer but I am trying to get one. Which one do you recommend for a 35 gallon tank?..
An electric pressure washer 2 GPM. Try harbor freight
@@AAProfessionalServices ok Thankyou
I have a question
Ask away
Thanks doing my second build now,
Glad to help. Thanks for supporting the content
Are you gravity feed?
Yes
@@AAProfessionalServices how do you keep it from surging when idle
As a rule of thumb, gas pressure washers will gravity feed. Most electric pressure washers won't.
@@carterslawncare2258 Use a spring. It's a quick and easy. Instructions are on TH-cam.
